This one-of-a-kind inn was owned by Pulitzer prize winner, Paul Green. Now, it’s run by Beth and Tony Pendola, who have been married for over 25 years. Since then, they’ve vowed to be a location where couples can make their special day everything they dreamed it to be.

The Perfect Day!
The Old Lystra Inn was exactly the venue we were looking for! Beth and Tony are so laid back and made it easy to plan our perfect wedding without having to jump through hoops! Mother Nature threw every obstacle at us that she could and the staff at Old Lystra made it like nothing ever happened after the Carolina Blue skies finally opened up! We are so thankful for everyone at the Old Lystra Inn and would highly recommend to any brides and grooms!Sent on 04/15/2019

I could not have asked for a better venue to have my wedding at . Beth and tony answered any questions I had even if they were small.Sent on 05/07/2018
They set up my wedding exactly how I wanted it ! There daughter even wrote my pick a seat not a side once we got to the venue. Every vendor we choose beth and tony gave us suggestions on and we were so glad we used them . We got so many complements on the venue and how beautiful it was . I had this vision in my head and their venue was it ! It’s a mix of modern farmhouse with the opportunity to have your wedding completely outside .

We got married at the Old Lystra Inn in September and it was absolutely perfect. The owners are amazing--warm, accommodating, and so fun. The venue itself is gorgeous and an incredible value. We looked at most of the other venues in the Triangle and fell in love with the Old Lystra Inn immediately. The owners were so much more flexible with us regarding which vendors we could use and allowed us to customize our wedding using the vendors we preferred. In the end everything was even more perfect than we could have imagined and we could not be happier. We absolutely recommend!!!Sent on 09/28/2018
