My name is Julia Brown and me and my now husband David found Julie throughout the wedding planning process and booked her as our officiant. She made us feel right at home when meeting for the first time over zoom and really got to know us and our overall vision for the ceremony. She gave our ceremony such a personal feeling (as requested) and told my husband and I’s story so beautifully really portraying our love to all of our guests. Our ceremony was so beautifully written from our Bible versus chosen to Julie telling our love story to even some added humor giving everyone a laugh. She was absolutely amazing and completely curated our ceremony to us and our requests. Thank you times a million Julie! We are so greatful to have had you with us on our special day!

Julie we are so comfortable, talked about the ceremony, the timeline, and everything, easy to talked to, direct to the point, no questions, no doubts, she’s the one, besides she’s nice and sweet, extra points, she’s beautiful, so I said she’s the one, we are not looking for anyone else, and the charged was perfect, and affordable, She was so sweet, explained everything, how the ceremony, and the timeline goes, she was so committed for what she’s doing, so attentive also for what the couples likes, and gives advices, what is good and what not,

Julie officiated our October 2024 wedding and crushed it. She was very communicative and friendly throughout the process. She helped us customize our ceremony while doing the heavy lifting for us. She was also very responsive to multiple changes we had leading up to the wedding. The day of she was prompt and great to work with.

My wife and I had our wedding back in October of 2024. We planned on trying to contact a few wedding officiants in order to find the best option for us. We ended up getting in contact with Julie Furr and reached out to her first. We did not need to look any further as she was a pleasure to talk to over the phone and made things simple. She did an absolute fantastic job before, during, and after our ceremony. I would highly recommend going with her, as she will not disappoint!! She made things simple during what feels like a chaotic time when planning a wedding!

As a gay couple, of course we had the anxiety of trying to find a wedding officiant who would be inclusive, understanding and supportive. When we came across Julie's website, we instantly became somewhat relieved and hopeful due to her site content and what seemed like a perfect person to make our day official. Then with our first meeting with her via videocall, our hopefulness turned into sheer relief and happiness that we had found our perfect officiant. Julie was organized, professional, caring and totally open to making sure our dream day was exactly what we wanted. Other officiants that we talked with kept trying to fit our wedding day into a "package" or some sort of traditional vision of what they expected our day to be. Julie was total opposite and took our lead and drove the vision based on what WE wanted for our day, offering counsel when we had questions and always circling back to our vision and hopes.
She understood quickly that we did not want a stereotypical wedding ceremony, and that our vision was an elegant cocktail and dinner event with close family and friends ... that just so happened to have a wedding ceremony incorporated into the evening. Julie took time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, using that information to create a story or narrative that incorporated our personalities and dreams with touches of love, laughter and heartfelt tears in nearly all guests' eyes.
