AMPLIFY was so wonderful to work with - From our introductory call with Nate all the way thru to the end of our wedding reception, it was an absolute pleasure to work with this organization!
Using robust and highly detailed questionnaires throughout the planning process, AMPLIFY guided us thru curating every moment of our celebration.
As a classically trained musician, I couldn't have selected better musicians for our string trio; they played so beautifully and nailed all of our very specific requests - Our guests were thrilled with the live musicians.
Everyone thinks of the dancefloor when it comes to the DJ, but they do so, so much more. Todd (our DJ) had our Pastor's levels perfect with the lavalier mic and also with the wireless mic for my father's blessing of the meal. Being familiar with our venue, we left the lighting decisions up to Todd - His color and placement selections lit the room beautifully. He set-up our telephone audio guest book and directed our guests to leave us messages at various times throughout the night. He truly partnered with our wedding planner (A Piece of Cake Event Planning) to ensure every transition and our entire itinerary ran smoothly; he was an effective MC the entire time.
Leading-up to our wedding, it was incredibly easy to collaborate with Todd via Spotify, discovering our musical tastes for the cocktail hour, for dinner, for the cake cutting, for the dancefloor; literally every moment, curated together. And yes, he kept the dancefloor going! We had probably a 50/50 crowd of dancers vs socializers and it worked-out perfectly, how Todd had the room balanced with the dancefloor thumping and yet socializers across the room could still talk and enjoy the atmosphere.

Miggy and AMPLIFY are the absolute best!
From the initial booking to our final check-in, we received valuable insight on wedding timelines, speeches, and parts of the wedding day that could easily be overlooked.
Before our final check-in, Miggy shared with us a ceremony and a reception questionnaire. These questionnaires ensured we captured all the important beats of the wedding and their accompanying songs. And Miggy helped guide us through the parts we weren't sure about. After the final check-in, Miggy maintained great responsiveness leading up to the wedding day.
Miggy arrived with plenty of time for set up, so when the wedding party arrived before the ceremony, everything was already set up and ready to go. He used a lapel mic for the officiant and me, and he ensured it was positioned in a way that minimized its visibility on camera while still picking up everything for the guests to hear.
During cocktail hour and dinner, Miggy did a great job as our MC and guided guests on where they needed to be, reminded them to sign the guestbook, and so much more - all in both English and Spanish!
And once the dancing started, it did not stop! We gave Miggy the fun challenge of blending Colombian, South African, and US music, and wow, did he deliver! So much so that our guests have made sure to tell us multiple times after the wedding how much fun they had. Even the people we least expected on the dance floor were out there dancing with my wife and me.
What I think I appreciated the most about Miggy and AMPLIFY was their attention to detail. For example, Miggy tailored the song selections for the Hora Loca to the Colombian crowd, and that was crucial in making it one of the highlights of the night! And another instance, Miggy kept a close eye on the radar as small rain clouds approached during cocktail hour and worked with our coordinator so we could perfectly time our outdoor first dance with the weather.
Overall, the music knowledge, DJ skills, knowing how to match the crowd’s energy, and professionalism made Miggy the best wedding DJ we could have ever hoped for!

Our experience with AMPLIFY was out of this world! From the attention to detail, to the willingness to bring surprises and dreams to life, it was such a seamless and FUN experience. The most awesome wedding DJ in Tallahassee!
AMPLIFY is the best wedding/entertainment company in Tallahassee! The initial consult with Nate was so helpful. He is very familiar with the wedding venues in Tallahassee including Lewiswood Farm, so he was able to give us an accurate expectation of what they would be able to offer. They have many packages and add-ons for their services which is great, and Nate had great recommendations for what to select for our venue. There is an option to select a DJ, but we opted for a random match and we are so grateful that we did! We were matched with DJ Gary and he was absolutely incredible. He was so detailed during our consult and truly understood the music vibe we were going for. Gary made sure that everyone was having the best time and everyone is still talking about how great the music was, and how it was the best wedding ever! The playlist he created for our wedding and reception was perfect and we didn't want the night to end! I will choose AMPLIFY for any events we hold in the future, and you should too! I cannot speak highly enough of Nate and Amplify. Our wedding was as close to perfect as it could possibly be, largely because of Nate. I am positive all of his DJ's are wonderful but I am so thankful we put dibs on him specifically. He had the best energy, read our crowd so well and kept the party going the entire night! Small Wedding, Big Impact
Nate and the talented team at Amplify took my daughter's small wedding and brought the polish. Two violins played as guests gathered, then played processional music, had everyone in a lovely state of mind. They continued with classic takes on modern music and classical music through dinner. Then our great DJ stepped in and carried us through all the fun and dancing! Our happy couple were extremely happy with the reception and this team.

I had DJ Nate for my wedding and it was by far the best decision. Starting with the video chat consultations it was very easy to schedule and he was very informative and welcoming. Nate truly took so much off my plate so I could enjoy my wedding and not stress about the small details. Truly so much more than just a DJ. But of course the main part was the music and energy. Even though I was exhausted from a full day of wedding prep and the event he kept the party going and I was even able to get me back onto the dance floor full of life. You won’t find a better DJ experience!

They did a fantastic job for our wedding. We hired them to be our DJ, and they were fantastic from start to finish. The planning process was easy. I didn't want to have to create my own playlists, just give them ideas of what we liked and didn't like and Sierra took it from there. Our guests said afterward that the music was great all night long and it was one of the most fun weddings they've been to. I would highly recommend them for any event that you are having! First off, I wanted to say that picking a DJ for our wedding was no easy check off list item for us. We met with a few dj’s in the area who were very prescriptive with their formula and wanted to have full control of the mix of songs. To us it was extremely important to have a DJ that was well versed in all genres and could really bring it to a diverse audience. When we finally met with Amplify we knew they were the one. From the start, Miggy was nothing less than exceptional. From our intro calls to our check in calls, he was super thorough, very attentive to detail and extremely communicative with us throughout the process. He worked with us to really understand the vibe and feel we wanted for our big day while collaborating with our chosen songs and adding his Miggy flair. Our guests had so much fun- it was a night to remember! We totally could have kept dancing but we sadly had to turn in the venue. Miggy was upbeat, enthusiastic, charismatic and interactive with the crowd. We feel beyond blessed that we were able to find him and have him DJ and MC our wedding. If I could give them 100 stars I would!!! Amplify DJs, specifically Nate, was without a doubt one of the best vendors we had for our wedding. Nate was our DJ and boy did he deliver!! Before we even hired Nate he didn't know that he was already apart of our story because my husband asked me to dance on the dance floor of a wedding Nate was DJing. When we told him that story at our first meeting he was beyond excited to be apart of our story and to DJ our wedding. He even told the story at our wedding as a surprise to us which was such a sweet and special surprise.
Their communication and professionalism is top notch, and they truly want to deliver the experience you and your partner specifically want for your wedding. We asked for a party vibe, to never leave the dance floor, and we sure didn't leave it once because the music and dancing was too good! Nate jumped into the crowd to sing with us multiple times which was SO FUN and he even had a little bride vs groom battle which was such a fun surprise and gave us some of the best core memories we will ever have. They make sure you fill out a long form to get exactly what you do or don't want for your wedding. We didn't even give Nate much direction on music selection beyond genres and yet the songs he picked were perfect for our vibe! He even edited my ceremony music to include my favorite parts of the song I walked down the aisle to. You want them as your DJ, trust me! Some of our favorite memories will be from this dance floor. I can't say enough good things about our experience with Amplify!

We were so very pleased with Amplify during every stage of our wedding, from planning to day of! Communication was efficient and informative, and all inquiries were handled very professionally. We were married in our backyard and since that wasn't a venue the company had experience with, I requested that our DJ come by prior to the wedding to do a walk through and make sure the floorplan I'd created would work for him. They were very flexible to that request and our DJ, Todd, showed up to our house on time and ready to take notes on what we were expecting on our wedding night. Everything we talked about was honored and Todd did a great job using my few song requests to fill in the rest of the night with like music-- it was perfect! In addition, Todd did a wonderful job reading the room and adjusting the music as he saw fit which was one of my main requests. I would recommend them to everyone over and over again. If there is ever another event that I require a DJ, I'll definitely be reaching out to Nate/Todd again!

We initially booked amplify (specifically Nate) from word-of-mouth reviews, and he was worth every penny and more!! Nate truly went above and beyond for our wedding, making sure the music and energy was exactly what we had hoped for. He provides a lengthy questionnaire for you to fill out and a meeting prior to your event to ensure you're both on the same page. I came across Amplify when I was searching for DJs local to our venue as we were getting married out of state. After our first phone call to discuss packages, without a doubt knew we picked the right company! The phone call was fun, very informative, professional and pumped us up for the big day! After discussing our vision, Dexter who also goes by Black Tarzan was recommended. He absolutely brought the energy and party by joining us on the dance floor, running around the reception and I think I saw him standing on a chair at one point! By the end of the night him and his wife felt like family and we were so thankful he was our DJ. We also included the audio guest book in our package and it was a hit! We can’t wait to hear our messages from family and friends! If you’re looking for a DJ company and more you absolutely cannot go wrong with Amplify and Dexter!

Best Night Ever!
Amplify was our DJ at our wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased with their quality of work and professionalism. From start to finish they worked closely with us to create a night we are still so in love with. From the DJ, Sierra, quick responses to questions, and the playlist, it couldn’t have been better. Amplify helped make our wedding the best night of our lives. They aced the intermixing of languages and various genre tastes to make an exceptional blend of music we loved and songs that bridged the gap between the diverse cultures. I wholeheartedly thank them for their hard work and the love they poured into our night. You can tell they really care about their clients and are just easy people to work. Even when I had a few changes the night before, Sierra was so encouraging and rolled with it. Forever grateful we made the wise decision and went with Amplify!

So lucky to have worked with AMPLIFY
We are sooo lucky to have found Amplify. Getting connected with them from the introductory phone call to the check in call 2 weeks before the wedding was super easy. We loved that they have their own playlists on their site to show their music taste. My wife and I have a very versatile music taste and we really wanted to work with someone who was the same (and also equally loving to The 1975 as we are). After looking through the site, we found that Nate would be the perfect fit. Nate was very accessible throughout the whole process, checking in multiple times leading up to the wedding. Amplify also had the best wedding packages available by far, in terms of quality and price. Nate and Sir made our wedding the absolute dream, with their fun and interactive energy as well as reading the crowd for all the perfect moments. Nate put together the most perfect playlist with his own tie in that kept everyone on the dance floor. Every guests' first comments were how amazing our DJ's were and no one wanted the night to end (you can see in the photos attached!). We are so grateful to Amplify and would recommend to anyone!

We were pretty torn when it came to deciding on a DJ. We had met with another company before Amplify and we were kind of set on going with them (I work as an event planner and love to give back to those who use me) but I am so glad that we did not. I filled out a form and didn't really know who we were going to meet with but it ended up being Nate. My now husband was IN LOVE with him and his personality and I loved how energetic he was. We went a very different route when it came to the wedding and Nate did not seem to have any issues with that. Our guests LOVED him and my mom, who is super picky, was very happy with him. He even threw out a drinking game, that we had no idea about, and was so much fun. He jumped in with us and danced and took pictures. We had asked for a party theme and a party DJ and he did not disappoint at all. I want to have another party just so we can hire him again.

We hired Amplify for our spring wedding & they were amazing!!! The booking process is very clear and to the point. Nate answered all questions quickly and thoroughly. If you hate reading long, drawn-out reviews, just know Amplify is the DJ service you want to go with, and you will not regret it.
Now for the long-winded review. Before starting, just know our wedding consisted of Rugby players and cops (degenerates).
I was lucky enough to get a recommendation from a friend about Nate's DJ company for my wedding. Once you decide on his company, you have a couple of small questionnaires. Including questions such as how much attention you want, what percentage of people at the wedding will be dancing, and the most critical question, if I (the DJ) walk into the bathroom and find someone passed out on the floor, who should I go to.
After the questionnaires, you get to look at the portfolio of different DJs, including Nate, and pick your top 3 (we lucked out and got Nate). Each DJ has a profile showing songs they like and what kind of wedding vibe they work best with.
Wedding day. I would never say our wedding went off without a single hiccup, but Nate was definitely not one of them. Once the reception started, he kept everything flowing smoothly. Even rolling with a surprise shoe game request with ease.
Nate showed how truly professional he is when my best man started his speech with "(my name) is an asshole." As soon as he heard these words, he immediately looked to my wife, waiting for the signal to cut his mic. Luckily she had no problem with his speech.
Nate had plenty of other moments that helped make our special day unforgettable. Still, I would hate to ruin anything for the next lucky couple.
10/10 would recommend him for any party, wedding or event!

Amplify went above and beyond our expectations. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Nate was an excellent communicator. He responded to emails quickly and had lots of great advice. Cory was the DJ we selected for our wedding. She was so amazing! She read the room well and knew when to play upbeat songs and slower songs. We did not have a wedding coordinator and she really stepped up and made sure events went exactly as we wanted to. She was flexible that evening and gave me the opportunity to change my mind on a few things day of. I cannot recommend Amplify enough!

Amplify did a phenomenal job DJing our wedding. Nate Long was a phenomenal administrator, taking time to meet with us and discuss our needs, as well as following up with a multitude of helpful information. Cory Zapata, our DJ, crushed it. She was SO pleasant to work with, matched our reception vibe like a pro, had impeccable timing and intuition, and really took the reigns at the reception, allowing us to sit back and enjoy our wedding reception. Particularly, Cory was SUPER flexible. My wife and I were in a car accident on our way to the reception (our party bus was t boned by another driver), and Cory kept things rolling SO well. Didn't miss a beat, and despite losing an hour of time at the reception, still managed to fit all of our "must play" songs. She communicated flawlessly with photographers, videographers, and caterers, all with professional flair.
We can't recommend Amplify enough. If you need DJ's, this is who you want.

Wonderful Experience
We hired AMPLIFY very soon after having a zoom meeting with Nate, and we are so glad we did. The questionnaires they have you do definitely seem overwhelming at first but they are so helpful with wedding planning! They have you think of things that you never would have thought of. It helps a lot with timelines too. Everything is accounted for and their process just leaves very little room for error and makes everything run so smooth. We got assigned to Annie as our DJ and she was lovely! Extremely professional and did everything exactly as we wanted and envisioned! We had so much fun and plenty of people were dancing all night.

Since the day I booked with Amplify/Nate, I have been pleased with everything! Annie is Awesome
From the moment we spoke with the owner to the time our DJ Annie left, we were in good hands! They have a great survey to get to know what you need and want. Annie met with us prior to the wedding day to confirm what we needed and even though we had a few changes, she rolled with it like a pro!! She even took care of a glitch at the venue with such grace and poise, … and she knows how to read a crowd! I cannot say enough about how fantastic she was!!

Amplify and DJ Dexter
Had a friend suggest Amplify after during her planning and happened to discover Nate and I had some if the same friends. He was a huge help and helped me decide on a DJ after the one I had originally picked had to cancel. Dexter was high energy, very involved in the music choices where I needed help and danced right along with us as well. 10/10 will be hiring them again for future events!!!

Erik is awesome!
Erik was the BEST!! He felt the room out and easily adapted to our crowd, made a new idea I had come to life for the married couples dance and it was a huge hit! I love that he was open to any ideas we had and suggestions. He also worked with us on last minute details. Lane did an EXCELLENT job for our wedding! Marc was the best!! he was the DJ for my daughter's wedding in December and everything went so smoothly. Amplify was the best experience for our wedding reception. Nate, the owner, answered all of my questions quickly so that I could customize my package exactly how I wanted it. We were assigned Chelsea as our DJ and she was amazing- full of energy and played songs that kept the crowd wanting more. It was also a huge plus that I was able to nail down our DJ, photo booth, and projector for a slide show all in one package. I highly recommend booking with Amplify and requesting Chelsea!!

From start to finish, working with Amplify, specifically Nate & Darvon, was efficient and painless. This group knows exactly what they are doing and are willing to cater to your every need. The planning process was smooth, the meetings leading up to the wedding were productive, and the execution was there. This group did not miss. Darvon DJ'd like he'd been doing it his entire life. From the moment our reception started (used String Cortet for ceremony, highly recommend) Darvon set the mood and you could tell our guests were having trouble staying in their seats. So much so, that we asked our own parents to get off the dance floor so we could get things rolling ha! Darvon keep the energy high, never ruined the vibe, and was always friendly toward guests if they had a request. Darvon was an essential part of our big day and he was flawless. Many thanks to the Amplify team but especially Darvon for making a memorable day, that much better.

We will recommend Amplify for every occasion to everyone! We would hire them for just a random Thursday at our house! Miggy went above and beyond for our wedding. He dressed the part, interacted with guests and brought his own props to make the dance floor the best time! 11 out of 10! Nate was the DJ of our dreams. We had the best night and I literally never left the dancefloor and danced to every single song played. They had to force me to do the send off lol. Nate had great pacing and music selection. He knew the assignment. Also, dis boi can rap and the next thing you know he's on the dance floor with you. He elevates the energy in the room so naturally (like the freakin' pro he is). But Nate is more than just a very experienced DJ--he is such a kind, hilarious, intriguing and engaging person. Wonderful, atmospheric music for our wedding day
Annie from Amplify was wonderful for our wedding. Matt and I had a unique idea for music that involved incorporating old favorites from Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and Marvin Gaye with others like Bruno Mars and Luke Combs. It was a wonderful combination and she even helped us with a fun family game during dinner.

Nate was absolutely amazing!! We truly had the best time of our lives, and our guests did too! We’ve had people calling us days after the wedding saying that our wedding was the funnest wedding they have ever been to! Best dj company ever!
WHERE DO I BEGIN! This company is AWESOME! 10/10 recommend! We had Nate as our DJ for our wedding and I would not change a thing!
First, leading up to the wedding we had filled out a very detailed questionnaire that Nate paid extreme close attention to in order to understand exactly what we wanted from him and how he could make our special day AMAZING!
Second, During our final meeting we were able to go through the questionnaire and even though my now husband and I were unsure of somethings Nate was really helpful and patient with us while we figured it out.
Third, we had a severe thunderstorm the day of our wedding and it just so happened to hit as soon as Nate and his team finished setting up all their equipment. They tore it back down and set it back up under the "indoor" part with NO complaints!
Lastly, HIS ENERGY! We asked him to bring it and he did. He got people on the dance floor, read the room and guest, and made the reception a PARTY! Our guest are still talking to us about him...
Overall, I would use this company again and again. If Nate wasn't able to make our wedding due to any emergency he had a DJ who was on standby! The security of having someone there and the overall experience with them was amazing.

DJ MADE the wedding!
Nate did an absolutely amazing job! From our first meeting, he was extremely organized, reassuring, and embraced my vision for the wedding. He was an incredible host, from the song choices to getting out on the dance floor during “pop punk hour.” Every guest left the wedding raving about how great the DJ was!
