Le Mera Gardens is a flower farm situated in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. This is our 29th year farming fresh flowers for our community at large!
We grow an extensive and diversified inventory of beautiful, seasonal, certified organic specialty cut flowers, foliage, branches and berries for florists and DIY weddings in southern Oregon and northern California. We farm on approximately 10 acres, including many season extension high tunnels (they look like greenhouses) and several shade houses to protect our flowers from the intense light of summer. Our flower season runs from late March through late October.
. you dream of making your own flower arrangements for your wedding or for your friend's
, when in season, you would rather handle lively fresh flowers grown right here on a local farm over imported flowers which have travelled many miles and gone through customs in tightly packed flower boxes
. you want to celebrate the season and it's flowers
. certified organic matters to you and you'd rather not handle flowers that have been sprayed multiple times
. you like flowers that are softly scented, unique, spirited and memorable
... then please call or email us, we are eager to show off our beautiful flowers
Le Mera Gardens is easily accessible from the I-5 freeway corridor and welcomes weddings of every kind.

Working Joan and Le Mera Gardens resulted in the most amazing flowers for our wedding. The colors, quality, and variety were amazing and I was in love with every bouquet that was created from the beautiful mix of flowers we received. Working with Joan was so easy and stress-free and she was so sweet and happy the morning of our flower pick up. The flowers made my day and my look as a bride!!Sent on 06/19/2018

Joan was so helpful and willing to work around my schedule to make picking out my flowers a stress free and even fun experience. I had a small group with me and she let us show up after her normal rounds to raid her flower truck, where we found plenty of flowers and foliage that fit my aesthetic. I feel like she might've even ensured there were plenty of options similar to the flowers I told her I liked in our previous conversations in the months before the wedding. Getting your flowers direct from a farmer can save you a lot of money, and Joan is lovely to work with.Sent on 08/30/2015

From now on, as soon as any of my friends get engaged I will recommend this florist to them. She provides organic, locally grown flowers in bulk and will work with any budget.Sent on 07/24/2009
The only catch is that your flowers are limited to what is blooming at the time at her flower farms. About a week before your wedding, you go visit Joan at her farm and browse samples of what's in bloom and make your choices (not as scary as it sounds-- in early July there were DOZENS of types of flowers in all colors). Also, she does provide an idea of what will be available at different times of the year on her website. A few days before your wedding, you pick up your buckets of flowers and can either arrange them yourself or hire another florist to do the arranging.
I wish I could attach a photo of our reception as a testament-- we had a barn virtually exploding with flowers for only $300! She's very sweet and easy to work with, and you can tell she wants you to be happy!

Team of Le Mera Gardens
Joan was born and raised in Santiago, Chile where fresh flowers were abundant and accessible. She missed them in the United States and starting in 1992 set about changing the culture that made flowers a luxury item reserved for hallmark holidays and special events. Fresh flowers and locally grown have come a long way since the early nineties!
Isabella Thorndike Church
right hand everything
Joan's right hand woman is her youngest daughter Isabella who was 3 years old when she made her first bouquet of mixed weeds. Today Isabella is not only a phenomenal flower picker, but also a very skilled designer in her own right www.jacklilyfloral.org.
Cheli and Laura
planting and harvest crew!
And rounding out the team are 2 wonderful sisters who've worked with us for well over a decade. Cheli and Laura skillfully seed and plant our flowers in the springtime then quickly transition to harvesting flowers once the season launches. They understand the way flowers must be perfect for the occasion and well represent the trust that's been placed in our farm to come through for a wedding, a design, a florist, a special occasion.
Joan and her staff are an incredible team with an incredible product. Organic fresh cut flowers in the color of your choice, what more could you ask for!
