My daughter had her wedding at Catalpa Grove on November 3, 2025. (Yes, it was a Monday!) We could not have had a better time. From the time that we booked through the final song, Candice was attentive to our every need. She answered all of our questions, gave the best advice and made recommendations that fit with our vision. The wedding party, family and friends rented the cabins which allowed us to arrive on Sunday to decorate and prepare. It was so relaxing to just hang out and do things at our own pace. Candice and her team were right there to guide us and answer any questions we had. They took care of all of the details which allowed us to simply enjoy the day. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and we received many compliments on just how beautiful the location was for a wedding. If I could give Catalpa Grove and Candice a 10-star rating, I would! Oh, and they are dog friendly!! Our dogs are members of the family so being able to have them be part of the ceremony and reception was the cherry on top!

Catalpa was PERFECT for our wedding. Patty was incredible at starting us off and letting us build our wedding exactly as we wanted and supported us as we ventured into something new. The price was very clear, laid out for us, and around the ballpark we expected and was fair for the services we were getting.

Our coordinator was Candice and she was incredible. She was flexible, in constant communication without being overbearing or pushy, and overall just a genuinely kind human being. She met with us as we needed and answered my barrage of text messages on the last week or two as everything lead up to the day helping me make sure everything was on the checklist that we needed.

On the day of, she was in communication with our vendors and took so much stress off of our plate that we got to actually enjoy the day. If she noticed something, she brought it to our attention with a possible solution and let us decide. It was a perfect day.

Highly recommend getting a cabin for the night before and night of the wedding. We only did the night of so we didn't have to take everything home and could just chill at the fire pit, but hindsight is 20/20. The cabins are beautiful with AC, a bed, a pull out futon, a full shower, and the quiet after all the music and people-ing is unmatched. Family loved them when they saw them and said they would be coming up to camp there at times.

And yes, you can dip out of the wedding for a few minutes to get a slushie for your significant other at their shop. (This part is VERY important). Could not recommend the venue people there enough. 12/10
Would get married there again if we could (we're not going to get remarried but you get the idea.)

Gorgeous venue. Patty and her team are absolutely wonderful. So easy to work with and very supportive! I loved that we were able to have all of our events in one place - rehearsal dinner the evening before, ceremony/reception, and brunch the next morning! We also had the opportunity to rent out the cabins for our bridal party, which everyone really enjoyed. I cannot say enough good things about Patty and her team at Catalpa Grove! 1000% recommend!

If you are looking for a unique wedding experience that your friends and family will never stop talking about, Catalpa Grove is the perfect place for you! We were tired of going to the same wedding time after time and wanted a place where we could customize the experience to us. Catalpa gave us a lengthy list of recommended vendors but also allowed us to work with ones we found on our own. From the day we reserved our wedding weekend dates to the day of our actual wedding, Alex and Marissa were awesome. They had great communication and made sure I had all of my ducks in a row for our wedding day. We had a large group of people use the campground sites and reserved all of the cabins for the weekend. Andrew and team did a great job ensuring the reservations and weekend stay went smoothly. We can't wait to come back year after year to camp and reminisce on our perfect wedding weekend!

Just from the pictures you can tell that this venue is BEAUTIFUL, but it’s the staff that made it the best. Our day of coordinator, Candice, was so professional, helpful, and supportive through the entire planning process. She goes above and beyond for her couples.

My husband and I were looking for an upscale camping wedding and this venue couldn’t be more perfect. The on-site accommodations was the cherry on top. It made the wedding day relaxed with only being steps away from the venue.

Catalpa is an amazing venue!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My event coordinator kept me on top of important things all while easing my anxiety about the big day. I highly suggest going for a walk through and let the venue speak for itself!!

I had my dream wedding weekend at Catapla Grove. We rented the building and cabins out from Friday through Sunday. It was amazing to have a long family weekend with everyone for my wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well as breakfast in the morning for everyone staying on site. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a rustic get away wedding weekend!

One thing I've experienced in my venue search, is that some venues don't give the future brides the time of day. From the moment that I communicated with Patti, I knew that they cared for their couples. Patti has been so accommodating and flexible, not to mention the team that makeup they day of coordinators are just as amazing! When I was assigned to Candance I knew that she was going to do what she could to make our wedding day a dream. Not to mention that we were able to schedule a site visit while we were camping up there to go over the details. All around with the venue and the staff, I know that my husband and I are going to have a beautiful vowel renewal.

This venue is perfect for a romantic feel for your special day. Beautiful, scenic views. Amazing photos day or night to take! So spacious, enough for large gatherings. And did I mention the photo opportunities?! This place is PERFECT for them!

Catalpa Grove is the best kept secret in the Poconos! We visited the venue just weeks after getting engaged and fell in love with it. We first met with Patty to view the venue and then worked with Trish for day of coordination. Trish was phenomenal! She was always quick to respond to emails and ensured everything was perfect for our day! I am so glad that we chose Catalpa Grove. We would give 10 stars if it was possible!
