Experience

On The Side was born in 1990, almost by accident, when others noticed Ron's exceptional event coordination and interior design skills and began asking him to do their events 'on the side'. His background in hotel restaurant and banquet management provides the level of expertise that make his events so successful.

Partners Ron and Shelly have been working together since 2011 on both weddings and corporate events. Both have a great eye for decor and staging - Ron working big with statement pieces and "big picture" thinking, and Shelly bringing the vision to fruition through detail and design. They have an additional 'on call' staff of seven that have been part of the On The Side team now for 10+ years, for large events or where service is provided.
