I booked Omari in August 2024 for my June 2025 wedding. I reached out to him this March to finalize some details on whether he would need a backing track or not.

But to my surprise on April 1st he let me know he had moved to a different part of the country and wasn’t available for my wedding. This is about 2 months out from the day and has left me scrambling to find new live musicians.
What irks me the most about this, is that I was treated like an after thought and had no knowledge of this until I decided to reach out to him.

The contract was word of mouth so that should’ve been my first red flag. But either way, moving to a different part of the country takes planning and time, so he could’ve reached out to me earlier and given me more time to find someone new. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and caused me to stress even more.

I would not recommended this person for important and special events.
