I can't recommend Melissa/MJB Cakes enough! Her cake perfectly matched my simple but elegant vision. We chose a red velvet cake with chocolate chips, and it tasted absolutely amazing—unlike anything I've ever had before. We loved it so much that we finished it off the day after our wedding! Melissa was also a pleasure to work with. We had a last-minute change in the guest count, and she was incredibly accommodating. Her flexibility and attention to detail made our special day even more memorable. Thank you for the fantastic service and delicious cake!

Melissa was able to give me my dream white heart shaped cake that was timeless and classic. It also tasted so incredible. I would also like to add that the three flavors of cupcakes that we got for our guests were also delicious. There was not a single cupcake left out of the 200. Everyone could not stop raving about them. I highly recommend Melissa to make anything you need cake related for your wedding!

We loved our wedding cake from MJB cakes! Not only did Melissa create the prettiest cake, but it tasted SO GOOD! We had 2 flavors (carrot cake and cookies and cream) and it was perfect! We also had some of the mini desserts, which were so yummy as well! Melissa was very helpful when emailing and friendly too! Already can't wait to get a little cake for our 1 year anniversary!

My husband and I are so happy that we had the pleasure of working with Melissa, of MJB Cakes for our wedding. We were drawn to her beautiful cakes and knew we had to have her a part of our special day. We scheduled a pick-up cake tasting with her, and all of her flavors were SO good it was difficult to make a choice (she does offer different flavored tiers.) Ultimately, we chose strawberry and cream, which was a total hit at our wedding! We sent her an inspiration photo of what we would like our cake to look like, and Melissa delivered exactly what we asked for! Our cake was so stunning and absolutely delicious. MJB Cakes is an amazing baker! We got connected to Melissa through family and friends - highly recommend - who use her services all the time for kids birthdays, weddings, and other parties. She created the dessert table and lemon cake for our spring 2023 wedding in Camarillo, CA, and did the best job. We got so many complements from our guests about her amazing baking. Melissa was also incredibly communicative and helpful in the planning process, and even went off-menu to help us create some amazing Italian wedding cookies to honor our shared Italian heritage. What a treat to have Melissa's incredible desserts for the big day - we wish we could have her desserts everyday!

Melissa made the most beautiful wedding cake for us! I sent her an inspiration photo and we worked together to downsize and re-scale it all. I specifically wanted sugar flowers and the ones she made turned out so gorgeous. Melissa is extremely talented and we had so many guests compliment us on how delicious her carrot cake is! She was very flexible when our guest count went down by over 70 people, and allowed us to remove two of the sheet cakes. We also loved that she let us have a different flavor for every tier! She was very easy to work with and her prices are competitive, especially when compared to some of the larger bakeries in the LA area.

Everything from the tasting to the cake on our wedding day was delicious. Melissa was always responsive and dependable. Highly recommended!
