Portland Spirit Cruises & Events, located in Portland, Oregon, offers a unique experience for your engagement party, rehearsal dinner, or an elegant ceremony and reception. With all-inclusive wedding packages, we take the guesswork out of the planning process, leaving you with a picturesque wedding on the river. Packages include three hours of private cruising time, Pacific Northwest cuisine prepared fresh on board, Champagne toast, white linens and chair covers, sound system, on site cruise manager, service charge, and much more. Facilities and Capacities
The flagship of our fleet, the Portland Spirit, gives you all the elegance and luxury of a cruising ballroom, featuring two stages with baby grand pianos, a marble dance floor, and three levels, including a viewing top deck that accommodates up to 300 guests for your ceremony and 400 for a reception. The Willamette Star accommodates 100 guests for your ceremony or 120 for the reception and features a cherry wood interior, gilded ceilings, a piano, and two levels including a viewing top deck. A more intimate space is the Crystal Dolphin, a luxurious yacht that accommodates up to 50 guests for a ceremony and 80 for the reception.
Services Offered
Inclusive wedding packages include many amenities with your package price. Services and items include:
- 3 hours of private cruising time and 15-30 minutes of boarding time for your guests (depending on the vessel)
- 1-hour of set-up time
- In-house catering featuring Pacific Northwest cuisine prepared fresh on board (your choice of plated entrées or buffet)
- Full-service bar with bartender
- Beverages (fountain sodas, iced tea, hot tea and coffee)
- Champagne/sparkling cider toast
- Tables and chairs
- Standard white linen and napkins
- Chair covers (white or black)
- China, flatware and glassware
- Audio equipment & corded microphone for announcements (DJ audio not included)
- Event planning and on-site cruise manager
- Gratuity/service charge
Cuisine
With fresh ingredients and delicious menu options, you'll be able to design the perfect menu with your choice of a variety of Pacific Northwest entrées, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Our in-house Executive Chef will create anything ranging from seafood to salad, meats, vegetarian options, and so much more.

Best Venue and Staff Ever!!
Far and above our expectations to use the Portland Spirit. The whole staff was so nice, efficient and helpful to all of our guests. The food was delicious and all of the coordination was amazing. You will be so thankful if you use the Portland Spirit because the staff on the boat made this event seamless! And the captain was our officiant and he is amazing!! What a wonderful memory with him and he even let us drive the boat when we went up to sign our license!
All of our guest kept telling us this was the most fun wedding they have been to and how cool it was to be on a cruise! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using The Portland Spirit!! They are so inclusive so the money goes to so many things and you will get an amazing staff to help you.

Unbeatable venue for scenery, friendly and helpful staff, and overall excellent memories. Few places can rival the novelty and plain fun of a huge sternwheeler as it drifts down the Willamette. Check this place out!
There is no place in Portland where you can get the attention to detail and the experience you get with the people at the Portland Spirit. If you party is small or large, they will give you the attention and follow thru found no where else. For many years we have enjoyed working with the Portland Spirit and know that they care about their brides. Every event with them if different, because of the Portland you will see as you go down the river with them on your event.
