Founder Nate Long launched AMPLIFY in 2006 with the intent of building personalized experiences and playlists coupled with a high-energy and fun vibe that used to be reserved for live bands. Since then, Nate and his team have delivered excellent customer service to couples, from initial consultations and contract signings to the big day itself, focusing on every detail big or small. This DJ company customizes its services according to the unique personalities of each couple they work with in unique ways to create unforgettable weddings and events.

Nate and his team of personable, detail-oriented DJs can provide MC services and several of their entertainers also speak Spanish. Throughout the reception, you and your loved ones will be able to make song requests through your phones for a seamless experience. If you’re dreaming of a live violinist, full-string quartet, or anything in between, this business has you covered. They are happy to provide background music for ceremonies and cocktail hours in addition to lively reception setlists. The team can also supply dance floors of various styles to fit your venue’s atmosphere. Additional event items such as photo booths, uplighting, monogram lighting, and more are also offered. As a classically trained musician, I couldn't have selected better musicians for our string trio; they played so beautifully and nailed all of our very specific requests - Our guests were thrilled with the live musicians.
Everyone thinks of the dancefloor when it comes to the DJ, but they do so, so much more. Todd (our DJ) had our Pastor's levels perfect with the lavalier mic and also with the wireless mic for my father's blessing of the meal. Being familiar with our venue, we left the lighting decisions up to Todd - His color and placement selections lit the room beautifully. He set-up our telephone audio guest book and directed our guests to leave us messages at various times throughout the night. He truly partnered with our wedding planner (A Piece of Cake Event Planning) to ensure every transition and our entire itinerary ran smoothly; he was an effective MC the entire time.
Leading-up to our wedding, it was incredibly easy to collaborate with Todd via Spotify, discovering our musical tastes for the cocktail hour, for dinner, for the cake cutting, for the dancefloor; literally every moment, curated together. And yes, he kept the dancefloor going! We had probably a 50/50 crowd of dancers vs socializers and it worked-out perfectly, how Todd had the room balanced with the dancefloor thumping and yet socializers across the room could still talk and enjoy the atmosphere.
We couldn't be happier with AMPLIFY and our entire experience - We are forever grateful for their professional expertise and execution!

DJ CJ was an absolute joy to work with. She played the best tunes and had amazing energy and crowd interactions. We had so much fun dancing the night away. Every moment felt seamless, from the ceremony music to the last dance. Guests are still talking about how much fun they had!
