My now-husband and I wanted a small wedding -approximately 50 people- in southern Oregon along the Applegate River. My uncle lives along the scenic river and we decided that this would be the perfect location alongside the personal, familial feel of being in a backyard/nature setting. Being from San Francisco, we had NO IDEA about vendors, pricing, planning a wedding, etc. That is where Heather and her company An Inspired Affair, were amazing! In fact, she was amazing at everything. From Day 1 when I initially reached out about hiring her to the conclusion of our wedding, Heather was on top of everything. Whether it was a small detail or larger vision, she knew her stuff, was comprehensive, and seemed five steps ahead. I highly recommend her wedding planning services. Her knowledge of the area and her relationships with each of the vendors was impressive, to say the least (e.g. the catering and food, local desserts, rentals, tech, flowers). Even when I spoke to the vendors directly, they had the highest compliments for Heather (and they stated so without any prompting). In addition, our wedding guests throughout the whole evening could not stop saying how beautiful and perfect the affair was (and they have been to a lot of weddings). The entire day was idyllic, ran seamlessly, and I never felt stressed about the minutia of the day. And that is in large part to Heather and her talents. To conclude, our friends are still telling us how fun and beautiful our wedding was! Enthusiastically recommend!

Heather is incredible! Before our wedding: We worked with Heather remotely (we live in the Bay Area and got married in Ashland). She is super responsive and it is a great help to have her help contact and coordinate with vendors who are less-responsive to electronic communication. She was able to tailor our wedding experience to fit our needs and tastes and made us sleep easier knowing that she was thinking of various little tasks that needed to get done. During our event: Heather was a great teammate. It was amazing to have her at the site responding to familial and logistical concerns and coordinating set-up efforts so that I could spend my big day focusing on being present with my friends and family.

Heather worked with me far and above the contact I signed with her! Her responsiveness and ability just to chat when I was stressed added so much value to her services in general. The day of our wedding turned out to be one of the only freezing cold days of the whole summer, yet she still made everything beautiful!! I would highly recommend her.

Deciding to hire Heather from An Inspired Affair was one of the best decisions we made in regards to planning our wedding! My husband and I live in Portland, and we fell in love with a beautiful venue in southern Oregon. I am a very organized person, but planning a wedding from out of town is a huge undertaking, and we underestimated what went into it when we decided to get married out of town. Thankfully we had Heather to help us, because I dont know how this could have gotten done without her!

From the first conversation I had with Heather, I was instantly impressed. She asked so many great questions, many of which I had not even thought of yet and she was very thorough in trying to understand our priorities for our wedding. She wanted to know our vision, and when we didnt know ourselves, she helped us create our vision by asking more questions about what we liked and wanted.

There are not as many reviews for vendors in southern Oregon, so her recommendations to other venders were so crucial! Heather was an amazing support system and sounding board throughout the process. I loved having someone to give me opinions who was not biased and was just there to help me.

Heather is responsive, thorough, detail oriented and creative. She did an amazing job helping us plan our wedding before the big day, and on the day, it meant so much to know I didn't have to worry about if the flowers would be right, or the table settings or the photo booth setup. I got to just enjoy my husband, my family, my friends and not worry about the details. That alone is priceless and we are so appreciative to Heather for everything she did for us for our day.

Heather and Courtney did a fantastic job coordinating our wedding over the past 5 months. Not a single detail was overlooked...and best of all I didn't have to worry about any of it! My family and friends were overwhelmed with the quality of vendors recommended by Heather and how they all worked together seamlessly to create the wedding of our dreams!

My fiance (now husband) and I Iive in Oakland, California, but decided to get married at a private residence up in Ashland because we love it there. Planning a long distance wedding (while I was also starting a new job) would have been impossible without Heather's help. She introduced us to all our vendors and lined people up for our date before we even knew we would need them.

For example, when I was doing a makeup "run through" about 8 months before the wedding (we had to plan some appointments far in advance because we were rarely in town), my makeup artist told me she'd already had three requests for her services on my wedding date that she had to reject since Heather had asked her to reserve the date for us.

Heather was incredibly accessible, and there were times (as the wedding date neared) that we would send emails to her after 10PM and hear back from her within 20 minutes! She was incredibly organized, and my wedding day was completely stress-free because I knew she was running a tight ship. She also had a beautiful vision for our day, and I was blown away when I saw it come to life.

I didn't have a clear vision of how I wanted my wedding. Heather was able to figure out my style just by asking me questions (many of which were met with vague responses). My wedding was absolutely magical thanks to her. I had friends asking "How did this happen?!" because they were so in awe of how all the details came together so beautifully. They knew I wouldn't have been capable of it on my own. Heather was worth every penny she charges, and I can't say enough good things about her!
