My wife and I worked with Eli for our engagement and wedding photos. We spent a lot of time searching for the perfect photographer to capture everything - focusing on candid moments, emotions, relieving the awkwardness, and generally someone we could trust to use their own judgment and need little guidance throughout the day. Eli was exactly the right person for the job. We clicked right away, with an intro call where he answered all of our questions and joked around with us to relieve our anxiety. He looked up our venue and already started making suggestions for how he would shoot and edit everything. He worked out a unique package deal with us to fit our needs and budget - we wanted to shorten the engagement session and tack that time onto our wedding day. He drove over an hour after work (he’s a nurse!) to our town for the engagement session just to ensure we’d get the perfect sunset vibe. We had a blast and the photos turned out better than we could have imagined. When it came to the wedding day, he kept us in the loop and arrived perfectly on time, got himself set up and took control of the situation seamlessly. He meshed so well with our whole group and helped keep us on schedule while also sneaking away to capture detail shots we never would have thought of. We had given him a list of things we wanted and he reminded us of them throughout the night which was so helpful. He was overall extremely kind and professional, while also having an approachable, relaxed energy that eased our fears. It is clear that this is a passion project for Eli, as each photo came to us carefully edited with every special detail highlighted perfectly. We are just in awe of the gallery of over 1,000 photos from our wedding night. Many of the photos we did not even realize he was getting in the moment. The return time for photos was a bit on the longer side (just over 12 weeks) but this is WITHOUT A DOUBT worth it. Not to mention, he offered us some print credit to make up for the time! My wife and I agree that we couldn’t have picked a better photographer for our wedding, and these photos will be cherished forever. Sorry for the long review, but you need to know all the reasons why Eli is the guy to hire!

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing Eli is and was during our entire wedding season. Photography was the most important aspect of our wedding to me, so I hired Eli very soon after we got engaged, nearly 2 years before the wedding. We worked together on our engagement shoot and prepping for the big day, and of course the day itself, and Eli was absolutely incredible. He helped make my vision come to life for both the engagement session and the wedding day, and he was so kind and attentive to my fiance at the time and now husband, my wedding party, and my family. We have gotten so many compliments on all of the photos that Eli has done. I cannot recommend him enough - he's truly a gem of a human!

I honestly can't sing Eli's praises enough. My husband and I decided last minute to do a small intimate ceremony in the States to accommodate family member who could not travel for our destination wedding. We contacted Eli three weeks before the wedding and let him know that we were working with a rather tight budget but knew we wanted to capture this moment. Eli was the only photographer who we spoke to who was understanding of our financial constraints and did not try to sell us more than we could afford. He was super responsive, and was a joy to collaborate on the vision we were looking for. I let him know that my husband and I were extremally shy and he made a point to meet with us as many times and we needed to become comfortable and come up with a plan to get the best shots. He was super professional, friendly, and was great at managing both young and old wedding guests!!! I would 1000% work with Eli again and highly highly recommend.

We were very laidback about pretty much all aspects of wedding planning, but one thing that was very important to us was having an excellent photographer to document the day. Eli made that happen and we were thrilled with the results! In addition to taking gorgeous photos, he was highly professional , flexible, available and just overall a lovely person.
