Facilities and Capacity
With nine different indoor and outdoor areas, you and your sweetheart can find the best combination of spaces for the vibe of your wedding. Indoor options include the Spanish-mission-style, 2-story Visitor Center lobby and the Mission Room banquet hall with adjoining entry lobby. Classrooms and a boardroom serve as ideal getting-ready spots for the wedding party, and they’re also great places to keep the kids content and entertained until the fun starts. A 125-seat theatre is also available. Outdoors, choose between the enclosed courtyard with fountain -- great for small ceremonies or cocktail lounges -- or the “paseo” area leading up to the "portal" to the 17th-century living history museum.
The Mission Room features impressive, vaulted ceilings and can hold 150 to 250 family and friends for an elegant reception. Total capacity of all spaces is 300 or more.
Mission San Luis' heritage is that of a blended community of Apalachee Indians and Spanish newcomers that lived together at the site more than 300 years ago. From 1656 to 1704, Mission San Luis served as the principal village of the Apalachees and was the Spaniards' westernmost capital.

Ohhh Mission San Luis! What a special place this is! It's truly Tallahassee's hidden gem and one of our favorite venues to photograph a wedding at. They have a huge dressing area for the bride and groom, beautiful historic grounds to take photos around, and a brand new ballroom and hall perfect for your ceremony or reception. It's the best of both worlds, and their staff is also second to none!
