The recently refurbished Grand Banquet Hall is the largest room and can accommodate up to 800 people for extravagant receptions, depending on your event layout and vision. Spectacular stained glass doors and a lavish spiral staircase are just some of the highlights of this ballroom. The Historic Acacia Club celebrates old-world glamour, with a marble staircase and a two-tier mezzanine setting the tone for refined revelry. It has a capacity of 230 guests, so you can gather those near and dear to you in one space! Finally, Little Theater is suitable for smaller parties of up to 150 friends and family members. It has a separate private entrance and exudes theater-style flair, with a stage, a wooden dance floor, and a mahogany hallway characterizing the aesthetic. Tasteful decor, ambient lighting, and a variety of artworks set the tone for refined wedding receptions. The staff provides items such as linens, china, glassware, and flatware, so you can focus on decor and adding creative touches to your chosen banquet hall. The Scottish Rite is a beautiful, antique, old stunning building and they have Chef Hosch and Ann on their caterer list, which is even better because they did a great job catering our wedding!!
We had our ceremony in the little theater, and were able to use the dressing rooms the whole day beforehand for hair/makeup/pictures etc... it was wonderful to have all the space basically to ourselves!!
Compared to other indoor and outdoor venues, the Scottish Rite is definitely affordable and comes built in with character and beautiful spaces to have a ceremony and reception.
We can't say enough on how awesome Mitra was in our wedding planning and success on the day - she was so kind and such a hard worker!! she is an asset to the scottish rite!

As one of the "BIG 4" of the Williamsport area wedding venues, the Acacia Club is one of those rare venues that needs no artificial decoration. Surely a floral arrangement would look good here or there, but nothing is needed to add charm or beauty, as it is built within. The marble staircase leading from the upstairs dining area to the downstairs dance floor is my favorite spot to do a bridal party introduction anywhere, as you can have the men and women enter the staircase from opposite sides, adding to the dramatic effect. Mitra DeBloois does an amazing job of attending to your every detail, and I swear she works 24/7, because every time I'm there, she's already been there hours ahead. There are so many options that can expand your reception space, it's unbelievable. Bottom line, I LOVE DJ'ing a wedding there, and hopefully you enjoy having yours there.
