Packin Heat is a high-energy, nine-piece wedding, party and event band serving mid and southeast Michigan and beyond. With years of experience and a wealth of talent, this band takes pride in its ability to fill a dance floor. Their skilled musicians are familiar with a wide range of music, including country, blues, funk, R&B, Motown, rock, and pop, as well as the latest dance charts. In addition to providing an MC, horns, rhythm, and vocals, Packin Heat can supply a jazz quartet for your cocktail hour. They also offer professional DJ services, allowing you and your guests to dance on late into the night.

This band was phenomenal and well worth the cost. Truely are all true professionals. The energy they created at my daughters wedding was through the roof. There lighting and stage presence was excellent. The lead singer has a great voice as does the rest of the band.If your looking, look no further. They ROCK.

If you're looking for a band that will keep your party on their feet dancing, hire Packin Heat! Had the pleasure of hearing them back in August and I would definitely go out of my way to hear them again.

We were guests at our nieces grad party and were so entertained by packin’ heat! They played music across the board from classic rock, oldies and today’s top hits! The musicians were fantastic and the singing was better than most live bands! We danced and sang along and were sad to see the night come to a close. We look very forward to future events where we can enjoy a taste of this great band again!

We hired Packin' Heat for a private event this last June. They were fantastic! They came in and set up and when it was time to play they did. Our guests were very surprised at the quality of the music and the variety and they loved it- said it was the best live music they had heard at a party. Their vocalist was powerful and the horns provided a great sound, something we don't hear much. Highly recommend them for your event.

Fantastic band! I attended a wedding in June where they played. The place was hopping the whole night, always someone on the dance floor. All the members are incredible musicians and play an excellent repertoire from the classics to current hits.
I would highly recommend them to family and friends for their future events!

This band performed at the wedding of two dear friends this past June. I was blown away by their skill, and the lead vocalist was amazing. He also had a wonderful woman singing with him and in her own solos. The combo of the two were amazing and provided a nice variety of tunes.

I especially liked how sensitive they were to their audience and quickly learned what type of music would pack the dance floor. Unlike other bands I've seen at weddings, they varied the tempo and variety of music so folks could catch their breath and return to the floor energized.

We are so grateful to have hired Packin’ Heat for our wedding. The band exceeded our expectations and our guests are still talking about the good time that they had on the dance floor.

We worked closely with Katrina during the planning stages. The response time to emails/texts/phone calls was immediate. The right questions were asked during the planning to help guide us through our choices of ceremony and reception music. The band also coordinated well with the other vendors to ensure that our day was perfect.

Katrina sang the song for our processional (there wasn’t a dry eye) , some members of the band played a set during our cocktail hour. The full band played during the reception with the DJ filling in during band breaks. A lot of high energy experienced on the dance floor with the vocalists joining us on the floor occasionally. Thank you Packin’ Heat!!!

I was a guest at this wedding and loved this band. The dance floor was packed the entire night and they played a really nice mix of music. My music tastes are varied and eclectic and they didn't disappoint. I don't live in Michigan but I sure wish i did. I'd love to hire them for one of the many parties I host throughout the year. You will not be disappointed with this band.
