Robert was patient, responsive, and genuinely listened to our ideas while using his expertise to guide us toward something cohesive and beautiful. He took our inspiration and transformed it into arrangements that exceeded what we'd envisioned. Walking into our ceremony overlooking the water and then into the reception with florals throughout and around our sweetheart table, we were completely blown away by how thoughtful, romantic, and elegant every detail felt. The flowers ended up being one of our absolute favorite parts of our wedding day, and we're so grateful to Robert and the entire team for creating such a gorgeous setting for us.

I have worked with Phil Sammut of Pedestals for over 30 years, and although I have worked with many florists, Phil is truly in a class of his own. I have always told brides, “Just bring Phil a picture of your wedding dress and let him do his thing.” He has always shined—but when it came time for my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding at The Legacy Castle, it was showtime, and Phil exceeded every expectation.

From the breathtaking bridal bouquet to the elaborate church flowers, every detail was spectacular. Before I even arrived at the church, I was receiving texts telling me how amazing the flowers looked.

At The Legacy Castle, Phil personally oversaw everything and created something truly unforgettable. The flowers were so perfect that guests thought they were artificial and had to touch them to believe they were real! They photographed beautifully, and when guests entered the ballroom, the reaction was simply, “Wow!”

Phil also created the flowers for the engagement party and bridal shower at Vetro by Russo’s on the Bay. After seeing those events, everyone kept saying, “We can’t wait to see what he does for the wedding.” He surpassed every expectation.

After 30 years of working with Phil, I know exactly where to go for exceptional flowers, creativity, quality, and personal attention. I cannot recommend Phil Sammut and Pedestals highly enough. He helped make my son’s wedding absolutely magical.

We used Pedestals for our wedding day and we can’t recommend them enough. From A to Z Sandy did nothing short of helping us make the vision for our wedding day come true. We wanted only peonies and they all came to us perfectly healthy and in bloom (not too closed or open). The colors were also right and came in the exact combinations and styles we asked for (no substitutions). It’s been almost a week since our event and the flowers still look good and healthy. The service on the day of was also excellent; Luis and Sergio did a fantastic job. The flowers were delivered where they needed to go on time and well organized with extra flowers for the wedding party. Luis also helped us adjust the cake decorations as we added the cake topper. Luis didn’t leave until he was sure we were happy with everything. We also needed some last minute additions to our order for detail photo shots and pedestals was able to accommodate without any problems. Overall we are so happy with our decision to go with Pedestals, Sandy and the rest of the team for our wedding flowers and would highly recommend them for any wedding or other events.

I reached out with a pretty last-minute timeline, and they were incredibly accommodating from day one. The entire process was easy, stress-free, and even the payment arrangements were simple and straightforward.

I can’t put into words the magical night Pedestals created for my daughter’s wedding. The flowers were spectacular. Everything went seamlessly and exceeded my expectations. Sandy was phenomenal to work with and had great vision and ideas. We were able to create exactly what we wanted within our budget. I can’t recommend them enough.

My husband and I got married in October 2024, and we had an absolutely amazing experience with Robert Hertzog at Pedestals. Our venue limited our florist to one of four vendors, and Pedestals was the clear winner (from both prior brides and our own vendor shopping experience). Robert was so easy to work with, completely understood my vision, has a creative and unique eye, gave us so much value our money, and provided lots of great advice (i.e. Do we actually need flowers on the staircase banister? No. Should we do a combination of high and low centerpieces? Yes. Can we repurpose my bouquet or the chuppah or a centerpiece to give it dual functionality? Yes, yes, and yes). Our chuppah was even more beautiful than I imagined it would be. I loved our entry table, which was made up of deconstructed components of the centerpieces. I did need to be pretty firm on wanting blue flowers in my bouquet vs. Robert suggested I just have white roses, but Robert ultimately deferred to me. Pedestals was also so great at setting up the event and moving the floral arrangements around the venue, as we had both the ceremony and reception in the main ballroom, and the room needed to be turned over during cocktail hour (we didn’t even see them). We would work with Robert and Pedestals again in a heartbeat—truly wouldn’t even consider another florist!
