We used Mission BBQ of California, MD for our super trendy / obnoxiously hipster / barnyard wedding. It was great! The guests loved the food, all the staff and settings looked super professional, and the price was seriously unbeatable. We would use them again in a heartbeat for different events. The staff were great as well. They hustled big time at the event making sure everything went smoothly and on time. We also noticed that a few of them ended up working a bit past their stopping time just to make sure everything got cleaned properly. We definitely appreciated that they didn't leave until the job was done (and also tipped them out at the end of the night as a thank you).

Missions did a killer job catering our wedding. Tiffany was very responsive through the planning process. They do not require a down payment and you can make changes up until two weeks out. Very flexible and affordable. On the day of the staff was amazing. Melissa, the head caterer made sure the bride and groom were happy and always had a drink, we were very pleased with their service. And the food was yum!

We used Mission BBQ out of California, MD for our daughter's wedding reception, and we could not be more pleased! They offered a tasting several months before the event and went over all the details with us. They kept in touch with me (the mother of the bride) via email and were very responsive to my questions. The day of the event they were on time, and staff did a phenomenal job serving. The food was delicious! I highly recommend Mission BBQ as a caterer.

Mission BBQ provided amazing food at an amazing cost! We actually cut our catering bill in half by using them, and can't tell you the amount of compliments we got on the food. They brought "bam bam" the big military style truck to serve food out of, and it was a hit! My husband is an active duty marine, so we especially appreciate the mission of the company (they provide assistance to the Wounded Warrior Project and work closely with wounded and active duty military personnel). The staff was wonderful to work with, and I still get hugs every time I go in there for lunch!

My husband and I are both big fans of Mission BBQ and we have been to other weddings that they have catered, so it was an easy choice for us. We knew the food would be delicious but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they were way cheaper than pretty much every other BBQ caterer in the area! They also served very generous portions and packed up leftovers for everyone to take home too. The best part about using Mission BBQ is the tasting when you get to pick out your menu! They give you SO much food to try at no cost and they insist you take the leftovers home! And when they found out my husband was a veteran, they gave him a bunch of free sandwich coupons.

My only complaint was that the coordinator we met with few months before our wedding was promoted to a different position, so there was some confusion between my mother and the new coordinator regarding the contract. Once that got cleared up, everything was fine though. I would just caution brides to make sure everyone is on the same page a few weeks beforehand.

Mission BBQ has great food and great service. When my husband and I came for a tasting, we sampled almost everything on the menu and the general manager was extremely attentive and nice. Although there were a few miscommunications with the catering person, it was all worked out for the wedding. We were pleased with their service and all the guests seemed satisfied with their meals.
