We are all about light, love, and laughter!
Weddings are jubilant and dynamic and your photos should be a reflection of that joy! We are illustrative photographers which means we combine a photo-journalistic and traditional approach. This combines capturing natural candid moments as they happen, and timeless posed shots. Our goal is to tell a natural story through our photos from the details that are easy to forget to the moments you'll never get back. We are especially drawn to bold colors, bright light and clean lines. Our images are edited to be bright, natural, clean and crisp, with colors as vibrant and true as they are in life.
We also take pride in making sure your experience is personal, unique, and individualized to your needs and that includes tailoring our pricing to fit your vision. We are here to lend our expertise along the way, we want to know all the details including your colors and vibe (we love them all!) and we will help you with timelines, vendor referrals, pinning boutonnieres, fluffing your dress and making sure your day goes as smoothly and picture-filled as possible.

She has helped elevate my business!
I am a wedding stationery designer and I hired Marisa to photograph my invitations suite that I design. I can't even express how grateful I am to her and her amazing work. She has taken my business up a level, allowing me to have incredible photos of my suites for my clients to see, my own marketing, and my website. It was so challenging to try to photograph invites myself, and my fingers were always crossed that I'd get good photos from photographers AT the wedding. Stunning Photos! I will hire back in a heartbeat.
I am a Calligrapher and Designer and hired Peterson Design to create flat lays and a few short videos for my Portfolio. Everything came out stunning! The composition, lighting, props used for the shoot, everything was spot on and really made my work shine. I am so happy I took the leap to get professional photos made because it takes my work to the next level and have already received so much positive feedback. Also, the whole process was so organized and easy to fill out forms, payments, and receive files. I will definitely be coming back to use their services again.

O-M-G Fantastic and Fabulous Photographers
We knew in an instant we wanted to work with Marisa and Tim when we met them on Zoom! And our journey together was outstanding! They were so available to answer questions along the way. They attended our site visit, so they were familiar with the location. They knew who we were and our style by the day of the wedding so with ease and delight they captured our magical day! We are forever grateful for their amazing photos and friendship! Their work is OUTSTANDING!!! It was our best decision to hire them!!!

Incredible people who helped us so much on the best day of our lives!
Marisa and Tim are the sweetest people you can imagine. Back in 2019 we began planning our wedding, so you can imagine that it took awhile for it to happen. They rolled with changes from 2020, to 2021, to 2022 and then after my wife and I got COVID the day before our wedding, to later in 2022!
They were supportive and accommodating through what was one of the most tumultuous periods in our lives. They made us comfortable, they helped us get ready on the day of the wedding, they are infinitely giving and we will always be thankful for everything they did for us.
Now, onto the photos! They're perfect! They're colorful and playful and everything we were looking for. We didn't just want conventional wedding photos, though we did get a number of classic ones that look great and made our parents very happy, we wanted something that felt like us. They also documented everything, from my custom pocket square to my wife's earrings to the invites, to the menus. Over two months later we're still going through the photos and getting enjoyment from them.
We are so lucky to have worked with Marisa and Tim. They were a huge part of the best day of our lives and we're so grateful for them.

The most perfect flat lay photography!
After Marisa reached out to introduce herself, I quickly looked over her flat lay photography and immediately knew I had to hire her. It just so happened I was in the market to have some of my recent wedding stationery photographed and I'm SO incredibly happy Marisa found me. My client's invitation suites were not only perfectly styled, but Marisa also takes the time to photograph the little details that make each suite unique. I now have cohesive photographs I can proudly display on my website and social media outlets. I will hire Marisa over and over again and it's so nice knowing I don't have to worry about styling/photographing on my own and can now use the time I would have used to style on my own to design and serve my clients well. Great work, great to work with!
Marisa and Tim are INCREDIBLE! I wanted a colorful wedding and I wanted our photos to look like our day - fun, goofy, colorful, vibrant, full of love and joy - and they absolutely nailed it. A bunch of sepia-toned photos of us gazing into each other eyes with serious faces would have felt extremely fake - no shade to sepia or staring into each others eyes, I think those photos are beautiful (and we did get a couple beautiful serious ones and some black & white ones I love), but the look doesn't feel like us. I feel so seen by our photographers! Their customer service was also top notch - lots of communication and some above-and-beyond special touches that were incredibly thoughtful. You hear so many horror stories of trying to hunt down or communicate with wedding vendors, and there was none of that here. The Petersons are a shining example of great work and great to work with. I highly recommend them if you want beautiful, fun, vibrant photos and a really nice experience!

Colorful Photos for Colorful Couples!
Marisa and Tim are a dynamite duo that TRULY care about their clients. They don't see their couples as just cookie cutter clients, they genuinely try to understand what their clients want, their specific personalities/visions and they go above and beyond to achieve that. On our wedding day, Marisa and Tim were quick and efficient which kept spirits high and happy. And I mean...their photos speak for themselves! Bright, vibrant and full of happiness! Just like them :)

If you’re like us and decided that colorful and bright photography was one of the most important aspects of your wedding, then look no further! It is an understatement to describe Marisa and Tim as a phenomenal team. They have an eye for great shots, their timely communication and attention to detail are second to none, and they made us feel so comfortable with their planning throughout the process. We appreciated how the Petersons got to know us as a couple and their effort to match the style we wanted. They helped us pick our spots for newlywed photos and did scouting visits at our venue.
