Wes Sewell has been taking photographs in South Georgia since his college days at Valdosta State University (BFA in art, 1997; BBA in management, 1990). Since opening Wes Sewell Photography, he has been voted Best Photographer 2008-2010 and 2013-2014. His work has been featured by the website for National Geographic and on The Steve Harvey Show and an upcoming series on VH1. His photographs have been selected for the Colson calendar and have received honorable mention at Spring into Art held at The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts. Since 2010, capturing the antics of his twin boys, Tucker and Parker, consumes much of his personal time. The Turner Center for the Arts, a non-profit organization located in Valdosta, GA, contains six beautiful art galleries and a state-of-the-art kitchen. Over the past year, the Center has been the premium location for 20+ private receptions. Inside the building, there are two main galleries ideal for wedding receptions. The Center can accommodate receptions featuring hors d’oeuvres or seated dinners. The Center has the perfect space for either a band or a disc jockey with ample dancing room. At the exterior entrance two large fountains are surrounded by greenery. The evening ambience created by fountains and tree lights creates a romantic mood for arriving guests, and this area can accommodate a small reception or provide the perfect addition to the inside reception.
