Working with Mikhail was an absolute pleasure. From the start, he was quick to respond and made us feel at ease with his friendly and professional approach. Since we're not the most comfortable in front of the camera, we were looking for a photographer who could document our wedding weekend without making us feel like we were posing for every shot. Mikhail really took the time to understand what we wanted, and it was clear that our artistic preferences aligned perfectly.

We didn’t hire anyone else for videography or additional photos because we felt confident in Mikhail’s ability to capture the full experience. We wanted someone who could spend quality time with us, our families, and guests, and truly capture the lively, joyful atmosphere of the day. Together, we created a two-day plan that included a few hours at our welcome party and the full wedding day.

The final result was incredible. One friend described it perfectly: "He was everywhere and nowhere at the same time." Mikhail had the perfect balance of being present while still capturing everything without ever feeling intrusive. We couldn’t be happier with how he captured our day.

From the beginning conversation, we loved Mikhail's vibe and the way he thinks about wedding photography. He is a true artist and treats wedding photography as such. He will get the classic shots and make you look beautiful as a bride, but he will also capture so much that is unexpected and perfect. I love how he captured the mood of our wedding, from the getting ready to the detail shots to cocktail hour all the way through to dancing. The pictures look exactly how the night felt - which is no easy feat and exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. Mikhail photographed our December 2022 wedding in downtown Boston, and now almost exactly a year later, we are still so happy with how our wedding photos turned out! Mikhail is extremely talented, and not your traditional wedding photographer. He is hilarious and high energy, and was able to honor our requests, while also capturing all the candid and behind-the-scenes moments in the most unexpected and artistic ways. Mikhail has a great eye when it comes to art direction. Trust his process and you'll have great photos. We let him guide us with poses, location, etc and loved every single shot.

I was referred to Mikhail by another photographer and I’m so happy!! On our initial all, he spent a lot time talking with me and getting a sense of exactly what we were looking for. I’m a creative so I had a clear vision of what I hoped for our wedding photos and he made it happen, perfectly!

We recently had our New Year’s Eve wedding, and my biggest concern for our photos was that it would be pitch black out for our ceremony and reception, with no natural light. Mikhail put me at ease from our first call and said that these photos would be cool, moody, lots of direct flash and after getting our previews back, they are AMAZING.

Mikhail has a real talent in bringing real, candid moments to life. I absolutely love his documentary style approach. His photos bring me right back to that day and make me tear up every time!

Aside from his talent, Mikhail is funny, easy-going, friendly and an awesome wedding guest! He made me feel so calm and kept me laughing all day, even through some challenges. He always asked me if I was ok with what we were doing, he doesn’t force posed photos (unless that’s what you want) he’s a true creative professional and I would work with him over and over again!

Hiring Mikhail to do our wedding photography was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. He is professional, laid-back, and friendly. Mikhail is a fantastic photographer! My husband and I were determined to find a wedding photographer who would capture real moments that would be unique and meaningful to us, Mikhail was without a doubt the perfect person for the job. He took the time to meet up with us before the wedding so we could get to know each other, we discussed the day of details and had some laughs (he has a great sense of humor). Mikhail was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day, he has a user friendly website that made communicating and making payments seamless. During the reception Mikhail celebrated along with us, dancing, singing and snapping pictures of all the goings on (during the reception we asked him to stay for the whole night and he did it without hesitation). We had a lot of fun working with Mikhail, he was very easy to work with and did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable. He has great vision and style and he was able to perfectly capture the feel of the day with some really memorable shots.

Mikhail was also self-sufficient on the wedding day, he was able to work well with other vendors and knew where he needed to be. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Mikhail is one of the best in the BIZ! We knew we wanted him as our wedding photographer after looking through his blog. When we met him, it was icing on the cake! He is so funny, and it’s fun to have him around. He is super responsive throughout the whole process. The wedding day he was professional but super relaxed. He actually pretty comical. It felt like having one of our friends as our photographer. But the main point- THE PHOTOS. I love the photos he takes, and I love the way my photos came out. He’s able the bring the emotion and love into the photos. And super creative! He has a photojournalism style, but he gladly took any sort of photo we wanted. Honestly, most of the time I didn’t even realize he was around after the start of the ceremony because he everywhere and nowhere at the same time. He promptly got the photos back to us 5 weeks after the wedding, but he also sent us about 20 (amazing) highlight photos only a couple of days after the wedding. I recommend using him as your engagement and wedding photographer. I will be using him again in the future!!
