My experience with Mary Kay was amazing. She was extremely helpful and my dress fit perfectly for my big day. My dress was all lace and had a sweetheart neckline. She made it more comfortable as well. When I first put it on there was boning stabbing me in my arms and it was uncomfortable but she was able to remove part of it to make it more comfortable for me.

MK is fantastic at what she does! Total miracle worker! I was super impressed with her work. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved my dress! MK did an amazing job altering my dress. It fit perfectly and I received so many compliments from people who said that it was the most beautiful dress they ever saw. She also made my veil!

I cannot say enough about Mary Kay and her amazing talent! When I initially contacted her, she responded back in less than one day. MK was very organized and set up all my appointments right away, being flexible with my work schedule. She does her work out of her home and has a lovely dedicated area downstairs for her clients and alterations work. MK did such an amazing job on my dress. I thought my dress was beautiful when I bought it, but I did not realize its full potential until MK was done with it. My dress fit me like a glove. I had a strapless dress and it was not necessarily light, yet it felt so comfortable. It didn’t move one bit, even though dancing all night! She made sure that my bridesmaids knew how to put us my bustle for the reception, and had plenty of other helpful tips and tricks. Overall, wonderful experience.

MK was incredibly professional as well as pleasant during my alterations experience. I would highly recommend her. She was also super flexible with changes I wanted to make to my bustle & very accomodating.

My alteration experience was very enjoyable, and beyond thorough. MK is top notch and created a elegant bustle for my dress. I truly don’t think there’s something she couldn’t do or fix. My Stella York dress fit to a t and I danced all night.

MK was amazing! She understands dress construction so well and was able to make my daughter's wedding dress fit like a dream and be comfortable, too. We so much appreciated her practical advice about bustling, the veil, beading and other things we never thought of. Her positive attitude and joy for her work is contagious and will be part of the wedding stories we tell forever. We will recommend her to friends and family!

MK did the wedding gown alternations for my daughter-in-law when she married my son in 2015 and it was such a positive experience that we re-hired her later that same year to do the wedding gown alternations for the older of my two daughters, and now we just used her again to do the alternations on my younger daughter's wedding dress. She does amazing, beautiful work! She is such a pleasant, lovely person to work with! She takes great pride in her work and is meticulous about details. I thought her fees were very reasonable. We were extremely happy with the work done on each of the three dresses! I highly recommend her! Book her well in advance, as you won't want to be disappointed to find out she's too booked up to accept you as a client.

MK was a delight to work with. I took my dress to her in January and had it back in my hands, after three appointments, at the end of March. She was quick, friendly and very affordable.

I needed my dress shortened significantly (I'm 5'1") and had the train removed from the dress. I didn't wear shoes for my wedding and she shortened it to just the right length so I could walk without any struggle. The dress originally had a very low plunging neckline and she stitched it up, to make it more of a keyhole neckline. She offered helpful advice on how to transport my dress, as it was a destination wedding and had lovely stories about other brides she had worked with. I'd recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a seamstress in the Waukesha/Milwaukee area.

I am so thrilled MK was able to squeeze me in last minute to make an adjustment to my wedding dress that my first seamstress said she wasn't able to fix. Even though she was super booked, she was so patient with me and really took her time. Nothing felt rushed. I wish I would have went to her first! She is extremely knowledgeable about wedding dresses and I am so happy with the final result!
