Outstanding
Our overall experience was stellar!
Our NYE wedding was at Bay 7. It started with obtaining Faith Baeza as our event coordinator. Faith handled everything with professionalism, strong communication, and managed every detail from start to finish. As someone with an event-planning background, I could not have asked for a more skilled partner who took everything off my plate and put it on hers. I had nothing to worry about.
The venue was beautiful, and the food was outstanding! Our guests are still raving about both. All the employees working were extremely friendly, and the service was stellar.

Amazing Venue & Service
We could not be more thankful that we had our wedding at the Pavilion at the Angus Barn! The venue is lovely and offers so many options. We would have been happy with either option for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, which eased so much worry. The food was absolutely delicious and we heard so many comments from guests about the meal. (We got the plated duo so we could have plated appetizers; the appetizers were our favorite part and people raved about how delicious the chicken was!) We also found it very easy to communicate dietary restrictions and the venue ensured these needs were met. Our absolute favorite part of our experience with the Angus Barn, though, was our coordinator, Melissa. She was so organized, responsive, flexible, and detail-oriented. She had a knack for assuaging our worries and was so timely in her communication. Melissa helped us plan and implement the perfect day! While there is a cost associated with such an inclusive, well-rounded venue, it was really worth every penny. Thank you to the Pavilion and their team for such a wonderful day!

The "One-Stop" Shop of Wedding Venues
The Angus Barn Pavilion is a superb one-stop shop wedding venue that I cannot recommend enough. My husband and I were married there in March 2024, and we are still receiving comments about how it was the "best" wedding many of our guests have ever attended. (Of course, we have to agree!) The Angus Barn staff have considered every detail to ensure a wonderful guest experience — from the timing of the ceremony and reception, to the pacing of courses for dinner, room layouts, weather contingency plans, etc. As a gay couple, the staff also went above and beyond to ensure the space itself was welcoming and inclusive. We were also impressed by how many services are included in-house, like day-of coordinator, table linens, glassware, and basic decor elements that other venues would have charged extra for or even required us to find an additional vendor. Now, an added bonus to having a wedding at the Angus Barn is that the venue then becomes an extra special place for anniversaries and other milestone celebrations. We look forward to visiting several times each year!

Top Notch Wedding Venue
I can't say enough wonderful things about our excellent wedding experience at The Pavillion at Angus Barn. Ali T, our event coordinator, was extremely professionalism, helpful, and kind. She guided us through the process and took care of the details so we could truly enjoy the wedding day.
The venue is beautiful. Our wedding took place outside with the lake as the backdrop but it was a relief to know we had a rain plan in place in case it was needed. We had ample seating outside for the wedding and inside for the reception, dinner, and dancing for our 240 guests. The ambience for the evening was perfect.
Our guests raved about the delicious appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour as well as the plated dinner of steak, chicken, green beans, au gratin potatoes, and chocolate chess pie. The food was served hot and came out at the perfect pace for the evening. The bartending staff and servers were friendly and professional.
If you want a "worry free" and top-notch wedding event, The Pavillion at Angus Barn is highly recommended. It was nice to find a venue that was straight forward with their pricing and didn't nickel and dime you for each glass, silverware, and tablecloth you used. You won't be disappointed with the excellent experience and service you will receive at the Pavillion at Angus Barn.

A slam dunk!
There are not enough words to describe how AMAZING our daughter‘s wedding reception at the Angus barn Pavilion was!!! From the moment I first spoke with Ali to book the date, she and her entire team made us feel like family. The Angus Barn delivered in every single way…from cocktail hour to the after party. They made our vision come to life and it was nothing short of magical!!! If you know anything about the Angus barn, you already know that the food was phenomenal! The food exceeded our expectations and all of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. The Pavilion itself is so beautiful and unique, we especially love the indoor, outdoor element. Our guests loved wandering down by the lake during cocktail hour.
Where do I even begin about the staff? They are attentive, professional and went above and beyond in every single way! The team ensured every detail was perfect, from coordinating with all of our vendors to keeping our timeline on track, we did not have to worry about a thing. I cannot say enough about Ali, the events coordinator and her entire dream team!!! It was so assuring to know that, as the mother of the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing; I will be forever grateful for that.
If you are looking for a reception venue that delivers on beauty, excellent service and unforgettable memories, the Angus Barn Pavilion is for you. We will be forever grateful for them for making one of the best nights of our lives, perfect in every single way..

Amazing!!!!
Our experience with Angus Barn was incredible for our wedding! All of our guests went on and on about the service, food, and overall experience for months after. Ali, our coordinator at the Pavilion, went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taken care of while also looking out for our guests and making sure their needs were met as well. I can’t say enough good things about our experience and I have no regrets in choosing the Pavilion for our wedding!

A Dream Wedding Experience
We cannot say enough good things about The Pavilion at the Angus Barn! Our daughter’s wedding there was truly magical—from the planning stage to the big day. The setting is stunning, with so many photo-worthy spots: a pond, butterfly garden, gazebo, fountain—and an indoor space that’s just as breathtaking with starlit ceilings and a cool, comfortable atmosphere.
The value is amazing—so much is included: tables, chairs, linens, cutlery, a beautiful charcuterie spread, and even lawn games for cocktail hour. The venue is designed with intentional touches, like separate getting-ready areas for the bride and groom.
What really sets this venue apart is the staff. Our planners, Alli and Faith, were beyond incredible. They supported us for months leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond on the day of. From setting up early and bringing food for the bridal party, to remembering every little detail (like repurposing florals and rolling the cake table onto the dance floor), they were calm, capable, and kind every step of the way.
Even when I mentioned I was dehydrated, a bartender brought me a Gatorade minutes later—I’m convinced he ran out and bought it himself. That’s the kind of care they all give.
Steve and Van are exceptional leaders, and it shows in every staff member. This venue felt like family. I wouldn’t dream of having a wedding anywhere else. Highly, highly recommend!

June Wedding at Angus Barn
We had our wedding at the Pavilion in June 2023 and have endless good things to say about our experience. The venue is beautiful and versatile. We lucked out with good weather, but the different options for ceremony spaces gave us a lot of peace of mind during planning. The food was also incredible and I am still getting compliments four months later that is was the best wedding food people had ever tasted. Above all else though the staff made for the best experience. We worked with Melissa as our venue coordinator and she was absolutely amazing, very organized, experienced, and made everyone feel comfortable and special throughout the day. If you are looking for a venue space, caterer, planner, or all the above around Raleigh, Angus Barn is the best!

Most incredible venue!
We had our wedding at the Angus Barn Pavilion on Memorial Day weekend, and I cannot say enough good things about the venue and the staff. From the first time we visited the spectacular setting down by the lake, we knew the venue was perfect for us, and the Pavilion with the beautiful lights already installed looked absolutely spellbinding. They were very accommodating when we had to move our wedding a year because of COVID, and our wedding planner Kelly was fantastic, coordinating with all the vendors and making sure the day went absolutely seamlessly. No request was too much for Kelly and her staff – and we wanted to say thank you for the part they played in our amazing day.
