The best decision we made with wedding planning is hiring Rachel and her team at Odyssey Event Designs. Rachel is truly a godsend, and I can't imagine planning our wedding without her. Our venue was a blank slate, requiring everything to be brought in—bathrooms, catering, tables, tents, etc. Rachel handled it all flawlessly. She seamlessly coordinated every detail, so much so that I felt zero stress on the day of the wedding (which is major as someone who is often very stressed). I was able to fully enjoy the experience, knowing Rachel had everything under control which I could not thank her more for.

She is also not only the kindest person to work with, but also the most organized person I’ve ever met. Every single vendor we worked with couldn’t stop gushing about how amazing Rachel is and how much they enjoy getting to work with her. It felt like planning a wedding with a close friend; every phone call, video chat, and email exchange was not only productive but also enjoyable and fun for us. We both keep saying how we miss our check-ins with Rachel already!

I honestly don’t know how anyone could plan a wedding without Rachel. There were so many details we had talked about and I had forgotten, but Rachel remembered every single thing we had discussed and brought them to life perfectly and beyond what I could have even ever imagined - I was truly in awe with every step of the weekend that Rachel helped plan. On top of that, her graphic design skills are unmatched—she created the most beautiful signs, menus, bar menu, and even custom napkins that everyone loved and were so unique and special to us. It felt like she could actually read our minds and the wedding, every single part of it, was exactly what we wanted and envisioned and I felt really encapsulated us as a couple.

Logistically, everything was flawless. We didn’t have to worry about timing, transportation, or any other coordination the entire weekend. Rachel had it all locked down. Our families and friends felt similarly that they always knew what to do and where to be and when because of Rachel and her team - which made it that we, our families and wedding party, and all our guests were able to truly enjoy the entire weekend. She is also the calmest person ever, which really helped us feel calm throughout the process and the day off, and made sure our families stayed calm too.

We keep saying, ‘This was the best wedding we’ve ever been to, and I can’t believe it was ours,’ and we owe that to Rachel. I cannot recommend her more—thank you for making our dreams come true! If you want to have the most incredible, perfect and amazing wedding - hire Rachel!

Rachel and the Odyssey Event Design team were an absolute pleasure to work with - we can't recommend her enough.
- We planned our wedding from across the country and at a beautiful blank slate venue (Josias River Farm) that required us to bring in everything - down to the bathrooms. There is simply no way we could have done that without her. She was easy to connect with - always willing to hop on the phone or respond to a random text.
- Rachel is a true artist. We didn't even tap into a fraction of her design talents! She took my inspiration and turned it into a beautiful moodboard that allowed every vendor to deliver on our vision with minimal rounds of feedback (though she was great at managing those as well). She also created all our day of signage and helped us understand what elements we did and didn't need.
- Rachel has such a calm, unflappable demeanor - EXACTLY who you want on your wedding day, ESPECIALLY when you get married in a torrential rain storm. Rachel literally got down on her hands and knees to scrub a mud stain out of my dress train before the ceremony (good news, it worked!). I can't imagine how many wrenches the weather threw in the day, and I don't have to ever know because Rachel and her team handled it all with grace.

My husband and I hired Rachel from Odyssey to plan our 2-day Indian/American fusion wedding at Beech Ridge Barn in May 2022. We worked together for nearly two years and I couldn't be more grateful for Rachel.

Rachel was absolutely incredible for our day of services. We basically left all of our decor in the middle of our venue and by lunch time the day of our wedding, everything was set up exactly the way I envisioned it. She kept our whole party (14 people) on time and organized throughout the whole weekend. I could not recommend her and her team more!

We hired Rachel after she was recommended to us by our venue. She was amazingly organized and provided great planning tools and support while we were pulling our day together! She always had great ideas of alternatives if we needed to make changes due to other vendor constraints or any other issues throughout the planning process. Rachel really shined during our wedding day by helping organize what could have been a rain/heat disaster. There was a thunderstorm headed our way and she and her team were able to quickly move things around to ensure our day was still special. The day ended up being in the 90s so she helped organize making the (great) last minute decision to move the band/dancing outside under a tent instead of inside where we had always planned them being. She also had an amazing eye for decoration - as I had purchased a ton of decoration materials and she helped set up everything herself at the venue - including taking my materials and putting together beautiful hanging decorations that I had never thought of before! I highly recommend working with her!
