We hired Steady State Studios for our wedding on 10/10/2020 (they handled photograph, videography, live stream and DJ for us). The flavor of the wedding changed a lot due to COVID. The team was extremely understanding and helpful as we navigated that. They helped us swap our original plan for a photo booth and did a live stream for us instead. With our package we got all of our photos and three videos (60 second Instagram cut, ~9 minute one, and the full live events video). All three were amazing and the photos were beautiful. We couldn't be happier!

The package was customized to exactly what I was looking for, which is a voice over of our vows while the entrance and day of events were on the video playing. They stayed for all the events and captured everything perfectly to relive the moments for the entire day. It was all over so fast, and I didn't get to see what was going on elsewhere while I was getting ready and was in the moment so not aware of other things, so this was so great to watch all the moments they captured. I even loved the words of wisdom from my guests they did and the drone footage. It was all put together beautifully and great sounds, and quality and they made sure I was happy with the product and looked for feedback from us along the way to tailor it to what we wanted. I'm so thrilled with the outcome and will be able to rewatch it for years to come.

Jason and his team were AMAZING! We were extremely picky with choosing our videographer because our wedding was made up of separate ceremonies/venues and the whole day lasted 10+ hours. From the beginning, Jason was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the planning process so much easier. On our wedding day, him and his team worked HARD to capture all the details and keep up with the busy day. He captured amazing drone footage and we are so, so thrilled with the final product. I got married in November of 2022. When I was looking through a couple of videographer vendors, I came across Steady State Studios. One of the major things I was looking for at the time was affordable and someone who is flexible and was able to work with what I wanted. That is what I exactly found with Steady State Studios! I'm a little picky and indecisive but working with Jason, he understood what I wanted and was able to customize a package that I wanted at an affordable price! Since my wedding was off-season, I did get a discount, which was helpful because I was on a budget. When it came to my wedding day, Jason and Kevin were at the venue on time. Very professional and great people to work with! They capture everything I wanted at my wedding and the video came out perfect! My husband and I loved it and my family and friends loved it. I highly recommend Steady State Studio - you won't regret it! :)

Steady state covered the photography and videography for my wedding and they were phenomenal! They arrived on time and we’re very flexible to all the wedding events as they took place. I stumbled upon Steady State Studios a year before my wedding among hundreds of other videographers in the Portland metro area. Their work was beautiful and I was instantly drawn in from their drone work. I emailed Jason, the owner thinking it would be a long shot they were available, but to my surprise they were!
I coordinated with Jason via phone and email mostly and had such a terrific experience. Jason not only listened to my wants, but helped me figure out a way to work their services within my budget. We decided on a 6 hour day with one camera man, and signed the contract. Let me say, I am over the moon with how everything turned out.
Our wedding day came and Steady State Studios arrived early to set up and take b-roll footage of the scene. The camera man was so friendly and kind and made all of my guests feel like he was someone from our family! He had great ideas on shots to take, and was so great making sure he was in 14 places at once!
A couple months later and we got our videos back, it was worth every single penny. We opted to wait out the contract time for return, but you can purchase expedited editing! I was so excited to see Jason's email that I left the gym in the middle of my workout with my husband to watch the highlight video in my car!
Steady State BLEW my expectations out of the water!! I will cherish my highlight video and live events footage for the rest of my life. I can't wait to show the whole family and our future children one day. The editor did a phenomenal job parsing in sound bites from our vows and speeches, with shots of us, the ceremony, the guests.... AH ITS PERFECT! Seriously, this is the BEST videographer you could hire! They are flexible, affordable, and phenomenal at what they do. Thank you Steady State for capturing our day, we do not have enough words to describe how happy and blown away we are at the result

From the moment we booked Steady State, it was all so easy. Communication leading up the wedding was clear and straightforward, and Jason was such a breeze to work with on the day of. During our First Look, we chatted a bit while waiting for the ski lift, and we got a sense that he is very easygoing and professional. For the remainder of the wedding, he blended seamlessly into the flow of the day, and I never once felt like there was a video camera in my face. When we got the video, the end results were spectacular, and we definitely cried!!! He included all the most special moments in the highlights reel, and the music and voiceovers were done beautifully. I can't believe I almost didn't think to book a videographer at all - in the end, it was well worth it, and captured those little things that a regular camera just can't. Stop hesitating and just book Steady State!

Jason was really great to work with. Executing a wedding is pretty stressful, but Jason did a great job of of capturing all of our moments without causing any interruptions or forcing any shots that would distract us from our guests.

The team at Steady State is above and beyond. We almost cut videography for budgeting purposes (we were sticker shocked by some of the other prices we came by), and when we found Steady State at a reasonable cost, we went for it. The quality of the films is next level - we got drone footage, beautiful editing, and we even got to pick the soundtrack. We ended up with several cuts and versions of footage. Jason & team were amazing to work with, and such kind, wonderful people. We just watched our essentially full feature film (1.5 hours) on our one year wedding anniversary - and it's spectacular. It's my favorite moments from our wedding. CANNOT recommend this team enough. Thank you Steady State!!

I came to the team at Steady State with a difficult request -- not only did I want a unique style and cinematographic approach to my wedding video, something I had absolutely no examples of existing in the real world, but I also had a limited budget, due to realizing later in the wedding planning process that videography was a must-have. Not only was the team at Steady State excited about my unique idea, they worked with my needs to identify the package that would fit my budget. The final product was exactly what we were looking for! The cinematography and editing done by Kevin really blew me away and captured my vision in a creative way. Sound and video quality were perfect. Thanks Jason and Kevin!
