Simply put, Olive Catering is absolutely amazing. My wife and I hired them for our wedding on short notice after our original caterer had to cancel due to Covid. With only about four weeks to go, a co-worker suggested that I give Olive Catering a call and thank goodness I followed that advice. I firmly believe that there is no better catering company in the greater Asheville area; period. Anne answered the phone on my first attempt to reach out and by the end of that call, confirmed that she could lock in our date and that she had an excellent taco bar to replace what we had originally selected.
From the beginning, Anne’s communication was first class. Her response times were completely reasonable and she was always clear as to what information she needed and how her and her team would be operating. When my (then) fiancé (now) wife, made change requests, Anne was quick to accommodate the change. Most importantly, as anyone who has planned their own wedding will say, Anne made us both feel at ease; confident that everything was going to be perfect. The best part, at least prior to the wedding itself, was that Olive Catering’s prices for a Taco Bar (among other options) was the best in town. By far.
However, the best was yet to come.
On the big day, Anne and the Olive Catering Co. were perfect. Absolutely perfect! Anne and her team were at the same time professional, safe, and accommodating. In these sad and strange times we live in, it was immediately apparent that Anne and her team cared very much for the safety and well-being of all of our guests which meant the world to us.
Finally, the food was absolutely incredible! In all of my 36 years, I have never had such an amazing taco dinner, full of unique flavors and creative combinations! And I do consider myself a taco snob. Anne is an incredible chef surrounded by talented staff and my wife and I feel so blessed that they were a part of our big day. Every single person who was present for our wedding has praised about the food and many of them have asked for their information for future catering events. Absolutely perfect experience.

Anne worked with us for a few weeks to create a menu we wanted with multiple options. She provided several courses and was very willing to accommodate the pasta bar we wanted that wasn't in her normal choices. She also took care of purchasing the alcohol, permits, and hiring a bartender. On the day of our wedding, her team quietly arrived, set up, and did an amazing job! Everyone was friendly and courteous and the food was delicious. The reception went by so quickly that we barely got to eat a full meal, so she provided us with a few packed leftovers, so we could still get to enjoy the food. Highly recommend!
