Stunning Photographs + Video

We hired Steady State Studios for our wedding on 10/10/2020 (they handled photograph, videography, live stream and DJ for us). The flavor of the wedding changed a lot due to COVID. The team was extremely understanding and helpful as we navigated that. They helped us swap our original plan for a photo booth and did a live stream for us instead. With our package we got all of our photos and three videos (60 second Instagram cut, ~9 minute one, and the full live events video). All three were amazing and the photos were beautiful. We couldn't be happier!

Amazing Job!

The package was customized to exactly what I was looking for, which is a voice over of our vows while the entrance and day of events were on the video playing. They stayed for all the events and captured everything perfectly to relive the moments for the entire day. It was all over so fast, and I didn't get to see what was going on elsewhere while I was getting ready and was in the moment so not aware of other things, so this was so great to watch all the moments they captured. I even loved the words of wisdom from my guests they did and the drone footage. It was all put together beautifully and great sounds, and quality and they made sure I was happy with the product and looked for feedback from us along the way to tailor it to what we wanted. I'm so thrilled with the outcome and will be able to rewatch it for years to come.

Highly recommend!!

Jason and his team were AMAZING! We were extremely picky with choosing our videographer because our wedding was made up of separate ceremonies/venues and the whole day lasted 10+ hours. From the beginning, Jason was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the planning process so much easier. On our wedding day, him and his team worked HARD to capture all the details and keep up with the busy day. He captured amazing drone footage and we are so, so thrilled with the final product. We highly recommend this company!!

Best Wedding Videographer

I got married in November of 2022. When I was looking through a couple of videographer vendors, I came across Steady State Studios. One of the major things I was looking for at the time was affordable and someone who is flexible and was able to work with what I wanted. That is what I exactly found with Steady State Studios! I'm a little picky and indecisive but working with Jason, he understood what I wanted and was able to customize a package that I wanted at an affordable price! Since my wedding was off-season, I did get a discount, which was helpful because I was on a budget. When it came to my wedding day, Jason and Kevin were at the venue on time. Very professional and great people to work with! They capture everything I wanted at my wedding and the video came out perfect! My husband and I loved it and my family and friends loved it. I highly recommend Steady State Studio - you won't regret it! :)

Best videographers in pdx!

I stumbled upon Steady State Studios a year before my wedding among hundreds of other videographers in the Portland metro area. Their work was beautiful and I was instantly drawn in from their drone work. I emailed Jason, the owner thinking it would be a long shot they were available, but to my surprise they were!
I coordinated with Jason via phone and email mostly and had such a terrific experience. Jason not only listened to my wants, but helped me figure out a way to work their services within my budget. We decided on a 6 hour day with one camera man, and signed the contract. Let me say, I am over the moon with how everything turned out.
Our wedding day came and Steady State Studios arrived early to set up and take b-roll footage of the scene. The camera man was so friendly and kind and made all of my guests feel like he was someone from our family! He had great ideas on shots to take, and was so great making sure he was in 14 places at once!
A couple months later and we got our videos back, it was worth every single penny. We opted to wait out the contract time for return, but you can purchase expedited editing! I was so excited to see Jason's email that I left the gym in the middle of my workout with my husband to watch the highlight video in my car!
Steady State BLEW my expectations out of the water!! I will cherish my highlight video and live events footage for the rest of my life. I can't wait to show the whole family and our future children one day. The editor did a phenomenal job parsing in sound bites from our vows and speeches, with shots of us, the ceremony, the guests.... AH ITS PERFECT! Seriously, this is the BEST videographer you could hire! They are flexible, affordable, and phenomenal at what they do. Thank you Steady State for capturing our day, we do not have enough words to describe how happy and blown away we are at the result

Stunning Work

From the moment we booked Steady State, it was all so easy. Communication leading up the wedding was clear and straightforward, and Jason was such a breeze to work with on the day of. During our First Look, we chatted a bit while waiting for the ski lift, and we got a sense that he is very easygoing and professional. For the remainder of the wedding, he blended seamlessly into the flow of the day, and I never once felt like there was a video camera in my face. When we got the video, the end results were spectacular, and we definitely cried!!! He included all the most special moments in the highlights reel, and the music and voiceovers were done beautifully. I can't believe I almost didn't think to book a videographer at all - in the end, it was well worth it, and captured those little things that a regular camera just can't. Stop hesitating and just book Steady State!

Jason was really great to work with. Executing a wedding is pretty stressful, but Jason did a great job of of capturing all of our moments without causing any interruptions or forcing any shots that would distract us from our guests.

Amazing, quality work at extremely reasonable price!

The team at Steady State is above and beyond. We almost cut videography for budgeting purposes (we were sticker shocked by some of the other prices we came by), and when we found Steady State at a reasonable cost, we went for it. The quality of the films is next level - we got drone footage, beautiful editing, and we even got to pick the soundtrack. We ended up with several cuts and versions of footage. Jason & team were amazing to work with, and such kind, wonderful people. We just watched our essentially full feature film (1.5 hours) on our one year wedding anniversary - and it's spectacular. It's my favorite moments from our wedding. CANNOT recommend this team enough. Thank you Steady State!!

Creative, accomodating, enthusiastic team

I came to the team at Steady State with a difficult request -- not only did I want a unique style and cinematographic approach to my wedding video, something I had absolutely no examples of existing in the real world, but I also had a limited budget, due to realizing later in the wedding planning process that videography was a must-have. Not only was the team at Steady State excited about my unique idea, they worked with my needs to identify the package that would fit my budget. The final product was exactly what we were looking for! The cinematography and editing done by Kevin really blew me away and captured my vision in a creative way. Sound and video quality were perfect. Thanks Jason and Kevin!

Great Product / Awesome Client Experience

I could not recommend a better videographer for your wedding. From the very beginning, they were flexible and communicative. Steady State Studios worked with us to build a package that fit our needs and our budget. Jason answered our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. The day of the wedding, Kevin was friendly and professional and we could tell how much he loves doing what he does. He worked with our photographers and used the time he had to get some amazing footage. When we got our videos back, we were so happy with the finished product. At first, my husband wasnt sure about hiring a videographer, but after watching together, he was so glad I'd insisted we hire someone to capture our special day! These guys were absolutely wonderful and I couldn't speak more highly of them!

VIdeos last a Lifetime

Steady State Studios is the best vendor we hired for our Portland, Oregon wedding. Jason responded to every question we had within hours and really walked us through the video process and what we can expect. We wanted more of a home video look for our wedding and he did just that! He listened to what we really wanted them to focus and created our perfect wedding video, and the eye for detail with what he captured on our wedding day will be treasured forever. He offered drone footage for our first look which really made our day extra special. From drone, to ceremony, to testimonials and the dancing, Jason was able to capture everything in a dreamy way. Steady State is amazing! Jason was so easy to work with and was so flexible since we had to reschedule in 2020 due to COVID. My bridal experience

Jason and his team were amazing! They showed up on time and knew exactly what they were doing! They were also very flexible with my wedding date because I had to change my date and usually others charge for date change, so I was very thankful for that! Incredible video!

Wow! Our wedding video was way more than we expected. I would highly recommend Steady State Studios! They were there for us very last minute and got back to us right away at all times. Kevin and Jason captured every single detail of our wedding from the little things to the biggest moments with our loved ones that we will cherish for forever! I didn’t even think about having them capture a few of the important details and when we got the video, we cried happy tears seeing everything. Both guys were very behind the scenes, you hardly noticed they were there and we ended up with the most beautiful video I could have ever asked for. Awesome videographer

We hired Jason at Steady State Studios to film our wedding at Timberline Lodge in May. He did an awesome job from start to finish. He always responded quickly to any of our questions leading up to the day and after. When it was all said and done he sent us two separate edited videos. One was a five minute teaser video with music, the other was a twenty five minute highlight video. The quality and editing was top notch all around. We would recommend Jason to anyone looking for a wedding videographer!

Incredible!

The videographers at Steady State Studios just sent us our wedding video, and we could not be more pleased. All of the people from the Steady State Studios team were very personable and easygoing when we talked everything through, and they were also very respectful of our space and time. We didn't notice them at all during the ceremony, and we couldn't believe all of the angles they were able to capture throughout the day. There was no need to ask for any adjustments to the highlight video; they edited everything so well! Looking at it now, we are so glad we devoted the money to a wedding video. Photography is awesome, but this is something that brings you right back to the moments, and there are things that we never had a chance to see that day. We look forward to keeping this video in the family for years to come.

We worked with Jason Craig from Steady State studios and were very satisfied and impressed by his work. He was very timely in all communication leading up to the wedding and knew exactly what to do when he got there. He did not need any guidance, as he knew exactly what shots to get and always stayed busy during the wedding doing his thing! We absolutely loved our highlight video he sent promptly one month after the wedding (he is a very busy guy!) and we were so pleased with how it turned out. Hiring a videographer was probably one of the best ideas I had for our wedding. I have always been the sentimental type, as it is important to me to document the special times in my life so that I can have the memories forever to share. Since day one, I had been told by friends and family members that their “wedding was such a blur, it went by too quickly” and that they could barely remember what happened. With that in mind, I wanted to make sure that my wedding would be captured so that I could relive that day. I started researching videographers, and found Steady State Studios...I was, quite frankly, blown away with their work. Their portfolio of highlight videos gave me the chills, and I didn’t even know the couples! We began working with Jason, who was very kind, knowledgeable (he’s clearly experienced), and professional. The day of the wedding turned out to be a blur (shocking). From what I remember, I only saw Jason once, maybe twice, the whole evening...he was, no joke, a video ninja! I have no idea how he did it, but the footage we saw in our videos was intimate and from every angle. He also used a drone to get incredible aerial views over the venue...it was gorgeous! Our highlight video was STUNNING. I think I watched it about 20 times on repeat when we first got it! It had the perfect amount of everything (ceremony, vows, reception, etc) to make you have ALL of the feels...it was as if I was experiencing this day all over again. The full-length video was the same, and was truly meaningful as it allowed us to see the ceremony (and speeches, etc) from start to finish. My husband was wearing a microphone, so we were able to hear our sweet little comments to each other...moments like that are why we wanted a videographer. I never would have remembered these intimate moments otherwise!

I cannot say enough good things about Jason and Steady State Studios...it was truly a pleasure working with them!!

Jason Craig from Steady State Studios was from beginning to end very responsive, always answering questions in a timely manner. He was professional and friendly, very easy to work with in person and in writing! He was affordable and well worth the money spent and the time communicating with him. We had many people at our wedding commenting on how professional, friendly, and attentive he was! He was great with the children and the adults, and captured the big moments, while also tailoring the photography to the requests we had made. He was organized and showed up at the right time. I was a stress-mess when Jason showed up since I was not ready yet and did not want to make him wait, and he was so patient and calm and reassured me that it was fine. Jason did not make me or anyone else feel rushed, and everyone had a great time with him as the photographer. Incredible videographers !! I met Jason through a photoshoot for work, and he was super personable and professional. When his team came to shoot our wedding video, (my husband hates cameras), but we barely even noticed they were there - just like they said it would be! He was amazed. Save for a couple of special "scripted" action shots that we wanted to make our video pop, they were nearly invisible so that we could focus on being there with our family and friends. They captured all of the important heartfelt moments of the walk in, the ceremony, grandparents laughing and friends crying, killer dance moves and our full party set up (we had a lot of special decorations) and the video told everything beautifully for a huge emotional impact.
We considered going with a more expensive service that would have been twice as much, but I'm super glad we chose to work with Jason and Kevin since they always maintained prompt communication, flexibility with our video edits, and an extremely high quality outcome. I would highly recommend them for everyone - top notch, very well put together video, and very fun people. Steady State Studios is it!!

Working with Jason and steady state studios was most wonderful. I hired them for the photography and videography and through our the entire process they were uncompromised in their professionalism. Even dropping to the floor to capture my 16 month granddaughter and 4 year old grandson "breakdancing" I would definitely hire them again and recommend to anyone needing photography call Jason and his wonderful crew! Ps. Don't to get to include your vendors in your counts for plates!!!

The first time my then-fiance and I met Jason, we KNEW without a doubt he would be our videographer. We both have crazy families, and were worried it would be difficult for a videographer to capture all the right moments, withOUT being Mr. Obnoxious wedding videographer (you know the type. "Heyyyy what do you want to say to the happy couple???") Then we talked to Jason.

He quelled all my anxieties and fears I felt (spending months combing through videographer after videographer). Our wedding was crazier than I could have ever expected--I actually booked Jason for 2 days because we had celebrations extending into the wedding. Jason was communicative, flexible, fun, friendly throughout the entire wedding planning/day of, but most importantly: he was GOOD. This month, when my husband and I received his video, it was actually my favorite wedding gift I'd received thus far. We were captivated at everything he captured.

The man must have had cameras/eyes everywhere, because he really was stealthy: There were angles and views that were incredible. I didn’t have to once ask him to “go here, do this, capture this,” he just knew. And because Jason was so "behind the scenes," all the moments he captured were organic. No one was posing for the camera or telling canned jokes—he didn’t corner anyone for sound bites and he wasn’t obnoxious. People were laughing, and hugging, and supporting my husband and I with so much love. Needless to say, my husband and I cried a few times watching our wedding video. It brought butterflies to my stomach and took us back to that insanely emotional and beautiful weekend. We are so grateful we got to work with Jason and recommend him x a million.

Notes to engaged ladies out there planning a wedding:
1. Get a videographer. Yes, I know you’re debating on it, but at the end of the day, videos are incredible ways to capture/relive/see your wedding in ways photos cannot provide.
2. Get Jason at Steady State.

From when I first reached out to Jason, the experience with them has been phenomenal. When it came to videography and photography, I was a very particular bride. Upon hiring Jason and Team, I kept sending them videos that were super advanced and trending out here in Los Angeles. We reside here. We were having our wedding in Newberg as my husband is from Portland area. However, communication was tremendously important as all my vendors were out of state back in Portland. Jason would give extensive helpful feedback as to any of the examples I sent him and ended up supporting me with a team of 3 videographers, lead Videographer, Kevin, who was amazing!!! I requested many things and they really did all of it. I already received my highlight reel and I am just in love. I also requested a certain part of my wedding where my mother and sister sang some hymns and they got that to me right away. Side note: I really needed a drone for my wedding and they made that happen as well. My husband and I really appreciate all Steady State provided. So amazingly responsive and affordable for their superb quality of work!!!

They are amazing!! Jason is so responsive through email and made our process go so easy! They were everywhere on our wedding day and were capturing everything. I would honestly recommend them to anyone. They were so accommodating, even after i had changed locations on them like six months before the wedding. Then on top of it, we decided to go somewhere else for pictures. Luckily, Jason knew the area and actually picked the most perfect area for us to take pictures. I cant wait to see how they turned out. It was very difficult for me to find a company that did both video and pictures. I'm glad i stumbled across them. Definitely a great find. Jason is awesome!! Truly! He is a totally a fun and hilarious person to begin with guy and really makes all the wedding chaos of picture taking fun. He did both of our daughters weddings over the last year and everything he did from start to finish was wonderful. His brother Aaron was great too! Jason and Kevin drove out to the Oregon coast to photograph and video my wedding. They came in professional attire, were prompt, and blended well with the crowd. They captured key moments are had great shot ideas as well as listened and shot ideas that I and others had. After the event, they communicated to me timelines of completion as well sent a few sample pictures right away and were timely in their delivery. These guys did a great job with our photos, and video which will be lifelong keepsakes. Very impressed and would highly recommend and use again.

Steady State Studios was wonderful to work with from start to finish! Jason was very responsive with emails and questions both be for and after the wedding. He was so fun to work with, our personalities really showed through the fun and creative poses and shots he got. I had to plan our entire wedding long distance and was nervous about this, but everything worked out great! Jason was so responsive to all of my emails full of questions and he was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond to find a photographer (Crystal Genes Photography) after a conflict arose for the original plan. It was great having both of them there to document the day. Hundreds of high-quality photos were available for me to download with full rights in a very timely manner and I had the opportunity to preview the wedding video and make requests for changes. We are from Canada and decided to elope in Oregon. We were a bit nervous because we could not meet our photographer in person before the wedding, but after emailing with Jason Craig, we were sure he was the perfect choice. We had Jason Craig photograph our wedding from beginning to end, and I cannot say enough good things about him! He was professional, encouraging, kind, respectful and very helpful. I honestly think Jason did more to help me on my wedding day than the wedding coordinator that we paid for with our venue! When my husband and his friends went missing, he went to find him and bring him upstairs to do the first dance etc. (open bar=trouble). When he sent us our pictures, we were very impressed. Jason is talented and all of his photographs were so thoughtfully taken. I am very happy with the quality of the photographs and of Jason's service. Jason was awesome! He was a really nice guy and made us feel very comfortable. Steady State Studios were THE BEST videographers any couple could wish for on such an important day of your lives. After working with them for months pre and post wedding, we can safely say they are the kind of people you can trust that GREAT work will be achieved at the end of the day and everything you said, mentioned, will be heard and considered.

Long story short, SSS and us were halfway around the world from each other, with a 15 hour time difference and they were accommodative, efficient & responsive from our pre to post wedding conversations.

They tried their best to accommodate to our every request, as we were quite demanding! I am Chinese and my husband is Hawaiian, and we were incorporating traditions from both cultures into our wedding! We asked for a drone for our wedding at Youngberg Hill, they’ve not done any wedding shoots with drones before but very quickly found someone to help us/them with it and the results were breath-taking! We also needed them to do a quick turnaround as we were hosting a wedding reception for 250 people in Singapore about two months after our Oregon wedding and it was crucial these 250 people get to watch the highlights and ceremony of the wedding.

On the day of the wedding, they were everywhere but nowhere, catching snippets of stuff that went on in and around the wedding party that was so amazing to relive or watch in our wedding video. Jason and Kevin had in their minds how and what would be included in the final product, capturing important details I’m sure other people would have missed.

I could go on forever about our experiences with SSS but that would take forever! Finally, I would like to express our sincerest thank you and appreciation to these two amazing men for not only capturing the heart and soul of our wedding but being able to take our ideas and their own artistic licenses and create one of the best videos anyone we have shown the video to have seen! Jason was great to work with! He made leading up to, and the day of, a breeze for me and my husband! The photos all turned out better than I could have hoped; there aren't any photos that I wish I had gotten. He jumped in a few times throughout the night to get some shots of us that are some of my favorites now. And he was super understanding about us running a little late for our first look (I shouldn't say us, it was just me that was running late). He did a great job at the wedding, and I would hire him a million times over if I had to redo it all (but gosh, I'm glad I don't).

The thing about Jason that made me hire him in the first place was how fast he responded to emails. He answered all my questions faster than anyone else, and was incredibly personable and nice.

I will be referring him to all my engaged friends!

Amazing people to work with! The videographers were extremely easy to work with - professional, flexible, and had fun personalities. Steady State was so easy to work with, flexible to meet our needs and made an amazing end product. We had the package with a trailer and so many of our friends and family commented how well it was put together and such a good memory to hold onto. Jason and his team from Steady State Studios are quite remarkable. Not only was our wedding video completed in a timely manner, it turned out even better than we had hoped! I have two friends who paid twice as much and had to wait six months to receive their sub-par wedding videos. We, however, are thrilled with the finished product. They did a beautiful job capturing the details and nuances of our special day. Wedding videography was a last minute addition to our budget but I am SO thankful we worked with Steady State.

On top of a beautiful and personable wedding video, Jason went out of his way to personally deliver the first draft of our video to our house on New Year's Eve! Even though our video was sent back to him as "not deliverable" by the post office, he personally drove the video to our house so that we didn't have to wait any longer to view it. I HIGHLY recommend Jason and his team at Steady State.

Steady State came through on exactly what was promised.
My daughter didn't have a lot of money to spend on photography. Steady State
gave us 3 full hours for only $250.00! We got all the pics. over 200 it seemed like. Of course there were some that were not so good and many good ones and many very good. It was nice to be able to choose which we wanted from the link online. Both of us had photo albums made by a separate company.
If you want to pick, and print out or have your pictures printed elsewhere to save money, I would recommend Steady State Studios.

Jason did a wonderful job for us. He was warm and personable, interacting beautifully with everyone there. The children loved him and he drew out their personalities so well, it was like they had always known him. Jason was absolutely amazing to work with. He is extremely professional, yet totally down to earth and makes you feel like you have known him forever. He was so great at the wedding I didn't even realize he had taken some shots until I saw the video! Jason and I had many email exchanges and he was always prompt to answer any questions. He was VERY flexible and always positive. After the wedding we had talks about the video and any changes I wanted (which were only a couple because it was already so terrific) he was able to change so fast and easily. He went over and beyond what I expected. He definitely knows what he is doing! I would give him 5 out of 5 stars and and an A+++ I will actually really miss him now that we are done with our communication about the wedding and video. It was truly my privileged to have hired him.

I cannot say enough great things about Jason and his team! From our very first meeting, Jason's enthusiasm and willingness to work with us to find a package to fit our wishes AND our budget won me over. He is quick to answer any questions, often emailing back immediately. He and his associates are very professional and having them at our wedding was just like having extra friends there (very talented friends). They were efficient, personable, and very enjoyable to work with on the day of our wedding.

We've received the first draft of our video and it looks incredible! These guys put so much effort into making our special day look artistic and real on the DVD. Jason even asked my opinion on the draft and made a few minor tweaks to get it just right.

If you are looking for a top videography team who can capture your wedding and give you an amazing product at a great value, Jason and his team are it!

Oh my goodness where to start. When I was looking for photographers it was Thanksgiving Day 2011 and Jason still responded to my email immediately. From there his ability to communicate and accommodate our needs was fantastic. The way he was able to get his team to integrate the photo and video parts was amazing. They are each their own, but they also tie in together so well and fill in the pieces that's husband and I could not see of each other. So so great!

We watched our wedding video the day it came in the mail and we were laughing, crying, and smiling the whole way through. We were blessed enough to have two videographers, and they managed to catch every moment perfectly. Even the guests were captured in a manner that was true to their personalities. The interviews of friends, family, and bridal party members could not have been better. We highly recommend this business! They also do photos!! Any questions we had before, during, and after the wedding were answered to satisfaction every time.

Jason and Steady State Studios are awesome! My daughter’s wedding was just a short time away and the guy who was going to video tape it couldn’t do it. It was so crazy… I went on the internet every chance I got to search for a videographer. I found Steady States and emailed them. Jason responded quickly and was totally personable, patient and so flexible. He was familiar with the venue having filmed there before. They showed up on time, set up quickly. I had about two minutes to tell him what I wanted but it was unnecessary…he knew just what to do. He coordinated with our photographer and with all the people helping out. Everyone there was so impressed. They totally made sure they got all the key stuff filmed while they were there. The wedding was beautiful and so was the video. We smiled through the whole thing…I cried. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The videographers of Steady State Studios were amazing! They were very kind and understanding to our needs, and approachable too. It was such a relief to have them there because they were very professional; they already knew exactly what to do because they had worked there before. They definitely went above and beyond with their video recording skills and the composition of the video was amazing! The quality was excellent! We are so glad we were able to work with Steady State Studios because they definitely captured the essence of our wedding. They were spectacular! Jason and the group at Steady State are AMAZING!!! They have been super to work with and VERY responsive. Not only did they produce an amazing video they went above and beyond and helped out at our wedding! Jason even helped serve our wedding cake!!!

I've only watched the video about 1000 times, I'm amazed at how little I actually was aware of during the actual day! Thank you is so NOT ENOUGH. I don't recommend business lightly, and I would tell ANYONE that Steady State is "State of the Art!", You won't be disappointed. AND their prices are really reasonable!!!!

Kevan & Jason were very friendly, helpful, and kind to our guests at the wedding. My family and husband's family loved working with them. I was very impressed with the communication barrier because Vietnamese was spoken a lot at my wedding, but both guys, Jason and Kevan, managed to got through the day without any problem. My wedding was a Vietnamese wedding so it took the entire day (12-16 hours) for Kevan and Jason to video for us. Every bride has her stressful moment, but having Steady State as my videography does relieve those stressful moments. Kevan and Jason were on time, very professional, and best of all they take all my demanding with a smile! Hiring Steady State was an excellent choice for my wedding.

AWESOME! We worked most closely with Jason Craig. He was always so quick to respond to any questions/concerns. They worked with us to get our slideshow pics to them in a format they could use, and did an awesome job. We hired them based on sample work product and a good rapport (we figured we were spending an entire day with many of our vendors...best that we like them all). We could not have been more pleased. They were not intrusive in any way, and yet they captured all the important moments. Can't wait for the finished product!

The crew was absolutely amazing! They were all about listening to what I wanted and what photos I wanted. They took tons of photos and video. In the beginning planning stages responses to my emails and questions came within a day of sending them. Overall my photos turned out awesome. I'd recommend them to anyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Jason and Steady State Studios! They are such an amazing company! I loved that I could talk to Jason through email and actually have a conversation, he got back to me so quickly! When the day came, Scott, the cameraman, was so professional and we hardly even knew he was there! When we did talk to him, he offered to stay past the allotted time to finish shooting the rest of the reception! talk about caring about your customers! The crew of Steady State Studios was absolutely the greatest crew ever! They were right there the whole time like a dedicated family member throughout our special day. They were transparent, but always there.

A month before my wedding, our videographer called to see if we wanted to add a second photographer to our wedding. I was hesitant since I already had a photographer, but I agreed. Best decision ever!! I LOVED them, and now we have even more pictures to accompany our GORGEOUS wedding video.

I was a little hestitent at first to get a videographer, but it ended up being one of the best decisions of the entire day. It's so great to be able to watch it all happen especially since the big day goes by in a blink of an eye and you don't get to see everything going on. this way i get to watch it whenever i want, as well as share it with my friends and family. I went with Seady State Studios and they were the best business I've ever worked with. They are so flexible and professional with a great finished product. They made sure to capture everything I asked including interviews of the guests. They then worked with me on the final cut allowing me to choose songs and make as many edits to the video as i liked. They were prompt with requests and i got my video on a timely basis. Like I said, it was the best decision. Steady State Studios is the way to go! you will not regret it. in fact, you'll find yourself raving about them like i do!!

As the father of the bride and of and only child I was very concerned about the videography of my daughters' wedding. There are no re-takes. Steady States Studios did a fantastic job! They captured all the important moments and created a fantastic video of the wedding. Just as impotant, they are quick to respond to any request or concern. They are not just a big cold unreachable business! They understand brides,weddings and families. You are not just another customer to them.
As an experienced father of the bride I would highly recommend Steady State Studios. There are to many things you need to get done and be concerned about for your big day. You can check "vidography" off that list if you use their services.

We searched forever for a videographer and almost gave up before we found Jason. We were not only looking for someone who would fit within our budget, but also for someone who would capture not only the beauty and excitment of the day, but also the the reverence of the ceremony as well. We also wanted someone who would capture the fun and relaxed atmoshphere of the reception. Jason was fabulous! He was professional and very fun to have at the wedding. He took his time to scope out the best location(s) to shoot from. He wirelessly miked Dylan (the groom) to make sure that the sound was crystal clear for the video. He asked around at the reception for anyone who would like to leave a video message for us on video!! He was so flexible and he made sure he captured all of the special moments of the day!!! Although he was always where we were, he was never noticed because he was in the background and very non-intrusive. He never blocked the view of any of the guests and yet, he was where he needed to be to capture the special moments!! Jason was so amazing and we couldn't imagine using anyone else!! I am so glad he was part of my wedding day!!

Our wedding was in November. I knew that I made the right choice in having Jason video our wedding on our wedding day by the way he went about his business. But, I had been anxiously awaiting our Video from Jason. The DVD's arrived today and the video is absolutely amazing!!! The quality of the DVD including the sound is so perfect! Watching the video made us feel as though the wedding was just yesterday!! The edited version is so perfect I am not going to have him change one thing on it! It captured everything and I am so grateful to Jason!! I am so glad that we had Jason video our wedding....I could not imagine using anyone else!!!

I was unsure about whether or not to get a videographer, and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. When I found Steady State Studios, I knew I had found the right company! Jason answered all my questions correctly, and he followed through! He was an absolute pleasure to work with, very responsive to emails, and did a great job the day of. We just watched out wedding video for the first time, and we couldn't be happier! The video quality is great, and it is clear that a lot of thought went into the production. Another aspect that I really like about Steady State Studios is that they give you all of th raw footage. I found a lot of companies who charge twice as much, and refuse to give up all the footage they shoot. I am so happy with Jason, and I would definitely recommend Steady State Studios to a friend!

I have the most amazing video of our wedding thanks to Steady State Studios. They were a pleasure to work with and they got back to me in a timely manner on all of our correspondence. I was also concerned that I wouldn't be able to afford a video that was high quality- well they gave me all that and more. Jason and Kevin were simply the best to work with on our wedding day. They were friendly, professional and got all the desired footage of our special day recorded perfectly. My sister commented that what she liked best besides their personalities was that she was hardly aware that they were there...they blended into the background so that we enjoyed our day to the fullest. Then, we were able to enjoy our wedding day all over again with the exceptional results provided as our final Wedding video recording. Steady State Studios is AMAZING!!

They were the only videography company that I spoke with who treated me as an individual and not just "another bride". I had just about given up on even hiring a videographer when I came across Jason and Steady State Studios. All the others were SO EXPENSIVE and again, treated me like I was just another bride, not an individual bride with my own individual thoughts and ideas. But not Jason and Steady State Studios. They made us feel like they really cared about our wedding and doing the best job they possibly could. Also, Steady State Studio's prices were SO REASONABLE!! You definitely get MORE then what you pay for with this company, which is a rarity in the wedding planning business!!

Also, Jason was so easy to talk with and really receptive when we wanted to bounce ideas off of him. Plus, if I ever needed to email him a quick question or idea it was usually 24 hours or less that I'd get a response. Again, a REALLY nice rarity when you're trying to book/plan a wedding.

They made the whole videography process so easy. They came out ahead of time to preview our site; they were always on time, very professional, and VERY flexible!! PLUS, we LOVE that they give you some back and forth when it comes to your final wedding video! They don't just throw a video together and say, "Here you go...thanks for the check". They actually send you a draft and let you watch it, review it, and give feedback!! Then they use those comments/suggestions to make you your ideal/perfect wedding video!! NO OTHER COMPANY we spoke with included that kind of service. Or if they did, it was a SUPER expensive add-on to an already SUPER expensive package that we would have had to book. So the fact that their prices were already really reasonable and that it included this back and forth on the wedding video, pretty much sealed the deal before I had even spoke with Jason. (Speaking with Jason and feeling like he really cared about my wedding and being really nice and personable, that sealed the deal!)

I feel like I could go on and on about Steady State Studios, but I myself do not like to read long reviews, so I'll wrap this one up by saying I would, IN A HEART BEAT, recommend/push for future brides to use Steady State Studios for their videography!!

After a friend videographer fell through, we were stuck looking for a videographer 2 months before our wedding! I was referred to Stready State through the Facebook wedding community. They were very responsive, willing to work with our budget, and catered to our every need. The best part was they provided a clip video AND a full 1hr video for the same price or less than all other videographers I looked at. The day of was great, friends and family had no idea I had hired a videographer, he stayed out of the way but caught beautiful film. Final drafts of film were sent to me to confirm they were good and needed no changes, of course they were perfect and no changes were needed. The final product was STUNNING. My husband and I are so thankful things worked out how they did and will love watching the beautiful video(s) for years to come. I recommend them to everyone! Thank you again.
