Peaks View Bakes, LLC (PVB) is located in the Lynchburg, Virginia area. We offer customized cakes that not only look great, but taste amazing. Our shop can accommodate almost any design requested. All of our cakes are made from scratch using high quality ingredients.

Sherry Clay, baker, cake artist, and owner of PVB, has been creating custom cakes for over 25 years as gifts for family and friends. In 2017, she decided to start a custom cake business and resigned from a 15 year career at a local CPA firm. She is a strong proponent of all-natural, true organic eating. As such, our shop strives to use all-natural ingredients in all of our baked goods. We also offer organic options. Our kitchen is not allergy free; therefore, for the safety of our customers, we do not offer allergy free cakes.

PVB operates as a Virginia Home Food Processing Operation under the regulation of the Virginia Department of Agriculture. Our kitchen is licensed, inspected, and insured.

The ordering deadline for wedding cakes is 8 weeks prior to the cake due date. If we have availability, we may be able to book orders that do not meet the deadline.

We can deliver throughout the state of Virginia. Delivery fees are $1.75/mile, round-trip.

All of our cakes, including tasting cakes, are freshly made to order. Cake tastings consist of 4" single-layer, simply iced cakes for $20 each. Flavors available are Vanilla, Chocolate, Princess, and Sour Cream Almond. For other flavors, a full-size cake must be ordered. Our smallest size is 6".
