I was so pleased with the the makeup services that Miel Beauty provided for my wedding day. I'm never one to wear much make-up and Charisse's ability to enhance my natural features without making me feel "overdone" was so appreciated. I felt like the best version of myself. She did the same for my entire wedding party, who all had different skin and hair tones. Her calm presence would be such a gift to any bride on their big day. I would recommend her without a moment's hesitation!

Miel Beauty Bar is one of the few hair and make up teams that will travel to your house to get you and your girls ready for the big day. I loved this since it allowed my bridesmaids, mom and I all to relax in the comfort of my home while we got ready. Ashley (make up) and Whitney (hair) were fast, accommodating and flexible. They were patient while minds changed and they were incredibly friendly. They also do a trial at the salon for the bride, which i loved!

So far, I have only had my makeup and hair trial by Whitney and Ashley and let me just say, they are both incredible and it leaves me little fear going toward my wedding day. Both of them listen to what you want but also are willing to offer advice if you ask them but I felt like both of them knew what I wanted without me even saying a word. I also got assistance in all the pre-wedding services I inquired about: facials, waxing, spray tanning etc. and we created a timeline. I also had the pleasure of getting my eyebrows filled by Charisse while I waited for Ashley before my appointment. I consider myself to have very high expectations and this place is professional, welcoming, and make you look and feel beautiful.

Charisse and Amelia did such a wonderful job on hair and makeup for my bridal party and I! They were extremely responsive and easy to work with, which was really important to me planning a wedding from out of town. One of my biggest worries during wedding planning was how my hair and makeup would turn out (especially after I had a bad trial with another salon), but as soon as I met them at my trial any anxiety went away and I knew they would do a terrific job.

On the day of the wedding, they arrived early and finished with all of the girls ahead of schedule and everyone was thrilled with how their hair/makeup turned out! My hair doesn't hold a curl very well and I was worried about how my half up/half down style would stand up to August weather, but Amelia did a fantastic job and it looked great all night! My makeup turned out very natural, but also beautiful in photos! I couldn't recommend Charisse or Amelia more!!

Miel Beauty Bar was absolutely fantastic for my wedding! I did a full body spray tan (trial and for the wedding) and makeup too. For the make up, I did two trials and was able to pick my favorite. All in all, they are amazing! Highly recommended.

Charisse and Yvette and their team at Miel are AMAZING. I’ve use their services for spray tans, facials, waxing and make up. Every experience was top notch in service and skill.

My number one worry about my wedding day was having a “bad skin” day. I’d been to several derms in the area and they made my skin worse. I started seeing Charisse about 5 months before my wedding day. She figured out my issue, recommended products/treatments (without ever being pushy) that got my skin glowing way before the big day arrived.

During my hair and make-up test run, Charisse could tell I was not happy with my hair. She offered to find a new stylist and do a second test run. I was confident the stylist would figure it out day of (she did and I loved how my hair looked), but I appreciated the offer.

Ashley was my make-up artist. My make-up looked exactly how I imagined and stayed put the entire evening. My mother was worried about looking too “done up” and not “age appropriate.” Ashley did a perfect job and my super picky mom was very happy.

The customer service is second to none. I did not have a whole team of bridesmaids who needed hair and make-up (just me and my mom). They never ever made me feel like my wedding wasn’t a top priority. I got a huge zit on my chin the week of my wedding and emailed my “glam squad” for emergency treatment. They fit me the next day.

If you are getting married in the Finger Lakes, there is no one else in the area who is as knowledgeable and skilled on current make-up/hair trends and skin products/treatments. Book Miel Beauty as soon as you know your wedding date! Their wedding season calendar fills up fast because they are the BEST!

I got a spray tan for my wedding and it was just perfect. I'm fair-skinned but wanted a nice glow for my white dress. Charisse listened and gave me exactly the tan I wanted. She's very nice and easy-going, and ensured that the whole process was comfortable. My sister also got a spray tan by Charisse, and was equally pleased. Highly recommended.

Charisse was wonderful! Every member of the bridal party felt beautiful and no one felt like they looked like they were "going to prom," (overdone, too much, unsophisticated etc.) she got everyone done in a timely fashion and our make up lasted through the hot ceremony, pictures and well into the night.
