I would give it 10 stars if I could. My engagement ring buying experience couldn't have gone any better because I went to Bortz Jeweler. I went to the downtown location on 7th street and the customer service Matt provided was exceptional. He went through the diamond grading process and showed me what different diamonds looked like based on cut, clarity, and color. He then took my vision and delivered a beautiful cushion cut, solitaire diamond ring. Everyone is stunned by how good it looks and my fiance gets compliments left and right. The price was great too!!! If you are in the market for any type of jewelry, go to Bortz Jeweler!!!!

My fiance and I picked out my engagement ring at Philip Bortz Jeweler's downtown location. We were amazed by the beautiful selection they have, even at their smaller location (I understand their Harper's Point location is much larger). We worked with Matt, who was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We went into the process knowing very little about diamonds, and Matt was happy to inform us of the different characteristics of a diamond, while not trying to just make a sale. We never felt pressured to buy anything or to upgrade to a more expensive choice. We ended up with a gorgeous 1.34 carat round diamond in a one of a kind vintage milligrain setting--my fiance and I still (1 month later) remark about how gorgeous the ring is.

We are so pleased with the ring that we are mostly certainly buying our wedding rings from Philip Bortz as well. All in all a wonderful experience with very competitive prices.
