Emily was such a pleasure to work with. From our first phone call to our engagement shoot, we felt so comfortable working with her. She has such a calm energy that makes you feel like you’re not even being photographed. The whole day she made us feel like we were just hanging out with old friends all the while capturing beautiful natural candid shots. I absolutely love all of my photos and am so grateful we chose her to capture our day!

Emily was our dream wedding photographer and she did not disappoint. Scroll through her website or instagram or request full portfolios from her and I think the work absolutely speaks for itself in terms of her talent. She is also incredibly professional and easy to work with. She’ll answer all of your questions and she’s flexible about getting the shots that you want - just ask!! If you have no idea what you want, she has no problem walking you through prompts and getting some gorgeous backgrounds and lighting. We had a smaller, more intimate wedding, and people said she was practically invisible yet got so many shots of hugging and laughing and playing that go far beyond the usual staged photos (bridal party, ceremony, family photos, etc). She was also willing to work with us on price to create a package that worked best for our wedding.

We got married in June, and the Canadian wildfire smoke was particularly bad on our wedding day. Emily turned it into a positive, creating gorgeous shots with a hazy almost blurred background effect. While we couldn’t get her typical sunburst golden hour shots, she used what she had available (some nearby orange flowers) to create a similar effect that became some of my favorite photos from the day.

She can help with your timeline or you can tell her where to be when and she will be ON IT. We had multiple venue changes and altered the timeline about a million times in the last two weeks before the wedding and she was always excited that we were excited and never complained about the changes. She also navigated coordinating with our videographer super well despite never working together before. We loved Emily and we will obsess over her photos of our wedding forever. If you book her, we know you will feel the same!

Emily's photography style was exactly what I had pictured for our wedding photos. She was so much fun to work with for our engagement session- we were really nervous beforehand but she immediately put us at ease and genuinely had a great time. At the wedding, she and Claude were just an absolute delight and my husband and I felt like they were really mindful and efficient with the portraits so that we got to spend time with our guests while getting incredible photos. They captured every single detail of the wedding that was meaningful to us which was so delightful to go through when we got our photos back. Also the dance floor pictures were spectacular! Emily and Claude photographed our wedding so that you can feel the joy, laughter, and fun of the day in each picture and looking at them instantly transports me back. I don't know how she did it, but all the photos were edited and in my inbox the day after we came back from our honeymoon- a perfect remedy to post-wedding blues! I can't wait to hire them again in the future.
