Welcome to Missiongathering Christian Church, we are pleased that you have considered our location for your wedding day. Missiongathering seeks to provide a spiritually nurturing environment for your special day, as well as facilitate in your wedding coordination.

We are an Open and Affirming church and as such are very comfortable hosting and officiating LGBQT+ weddings. Missiongathering seeks to follow the way of Jesus as exemplified in the Holy Scriptures, along with a willingness to re-imagine tradition, accept the diversity of humanity, emphasize social justice, and caring for God’s creation.

Our campus features a stunning Mid-Century Modern Sanctuary, designed by renowned Pasadena architect John Galbraith in 1967. The focal point of our Sanctuary is a striking two-story stained-glass window that allows colorful natural light into the space. Our Sanctuary also features its original pipe organ and pews that are surrounded by some of the most beautiful stained glass works of art in Los Angeles County, all of which are kept in mint condition.

You may choose to use Missiongathering's wedding officiant, or you can provide your own for the ceremony. If you would like the services of Missiongathering's wedding officiant, she/he will be present at the rehearsal and provide two sessions of premarital counseling before the wedding.

Missiongathering Christian Church has excellent acoustics and a fully functional pipe organ. However, the music accompaniment for your wedding is your choice. Please note that Missiongathering can provide an organist or audio technician for an additional charge.
