One of the best wedding/life decisions you can make

Working with Mikhail was an absolute pleasure. From the start, he was quick to respond and made us feel at ease with his friendly and professional approach. Since we're not the most comfortable in front of the camera, we were looking for a photographer who could document our wedding weekend without making us feel like we were posing for every shot. Mikhail really took the time to understand what we wanted, and it was clear that our artistic preferences aligned perfectly.

We didn’t hire anyone else for videography or additional photos because we felt confident in Mikhail’s ability to capture the full experience. We wanted someone who could spend quality time with us, our families, and guests, and truly capture the lively, joyful atmosphere of the day. Together, we created a two-day plan that included a few hours at our welcome party and the full wedding day.

The final result was incredible. One friend described it perfectly: "He was everywhere and nowhere at the same time." Mikhail had the perfect balance of being present while still capturing everything without ever feeling intrusive. We couldn’t be happier with how he captured our day.

A true artist!

From the beginning conversation, we loved Mikhail's vibe and the way he thinks about wedding photography. He is a true artist and treats wedding photography as such. He will get the classic shots and make you look beautiful as a bride, but he will also capture so much that is unexpected and perfect. I love how he captured the mood of our wedding, from the getting ready to the detail shots to cocktail hour all the way through to dancing. The pictures look exactly how the night felt - which is no easy feat and exactly what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. So many people have commented on how they loved our photos and how great of a vibe Mikhail brought to the wedding day. We loved loved having him and can't recommend him enough to all who want unique, meaningful and gorgeous wedding photos from a great person to have in your corner.

Not your traditional wedding photographer!

Mikhail photographed our December 2022 wedding in downtown Boston, and now almost exactly a year later, we are still so happy with how our wedding photos turned out! Mikhail is extremely talented, and not your traditional wedding photographer. He is hilarious and high energy, and was able to honor our requests, while also capturing all the candid and behind-the-scenes moments in the most unexpected and artistic ways. We would definitely recommend Mikhail to any couple who not only wants awesome photos, but wants to have a blast and feel completely at ease while taking them.

Candid, real wedding moments, captured perfectly!

I was referred to Mikhail by another photographer and I’m so happy!! On our initial all, he spent a lot time talking with me and getting a sense of exactly what we were looking for. I’m a creative so I had a clear vision of what I hoped for our wedding photos and he made it happen, perfectly!

We recently had our New Year’s Eve wedding, and my biggest concern for our photos was that it would be pitch black out for our ceremony and reception, with no natural light. Mikhail put me at ease from our first call and said that these photos would be cool, moody, lots of direct flash and after getting our previews back, they are AMAZING.

Mikhail has a real talent in bringing real, candid moments to life. I absolutely love his documentary style approach. His photos bring me right back to that day and make me tear up every time!

Aside from his talent, Mikhail is funny, easy-going, friendly and an awesome wedding guest! He made me feel so calm and kept me laughing all day, even through some challenges. He always asked me if I was ok with what we were doing, he doesn’t force posed photos (unless that’s what you want) he’s a true creative professional and I would work with him over and over again!

We can’t wait to get our full album back!!

Meaningful Moments

We reached out to Mikhail for our wedding after seeing his amazing portfolio. He responded quickly and we had a lot of phone talking to him on the phone to get a sense of his style and what we were looking for. He's friendly, funny, down to earth, professional, and a true artist. We made us feel totally at ease and made us feel empowered to decide what we wanted from our wedding pictures (posed portraits, natural moments). We were in total awe of our wedding album -- he perfectly captured us, our friends and family, and our day. We've looked through them so many times already and have gotten so many compliments on our pictures. Looking at our pictures takes us right back to our wedding day and we we feel so grateful to have these special memories!

Best decision = hiring Mikhail!

Hiring Mikhail to do our wedding photography was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. He is professional, laid-back, and friendly. I teared up looking at the photos for the first time with my partner because I was instantly taken back to the magical moments and authentic feeling of our wedding day. He truly captured our families, their personalities, and special moments. We had a small, intimate wedding with just our immediate family in our living room. The room was small and Mikhail was able to get every moment perfectly. I cannot recommend Mikhail and his expertise enough. Mikhail is a fantastic photographer!

Mikhail is a fantastic photographer! My husband and I were determined to find a wedding photographer who would capture real moments that would be unique and meaningful to us, Mikhail was without a doubt the perfect person for the job. He took the time to meet up with us before the wedding so we could get to know each other, we discussed the day of details and had some laughs (he has a great sense of humor). Mikhail was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day, he has a user friendly website that made communicating and making payments seamless. During the reception Mikhail celebrated along with us, dancing, singing and snapping pictures of all the goings on (during the reception we asked him to stay for the whole night and he did it without hesitation). So, here is it...if you want real-bring-you-right-back-to-that-moment pictures, Mikhail is your guy.

Easy Choice for Perfect Pictures

We had a lot of fun working with Mikhail, he was very easy to work with and did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable. He has great vision and style and he was able to perfectly capture the feel of the day with some really memorable shots.

Mikhail was also self-sufficient on the wedding day, he was able to work well with other vendors and knew where he needed to be. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Mikhail is one of the best in the BIZ! We knew we wanted him as our wedding photographer after looking through his blog. When we met him, it was icing on the cake! He is so funny, and it’s fun to have him around. He is super responsive throughout the whole process. The wedding day he was professional but super relaxed. He actually pretty comical. It felt like having one of our friends as our photographer. But the main point- THE PHOTOS. I love the photos he takes, and I love the way my photos came out. He’s able the bring the emotion and love into the photos. And super creative! He has a photojournalism style, but he gladly took any sort of photo we wanted. Honestly, most of the time I didn’t even realize he was around after the start of the ceremony because he everywhere and nowhere at the same time. He promptly got the photos back to us 5 weeks after the wedding, but he also sent us about 20 (amazing) highlight photos only a couple of days after the wedding. I recommend using him as your engagement and wedding photographer. I will be using him again in the future!!

You should definitely hire Mikhail. One EASY decision for planning your wedding :) I searched high and low for the perfect wedding photographer - one who flawlessly captures the real emotion of a wedding and all the lovely natural moments of the day. Mikhail BY FAR is in a league of his own. On top of that, he is the chilliest funniest guy who makes everyone feel super comfortable. Mikhail was amazing! It was so easy to meet with him before and he was really interested in figuring out what WE wanted. On the day of the wedding, he was always around but was never in the way!

Choosing Mikhail to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. When looking for wedding photographers, we found Mikhail's website and immediately felt like he was our only option. After falling in love with the photos on his website, we had high hopes for our wedding photos and what we got in terms of both photos and overall experience absolutely exceeded our expectations.

He was so easy to work with throughout our wedding planning process, was very flexible and really listened to everything we asked for. On the day of the wedding, he arrived in town with plenty of time to spare and met us at our hotel promptly at the time we had agreed upon. He was professional, friendly, and made all of our guests feel comfortable, and he made sure to capture everything we had expressed was important to us. We felt totally confident that he was getting the photos we hoped for, so we were able to enjoy the night without worrying about anything.

The photo set we received (earlier than expected, too!) perfectly tells the whole story of our wedding day, and it was so fun for us to relive the day through our photos and see some moments that we didn't get to witness. He perfectly captured real moments and the personality of our guests in a truly authentic way and we are so appreciative to have these memories of ourselves and those we love most in print. I can't say much more other than that they are perfect and we will treasure them for the rest of our lives.

Mikhail is simply the best, better than all the rest, better than anyone. jk, but in all seriousness, he was great. My husband and I are such awkward photo people, we aren't comfortable in front of the camera and we told Mikhail this when we met him months before our wedding. We were looking for some family portraits but generally a lot of candids capturing the day along with all the magical light he is insanely good at capturing. We were SO happy with the end result. Mikhail is amazing. We were very particular when we were looking for a wedding photographer since our biggest fear was ending up with "cheesy" posed photos of the whole evening. Not the case with Mikhail. His photography is perfect story telling and he has a talent for capturing real moments that you will treasure for a lifetime (just look at his website and you will see what I mean). He easily managed to beautifully photograph our winter wedding (in the cold, in the dark and in the snow) and he is so fun to work with. Hiring Mikhail was easy because we felt like we were working with a friend from the moment we met him. If you are looking for a photographer and want to have the best photos possible from someone who absolutely loves what they do; definitely book Mikhail. Had a fantastic experience with Mikhail! I was actually going to go with another photographer, but just didn't feel right...then an ad popped up with a badass logo, and it was Mikhail! I immediately fell in love with the "feel" of his photographs-- he truly does capture real moments, real smiles, real reactions. Knowing that's what I wanted in my photographer, I booked Mikhail.

I think two things stood out to me in the entire process, pre and post wedding: 1) Mikhail's enthusiasm. He is a people person. He is deeply passionate about his work (and talented, at that!). He was honestly fun to be around! 2) Importantly, it wasn't just that Mikhail captured real moments, it's that he captured who my husband and I are as a couple. Look around his blog-- notice that each wedding blog post comes out with an entirely different vibe. Mikhail actually tries to understand what you, as a couple, represent, and to reflect that in your photos. My husband and I wholeheartedly felt that he delivered exactly that-- we wanted a vibrant, smiley, fun feel and that's exactly what we got. Mikhail knocked it out of the park.

Book Mikhail. I stumbled across his blog while searching for wedding photos at the two venues we were deciding between (turns out he had shot at both) and instantly fell in love with his natural-light focused, genuine style. He made my husband and I feel at ease immediately and was super accommodating when we were pains in in the butt and asked him to make the trek from Boston to NH for just our engagement photos. For our wedding, he connected with us well in advance and asked specifically what we were looking for and if there were any particular shots we wanted. We gave him a list and he made sure those shots were ALL taken. He did a great job capturing the anticipation of getting ready, the emotion during the ceremony, and the celebration and joy during the reception. He got photos of moments we didn't know were happening and his photos will help us to relive that perfect day forever. Having to choose from over 900 photos feels nearly impossible because they're all so great. We're so grateful Mikhail was available for our wedding and we love the finished product!!

Mikhail is THE BEST! I DJ weddings myself and I've gotten to know some great ones over the years - all different styles and approaches - and Mikhail fit our style and vision for the night beyond perfectly. We met with him a number of times before the wedding date and even did a site visit of the venue - he was so accommodating and flexible. We went over in depth and detail of what shots we specifically wanted done of family member and first look - and then just left it to him to "do his thing". We received our photos back and no shame in admitting this both were in tears of HOW AMAZING they were!!! He captured moments we had no idea were happening at our wedding. The day is so hectic as it is and parts of it are a total blur for us - so reliving everything through Mikhail's lens was a treat. The coloring - the serious loving moments - to the totally silly weird photos - everything was TOP NOTCH. He also blended into the wedding so well - I never once remember really seeing him. He felt like a guest who was there partying and just happen to be taking photos. 100 percent recommended for your wedding/any event!!!

Throughout the process of planning a wedding there are so many choices you have to make. There are two things that came easy to me that I didn't question throughout the entire process, 1) I knew I wanted to marry Tyler 2) I HAD to have Mikhail as my wedding photographer!!!!!!!!!!!! I had seen Mikhail's work via social media, a friend of a friend booked him for a destination wedding. Que my stalker status! Before I was even engaged I followed Mikhail and fell more and more in love with his photography skills. Months later it was finally time for me to pop the question and ask questions regarding availability, rates, etc. Mikhail was perfect! Now that Tyler and I are married and have received our photos I am even more impressed! Not only was he an amazing photographer and we love every photo, he was also one of the best wedding guests! Having him around actually calmed my nerves before the wedding! He is professional, but I felt like I was working with my bud/spirit animal! Prior to the wedding, Mikhail made sure he had a full background on what we wanted out of his service and he 100% met all of our expectations. I continue to look through the photos and fall in love even more and more. There is not a picture in there that I would not want to print and save forever. Everyone has their insecurities, but Mikail helped make everything and everyone look their best. Flaws became our best features and as the bride I have never felt more beautiful. I didn't know if I loved my hair or if I picked the right dress, but after seeing the photos I know everything was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing!

I highly, highly recommend Mikhail! I guarantee I will book him for future needs as well because I don't want anyone else to take professional photos again :)

Mikhail was one of the best hires we made for our August 2015 wedding! He was easy to communicate with, really open to any requests we had, and fit seamlessly into the vibe of our relaxed, outdoor, Berkshires wedding. His work is beautiful, with bright colors and interesting framing. We weren't interested in a ton of formal portraits, and Mikhail was able to shoot hundreds of amazing candids that really captured the atmosphere and personality of our friends and families. Plus, his energy and humor made him feel like another friend of ours and got the most out of our guests. In the end, we came out with over a thousand incredible photos that my husband and I agree make us feel like we're back in that amazing day.

I would definitely recommend Mikhail. He was a pleasure to work with, a pleasure to have at our wedding, and captured beautiful images to remember our wedding by.

Mikhail really captured the most memorable moments of our wedding day. We had him for 8 hours and I am so happy we had the extra time. He has a great personality and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. :) He kept us laughing the whole night and really felt like he was meant to be there. To put it as simply as possible, Mikhail is a fantastic photographer. When my husband and I got engaged and picked a date and venue, my next priority was a photographer as I love photos. We knew we wanted someone whose style was a bit different than the many we had seen, and Mikhail's work is visually striking and magnificently represents each moment. While we did know him before selecting a photographer, Mikhail treated us professionally and was incredibly responsive every step of the way. During the day itself, my husband and I could have sworn that we didn't even see him other than while he took our posed photos, and somehow- he captured every moment we could have asked for! Talk about being unobtrusive (I'm sure most of us have been to wedding ceremonies, etc. where the photographer was in the way), Mikhail was almost invisible, yet always present. His eye for artistic & memorable shots is impressive, as is his ability to maintain a comfortable atmosphere, particularly during our posed & "candid" couple shots. During our "getting ready" time, my husband and I both thought we might need a bit more guidance with what to do for photos, but everything still turned out great! Overall, would we recommend Mikhail to anyone looking for a wedding photographer? The answer is a resounding YES, because his quality as a professional and a photographer is just that good. If you're considering multiple photographers, know that Mikhail is worth every single penny.

It took my husband and me 4 months to find a wedding photographer. It was becoming a very frustrating process until we finally came across Mikhail. Oh but was Mikhail Glabets was worth the wait. His online gallery immediately drew us in- seeing how relaxed all his couples looked and how he captured such awesome moments. Our introductory meeting was at an adorable coffee shop in Medford, and the 3 of us clicked so well that we chatted until the shop had to ask us to leave for closing. On a personal note, Mikhail is kind, humble, and so so very funny. As a photographer, he absolutely blows you out of the water. He is an artist and someone whom you can trust for any occasion.

Mikhail took both our engagement and wedding photos. I appreciate that Mikhail understands that people are not always comfortable in front of the camera. He interacted with us and made us laugh so effortlessly during the engagement shoot. When we saw our engagement photos, we were amazed at how many great shots he captured in one hour. It's no surprise that the wedding day went just as smoothly. He was a joy to have around and loved by all. One of the concerns I had for our wedding day was the weather. Since our wedding was in April, we were susceptible to those darn April showers. And of course on our wedding day, there was storm cloud rolling in during our portrait session post-ceremony. But Mikhail worked his magic; one of our favorite wedding photos is from that big ole grey cloud surrounding us.

Mikhail has the innate talent of making a seemingly bland setting become beautiful. He is an artist. He gets inspired. Trust his instincts because he absolutely kills it with that raw talent of his. Mikhail is worth the investment - contact him now if you haven't done so already!

I have to agree with the other review left that Mikhail is the best photographer alive! He is so very talented with his photos that everyone of them is unique in its own way and makes them all special. He just photographed our wedding 2 weeks ago...and I can not wait to get them back!!! We had our engagement photos done in Aug of 2014 and I can't tell you how many compliments we have got on how fantastic the photos came out.

Aside from his talent he is such a fun person! all that awkwardness of some random person in the corner taking pictures, it totally out the window as soon as you talk to him for 2 min. All our groomsmen were a bit hesitant when he came to the house to photograph them getting ready, now all they do is talk about how awesome he was and fun to hang out with!

Some people might say he is a little pricy, but i can not stress it enough...it is worth it!!!!!

Mikhail is the best photographer alive. I know I sound dramatic but its true. He is filled with energy and great personality. Which makes you have fun taking the photos. He also knows how to capture the real moments. "Real moments are better then gold" - Mikhail Glabets. And he really stands behind that. I received my photos today and I am so excited. They are so amazing. Usually when you look at a website of a photographer you are draw to a couple weddings... When I looked at Mikhail's photos I was draw to every single couple. Which gave me the confidence to want him to do my wedding.

When I have children in the future , or want to do a anniversary shoot and include my dog I will be contacting him again! The photos are rich and creamy. He doesn't over edit to lose the realness. But he enhances in the right ways! Best decision ever :)

Mikhail is really really good at what he's doing! He makes the light in the pictures sooooooo beautiful. I definitely love the sunset photos he took. They were amazing! Love his documentary style as well. He captured every good memorable moments in the wedding. My husband looked at the photos and laughed all the way. He loves the photos too.
Mikhail is also a very personable guy. He can dance!!! He can pose!!! He can tell jokes!!! LOL! Oh, and he's the only vendor we had who actually bought us coffee in our meeting:) We chatted and he made us feel so comfortable just like a friend.
I definitely enjoyed his work as well as his personality! You would want someone who can make you laugh a lot when he takes pictures for you, right?

I stumbled upon Mikhail's breathtaking work on The Knot's vendor list under New Hampshire photographers and immediately knew I wanted him to document my wedding. His use of natural light, unexpected backgrounds and locations, and his knack for nailing those natural candid moments are so refreshing to see in wedding photography today. I'm going to change things up a bit and talk about what Mikhail doesn't do. He doesn't require the wedding party to stand for hours for those expected group shots. He doesn't interrupt the dance floor action by awkwardly grouping guests together for a posed photo. He doesn't interrupt the sacredness of the ceremony with bright flashes or loud camera clicks. Mikhail works around the wedding, capturing everyone enjoying themselves, instead of making the wedding work around him.

My husband and I chose Mikhail as our wedding photographer after being referred by a friend. He was great to work with and we love our wedding photos! He is a very versatile photographer--he did a great job with traditional portraits as well as artistic shots, and candids. We were so impressed with the variety of photo styles he took. He had a continuous flow of new photo ideas, but was also very receptive to ideas we had for shots. We are so pleased with our photos and had a great experience working with Mikhail.

Mikhail did an amazing job for our engagement and wedding photos. His personality and photography style helped us to be more comfortable and natural and his eye for lighting and backdrops made for some awesome photographs. We were very pleased with Mikhail's work. He is professional, energetic and very engaging as a photographer. Mikhail has the rare ability to take what would appear to be a nondescript background or environment and turn it into a canvas where he is able to transform the subjects of his pictures into an amazing work of art.

Mikhail is amazing! We immediately hit it off with Mikhail and had such a fun time doing our engagement photos. We felt at ease and I was so impressed by his ability to capture beautiful candid moments! His photography is stunning and we got so many comments from guests and family after our wedding — we've referred him to everyone else we know getting married. The day of the wedding Mikhail was phenomenal. He went all day capturing everything... all those little details and moments. Just perfect. He also set up a Photo Booth for our wedding which was amazing. Our guests loved it and we have some fantastic photos of all of our guests (they almost wore the flash out!). Mikhail went above and beyond staying late into the night and we've just booked him to take our maternity and baby photos as well!! :) He's stuck with us now! Truly a talent!

I have recommended Mikhail to everyone I know in need of a photographer ever since he photographed our wedding reception last October!

He was absolutely amazing! Not only were his photos beautiful, delivered in a timely fashion, and exactly what we had asked for, but working with him was a treat. Wedding planning can be stressful and all-encompassing, so any chance to have positive, uplifting interactions with a vendor (or anyone, for that matter) is a treat. Mikhail was a ball of happy/supportive energy from the very first exchange I had with him. He wanted to know our story, and was genuinely interested to hear about our crazy version of a wedding (we surprised a small group of friends and family at our engagement party by getting married on the spot). This resonated with me, because he was about to document an extremely intimate, personal event in my life, so it mattered that he wanted to get to know us first.

Further, Mikhail was extremely flexible and open to our ideas. I told him I didn't want posed pictures; that I only wanted candids. I wanted the energy to be captured in those pictures. And I made a backdrop for a photo booth, hoping that we could figure out a set up for that. He came through on both requests. He brought an extra camera, lighting, and wireless trigger so that our guests could take pictures all night. He also took stunning pictures of our family and friends - the happiness and love that was felt that night are totally reflected in every picture he took. And there were no cheesy, posed pictures (though he can totally do posed pictures, if you like - and they are anything but cheesy when he takes them).

Mikhail was kind, friendly, funny, and gracious. I loved working with him, would recommend him to anyone/everyone, and I am lucky to now be able to call him a friend.

My husband and I did lots of research before selecting Mikhail as our wedding photographer. We had heard horror stories from family members and friends who were unhappy with the photos from their special day and wanted to be sure we put a lot of thought into who we chose to work with. We were so happy to find Mikhail. He was easy to work with from our very first meeting with him. We appreciated the way he spent time getting to know us and learn about us to better photograph our wedding day. We could not be happier with the results! We have such beautiful photos that truly capture every aspect of our wedding day. We would (and have) highly recommended him to others in search of a great photographer!

Mikhail was so easy to work with and made my husband and I so comfortable from our initial conversation through delivery of our wedding pictures. He traveled to NYC for our engagement pictures, and was super flexible with my husband's ever changing work schedule. He made both of us super comfortable with the process, which was awesome, because we're both introverts and don't love being the center of attention... which could have made pictures super awkward and uncomfortable! All of our pictures turned out beautifully and we cherish them as a perfect memory of our day!

My wife and I had an unfortunate turn of events that left us without a photographer only a few months before our wedding. We have a number of photographer friends in the business that were all booked, and Mikhail was one of the few that they said "they would have paid to have him photograph their own weddings." The same day I emailed Mikhail, and the rest they say is history. He and his lovely wife Erin are a dynamic duo like no other.

When we met for the first time, we clicked with in minutes, and my wife and I just knew that it was a great fit. Everyone is so critical about their wedding photographs. Everyone wants the photos that will capture the day perfectly, and they often overcompensate to try and get a desired "look" or "style". In all reality, capturing the perfect moments takes trust. You need to trust in your photographer that when they roll around on the ground, or tell a silly joke to get a candid smile, they are doing so to make you feel comfortable. Weddings are meant to be fun!

Mikhail is one of the most talented Artists I have ever met, and I work in the field, so I know what to look for. He is a great man, with wholesome values, an amazing eye for detail and the ability to capture perfection. He is professional enough to fit in at any wedding, yet relaxed and fun enough that he makes you want to be his best friend.

Here we are nearly a year later, and we could not be happier. The photographs are breathtaking. Our family members and friends all fight over albums when they come over. My grandmother still cries every time she looks at the photos.

You are in great hands.

Mikhail was the absolute best person for the job -- we even became fast friends. Our engagement shoot was a very fun kick-off to wedding planning. My fiance and I were both uncomfortable in front of a camera, but Mikhail fixed that immediately. We had a blast! Mikhail is fun, professional, creative, on time, proactive, and crazy-talented. His work is priceless, in my opinion...but he cost less than other less-talented photographers! It is really a wonderful thing to know, that after all of the hard planning that goes into a wedding, that the true joy and energy of our day was perfectly captured. All of my friends who were married before us are jealous of how amazing our photos are. I can't wait to have Mikhail capture the next milestones of our family!!

We were so lucky to have Mikhail shoot our wedding! We stumbled across Mikhail’s work after he shot an engagement session for good friends of ours. His pictures were so beautiful and exactly the kind of natural, photojournalistic style we were looking for. Mikhail was the perfect choice for our photographer. We worked with him for our Engagement Photo's which allowed us to get to know him and his style. Mikhail was referred to us by a friend-of-a-friend and we decided to meet with him as we began the long and laborious process of finding a photographer. He was only a couple years into his career as a photographer so we were a little hesitant at first. It was only minutes into our conversation that his amazing passion for photography and personality won us over! It was instantly recognizable that Mikhail would bring a unique and personalized style to our wedding and would, most importantly, be somebody that actually wanted to be there for more than just a paycheck. With Mikhail you get somebody that will care about you and will get to know you as to make your photos as much like ‘you’ and your personality as possible. We chose a package that included an engagement shoot, wedding shoot, photo-booth and post-wedding shoot. He engages you to get certain shots but really stresses that you be yourself and he, at each setting, found a way to make our personalities shine. At our wedding he was the consummate professional, always there but never in your way. We didn't really know what to expect with our photo-booth (which is a camera setup with a wireless trigger to take pictures…MUCH better than an actual small booth) but it turned out to be the best decision we made! Just a few days after the wedding (which he made while away in Mexico doing a shoot) he made a music video from the photo-booth pictures! My wife woke me up in the middle of the night laughing as she watched the video.

I’ll wrap up by saying that choosing Mikhail as our photographer was the best wedding decision we made! Mikhail is friendly, laid back, extremely talented, engaging and everything you could want out of a photographer. You could choose a large photo company that will show up, take their pictures and leave…or you could choose somebody who is passionate about that they do and who will actually care about being a part of your wedding. We chose the latter and are lucky because of it!

From the very beginning of my engagement, I knew that photography was a huge priority for our wedding. As I began the incessant search for the perfect photographer, I stumbled upon Mikhail Glabets. I was instantly drawn to the unique and pure photos that he captured from countless adorable couples in New England. What stood out the most to me was the way that Mikhail not only captured the posed photo ops flawlessly, but also caught the magic of the "in betweens". It takes a special something to be able to tangibly capture the love that Mikhail does between his subjects. I am getting constant compliments on our wedding photos thanks to Mikhail. Mikhail's unique photography style caught my attention years ago, and I had been following him for years with the hopes of someday having him photography my wedding. I knew that Mikhail would do a great job, but I didn't expect for the results to exceed my expectations. When I saw the wedding photos I was ecstatic. Mikhail captured every moment beautifully, and the photos truly reflect the spirit of the day.

Not only did Mikhail's photography exceed expectations, so did his demeanor and professionalism. He was wonderful to work with from our first discussion through the ceremony and after. Mikhail did both our engagement shoots and wedding photos. We were blown away when we got back the photos. He is a master of outdoor lighting and colors. He has a true talent for capturing the energy of the moment in photos.

He was also very flexible in his schedule. We asked to do our engagement shoot in two sessions to capture both the summer and fall seasons, and he was very accommodating about it. Very easy to work with and had a lot of fun. Definitely recommend!

I initially noticed Mikhail’s photography because of the way he works with natural light. Also, his photos capture the energy within moments, as if you could jump into the images and be a part of the scene. And, while his photos capture energy and fun, it’s obvious he takes his work seriously.

Working with Mikhail was great; he communicated promptly, answered questions, explained what was needed ahead of time and showed up on time. He was 100% dependable. Also, long-distance communication was a part of the planning process since neither my husband nor I live near the wedding site, but Mikhail worked well under those circumstances.

In terms of the wedding day, I soon felt at ease, even with a camera following me around. I really did not want a wedding that felt like a production or had impersonal vendors; Mikhail and his assistant easily joined in the wedding day. He captured all of the shots that we’d talked about ahead of time, as well as snagging photos of details I’d never even thought to mention. He really captured the essence of our day, of my childhood home and of the people in our lives. My sister noted that every photo Mikhail took tells a story. She’s absolutely right.

Also, he did a great job managing group shots. I knew ahead of time that I’d need a photographer who wouldn’t be overwhelmed by large groups or by high-energy family members (or kids) and would be able to direct people clearly, but without being overbearing. Mikhail did a great job organizing these photos.

Oh! And the weather for our wedding was incredibly cold. However, Mikhail cheerfully agreed (and even suggested) to take a majority of our group shots and portraits outside. He takes beautiful winter photos and never once mentioned that he was probably freezing to death.

My husband and I love our wedding photos. Our family dog is especially pleased with his personal glamour shots, as well.

Mikhail is the best there is!!!!

Mikhail is amazing! His photo quality is the best and he's extremely fun to work with. The day of can be so stressful and he immediately puts you at ease with his laid-back demeanor. He was even kind enough to stay after our agreed upon departure time to snap some extra pics of guests dancing. It meant a lot to me that he was willing to do that. Book him immediately!!!

Mikhail was great to work with, very relaxed and put us at ease. Very down to earth and common-sense terms (no weird printing rules in the contract). He sent us a few edited preview photos within a week of our wedding, which was awesome, and had the edit done a month from the wedding. Photos were beautiful.

Mikhail photographed our wedding and engagement shoot. We loved working with him. He has a great way of making you feel very comfortable with his goofiness which makes the awkwardness of taking posed photos go away. While fun and silly, he's very professional and it was easy to coordinate and plan all the details with him amidst the chaos of planning everything else for a wedding.

We did a 1.5 hour engagement shoot where we got a ton of quality shots out of. It was quick, but efficient and have some pictures we'll have for a lifetime.

The wedding day, Mikhail did everything himself, but captured all of what we wanted out of the wedding. After he left, he even came back five minutes later and told us he had found "a perfect shot" that he had to take. That shot ended up being the best one of the whole night and is a good reflection of his passion for giving you the best shots possible. He did a good job interacting with guests while not getting in the way.

We got all our photos back within a few weeks and an album a bit later. We loved all the photos and it came in the style we expected from Mikhail based on his prior work we saw. I would definitely recommend using Mikhail for your wedding!
