If you need some more information before you inevitably book them, I’ll lay out some bullet points.

- Luke’s ceremony was funny, thoughtful, insightful, and touching. I had at least two dozen people out of 100 of our guests say some variation of the following: “Who was your officiant? Is he your friend from childhood? He was so good.” His writing and message and delivery of the ceremony felt so true to me and my wife, people assumed he was a friend we had known for decades. The process through which he got to know us and write our ceremony script was very personal and thorough. And it had the knock on benefit of reminding my wife and I how much we love each other and got us even more excited to get married.

- Caren and Luke are very, very organized and skilled at communication. They gently kept us on schedule, were very clear and concise about what they needed from us to have the ceremony be a success, and were extremely buttoned up about all the details.

- I promised this would be brief and I am failing at that. Very sorry. Just trying to make it clear what absolute pros Luke and Caren are.

- Luke was a rock, a harbor in the storm, pick your favorite metaphor for someone who’s solid and there for you when you need them. Weird, unexpected things will arise on your wedding day. Luke will step in and guide you when these things come up. He’s seen it all go down hundreds of times. Small example, my ear hair grows rapidly and aggressively. I have to shave it down to be presentable. And wouldn’t you know it, on my wedding day, I cut my ear with my razor pretty bad. Luke stepped in with some light first aid advice. And then reassured me that my profusely bleeding ear would be hidden from the audience. This is a small thing. But just to have someone say, “Hey, I’ve got you. We’ll get it taken care of and also, I know it sucks, but it isn’t a big deal,” is massive in that moment. He stepped in with crucial guidance at least six times on our wedding day.

- Luke and Caren are wonderful people. They were so kind to my wife and me. I don’t want to put them on the hook for this every time, but they met my wife and I for drinks two nights before the ceremony. We had a great time getting to know each other for a couple hours. They’re just good folks. They’re exactly the type of people you’d like to play a big role on your wedding day.

Alright, well, I failed at this being short. Sorry. Luke and Caren are that good. Oh, and go in for the Exclusive Collection. I’m sure Luke and Caren will nail it if you go for the Essentials Collection. But it’s a little bit like signing Lebron James to your team, but not on a contract that allows him to dunk. If it’s remotely in budget, give Luke and Caren the resources to run the floor and dunk. You won’t be disappointed you did.

Truly the best decision of our wedding was having Luke as our officiant! We received SO many compliments not only on how well spoken and professional he was, but also how he was able to incapsulate 10.5 years of my husband and I's relationship into our personalized ceremony piece. My husband even pointed out how just having Luke next to him, made him feel so calm. Caren and Luke are both so thoughtful and truly care about their couples.
