My mom had come across Ninel’s shop and had heard rave reviews. After reading other reviews online and seeing that they were all extremely positive, I felt every bit of confidence that Ninel would take good care of my wedding dress. I was right! The first fitting I was reassured by her obvious experience and professionalism that she’d know exactly how to hem my dress. Lace had to be removed and sewed back on and I had a bustle with 9 different buttons and loops to hook on. After 4 fittings, my dress looked amazing and perfect! You would never be able to tell lace was removed. It looked like that was how I purchased the dress. It fit like a glove and didn’t drag on the floor at all. My sisters and mom also got their dresses tailored for my wedding and my brother’s wedding and all came out perfect. To top it off Ninel is also very reasonable with pricing. So happy I didn’t have to spend a fortune when I already went over budget to get my dream dress. I couldn’t recommend Ninel enough! She’s the best!

I bought my dress in NYC but wanted to get it altered locally. So happy I found Ninel -- she did an amazing job with my dress! She took it in two sizes, re-did the top to fit my measurements, added a bustle, hemmed it, and sewed the jeweled trim back on by hand. What I appreciated most during fittings is that she would explain every part of the process with me, and gave me details on the construction of the dress. Everyone at my wedding commented on how beautiful the dress was and how perfectly the dress fit me. It felt like it was custom-made for me and was comfortable to wear all night long. She really did an incredible job and I would take any of my dresses there for alterations. Her prices are also very reasonable -- it ended up being less than half of what another place quoted me. Very highly recommended!

I purchased my two dress from a vendor and then took them to Ninel's to get them altered. Ninel's was extremely professional and helpful. She was honest and the prices were reasonable.

Ninel is fabulous! I brought my wedding dress to her after getting it at a consignment store. It was a good 2 – 3 sizes larger than I needed and she tailored it to fit me perfectly and even helped create a magnificent beaded centerpiece for my sweetheart neckline. The price was reasonable and the turnaround time was fast. I will be bringing all of my dresses to Ninel in the future that need altering.

This woman is a miracle worker!!! I bought my wedding dress from Stars in Avon and they got the dress DAMAGED! They didn't tell me until 2 weeks before my wedding! They told me: "the seamstress at Stars has been fixing wedding dresses longer than you've been born and she wouldnt touch this problem with a 10 foot pole because its irreparable and impossible."

I went to Ninels and she fixed the damage, added cups into the corset top, hemmed the bottom and a little belt that came with my wedding dress, did the bustle, AND steam pressed the dress with 4 days to spare!!! The price was extremely reasonable for what I needed done, I would've paid hundreds more!

Ninel did a great job altering my dress - it only needed a hem and a bustle, and the hem was simple (plain satin fabric). She also had to alter my mother's dress, to which she did a great job - her dress was more difficult as it needed the bustline adjusted and the shoulders narrowed. Both of us were very happy with the service.

I went in to have my wedding dress altered about six weeks ago. I scheduled my final fitting the same day I was there and I was assured it would be ready by the time I returned. I showed up for my final fitting and when I put on the dress I realized he had not worked on it at all since I had left it there six weeks ago and I became very anxious. The dress was not hemmed, the straps were not adjusted, it was supposed to be taken in a little and it was still very big on me, the bustle had also not been added. When I asked what he had done to the dress since my first fitting, he tried to turn it back on me and say this was my first fitting and I had never come here before with the dress (even though I didn't walk in with the dress and it was sitting in the changing room when I came in). When I showed him the receipt he had given me listing the work he was going to do, the measurements he had taken, and the cost, he changed his tune and said he was going to do all the work that same day. I was in complete shock my wedding is less than a month away and the dress still needed a ton of work. I ended up leaving and taking the dress elsewhere since I couldn't trust that he would actually get the dress done in time. Brides please be wary of taking your dress here. I don't ever write reviews but I am genuinely worried this man does not know what he is doing and more brides will be scrambling to get their dress altered in time like I did!
