Hiring Indigo Event Design is the best decision we made for our wedding inspired by Chinese tradition infused with European elegance. When Rebecca, the founder of Indigo Event Design, and I spoke earlier this year about our wedding theme, the "four-gentlemen of the flower-kind" in Chinese art, I expressed how proud I have always been about the beauty originated from ancient China. The architecture, the poetry, the art; everything was symbolic that penetrated the past centuries. I always dreamed of incorporating the essence of Chinese culture into our wedding. My husband and I were so fortunate to have someone as gifted as Rebecca leading our wedding design. She brought the ancient Chinese beauty back to life with a European twist using her multi-cultural artistic visions. We also have a special shout-out to her team member, Erin, who was the queen of coordination and logistics. The planning and coordination Erin was able to manage made our wedding day just impeccable. Rebecca and Erin's expertise in designing and planning turned what I envisioned for my wedding into reality. I came across Rebecca’s work with Indigo Event Design shortly after our engagement in 2019 and was instantly drawn to her beautiful designs. Due to Covid, we didn’t begin our wedding planning until 2021. After following Indigo Event Design’s work over the year I knew that I wanted to work with Rebecca and her team. Rebecca was knowledgeable and professional from the very first meeting. She listened to what we wanted and quickly got to work to find us our perfect venue with a beautiful design proposal that is exactly what we wanted. Erin helped us with the logistics, gathering, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, design recommendations, and all coordination leading up to our day and on the day of. We cannot thank Erin enough for her support and advice. She is professional, experienced, insightful, attentive, and accommodating. She listened to our concerns and helped resolve them timely. Planning a wedding for 180+ guests is not easy but she executed flawlessly. We were never overwhelmed at any point of this whole process. Everyone asked me why I was so calm leading up to our wedding and it was all because of Erin’s help! As with any weddings, we ran into several small issues the day of, mostly due to hot weather and had to make small last minute changes. As someone who would get stressed when things do not go as planned, I felt completely at ease thanks to Erin’s quick response and solution. We booked Indigo for full service wedding planning and could not recommend them more!! Erin was our primary wedding planner and I only have amazing things to say about her. She provided incredible insight, kept us on budget (although I took some liberties with it!), and made our wedding so incredibly beautiful and well organized. She was always available for questions over text and email, and her checkin meetings with us always made us feel so at ease and confident about our day. On the day of, even though it was 100 degrees outside and a super long day, the entire team were so focused on making our day just perfect.
