Facilities and Capacity
This quaint and welcoming locale is situated amid Upland’s peaceful, tree-lined streets. This wood-shingled building’s bell tower contains the iron ship bell from the USS Mattaponi, loaned by the Naval Historical Center in Washington, DC. This historic piece is rung for Chapel couples as they make their grand exit. Three stained-glass windows, period furnishings, and a vaulted ceiling help to create a truly romantic atmosphere for wedding ceremonies.
Services Offered
Fleur de Lis Chapel is available to host wedding ceremonies with options for indoor or uncovered outdoor events. Service is available through all-inclusive packages that include exclusive use of the Chapel and adjacent gardens, get-ready rooms, and event rentals. Couples may also expect time for a rehearsal and the services of an on-site wedding director and assistance for their wedding day and rehearsal. Packages can accommodate intimate gatherings of up to 50 guests or more expansive events of up to 150 guests. You may also avail of the services of clergy and a harpist for your exchange of vows. Abundant complimentary parking and wheelchair-accessible features are available on site for the convenience and comfort of all guests.
History
The building which is now the Chapel and a California State Historic Building was originally constructed as Saint Mark's Episcopal Church. As this church’s congregation grew, they sought a new location and left the building to the Chaffey Communities Cultural Center. In 1966, the whole building was moved to its current location, divided into three sections for the journey, and served as a museum. Arson in 1987 temporarily closed this museum but it reopened in 1990 with community support. Since 1993, this venue has hosted weddings as the Fleur de Lis Chapel.

Best Little Gem in the I.E.
For starters, the chapel is an ornate historical building -- it's more than 100 years old -- with a cool bell tower, beautiful chandelier and well-maintained wooden benches.
The chapel staffers, especially Jennifer Maglio and Denise Doll, were super helpful throughout the process. They walked us patiently through the preparations. They were on top of every detail: the guest book table, the unity candle lighting, the aisle decorations, the music and our walking out following the pronouncement.
Jennifer even helped us navigate our separate arrivals so the groom would not accidentally catch a glimpse of the bride before the ceremony.
We both highly recommend Fleur de Lis.

Amazing experience! Beautiful Chapel.
*the only thing I wish we did not feel rushed to finish our pictures in the back garden. I understand the staff had to go but we didn’t and weren’t going to take much longer. Having staff standing in the back w us felt a little rushed for our pictures.
Again we loved our experience. Just a side note. Other than that. We are married and the coordinators were absolute miracle workers! ❤️
