If you're looking for a beautiful venue, a lot of space, great food and drinks, and a ton of flexibility, you've officially found your venue. Having my wedding at Penn's Peak was the best decision I made during this wedding planning process. Deb, the Special Event Manager, is so easy to work with. She was able to suggest things for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was terrific and the beer was cold!Sent on 11/26/2018

Penn's Peak was a lovely venue for my daughter's wedding and I was 100% satisfied with our choice. We were fortunate to have a perfect weather day and the outdoor ceremony view from the deck overlooking a gorgeous vista was so beautiful. There are rooms for the bride and groom with their wedding party to relax before the ceremony. Penn's Peak can hold a lot of guests. We invited 300 and had 240 attend. Deb Biege is the point person for planning and she is the most lovely, organized and calm person. She has done this so often, she does not miss one detail. I thought the food was very good. The portions are huge! We chose salmon, filet mignon and chicken parmesan. Prices there are reasonable and if you have a large wedding, you get a lot for your money. There is a professional stage and we felt this called for a large band and they loved the venue.Sent on 10/10/2018
You do need to hire a separate decorator and the cake needs to be ordered out. So you have to put some pieces together but you can do as much or as little as you like to stay in budget. If it rains, and you are planning to have the ceremony there, you must have an indoor ceremony plan ready and Deb is great at helping with that.
We used the town of Jim Thorpe as our weekend destination and guests booked many of the "in town" hotels, air B&Bs etc. Many said they found it charming and interesting with lots of things to do.
