James was truly amazing and we feel so lucky that he was the one who officiated our wedding! From the very beginning, he was the kindest, warmest, most welcoming person and immediately made us feel so comfortable. He even welcomed us into his home, which meant so much to us and made the whole experience feel incredibly personal and special.
Our ceremony was absolutely perfect. James made everything feel natural, heartfelt, and completely us. We felt so at ease standing up there with him, and he brought such a calm, joyful energy to the day. So many of our guests came up to us afterward to tell us how much they loved him and how beautiful the ceremony was! We seriously could not have asked for a better officiant. James made one of the most important moments of our lives feel so meaningful, comfortable, and unforgettable. We are beyond grateful for him and would recommend him a million times over!

Where do we even begin?! If we could give Reverend Simmons more than five stars, we absolutely would! From beginning to end, he was nothing short of AMAZING, and we genuinely could not have asked for a more wonderful person to officiate one of the most sacred and meaningful moments of our lives.

My husband and I were married at Chapel Dulcinea, and Reverend Simmons went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our ceremony feel like so much more than an exchange of vows. He created an atmosphere filled with warmth, joy, love, and, most importantly, the presence of God.
Before we even approached the chapel for our ceremony, Reverend Simmons was already there praying over the sanctuary and preparing the space spiritually for our union. Our family and friends were watching our ceremony via livestream, and even they could not stop talking about how wonderful he was! They were especially touched by his prayers, his welcoming personality, and the genuine care he demonstrated before the ceremony even began. And let's not forget the beautiful music he played, which made the atmosphere that much more special!

But what truly touched our hearts was something he shared with us during our ceremony. Reverend Simmons expressed that he could feel the strong presence of God over us and His covering upon our marriage. What he didn't know was that we had been navigating some incredibly stressful circumstances leading up to our wedding day. We had not shared any of those personal challenges with him, so hearing those words was profoundly meaningful. It was a beautiful reminder to us that God was present, that our union was being covered in prayer, and that we were entering this new chapter with faith at the center of it all. That is something we will carry in our hearts forever.

Nothing felt rushed, rehearsed, or transactional. We truly felt that he cared about us, our love, and the covenant we were making before God.

He gave us plenty of options and examples to build our ceremony, including readings, vows, the ring exchange, unity ceremonies, and more, and he was open to creating something unique to us. We also got the helpers package with AAW which I can’t describe in words how helpful they were. They made everyone run so smooth and organized which made our elopement feel like a wedding.
