I’m a light & love seeker and you’ll know what I mean when we meet. I have a real connection with light. I feel it. I love it. Love on the other hand, is so simple and beautiful, it’s hard not to connect to it when I’m behind the camera. Good light & real love feeds my soul. Without it, my job is… well, not fun!
It is safe to say that over the last 20 years of road trips, adventuring and multiple moves to multiple states around the USA, I have photographed a lot of different things. While I focus mostly on Weddings and Portraiture, I’ve had a wide range of subjects in front of my lens.
EXPERIENCES
I graduated from New England School of Photography in 2003, and while I had absolutely zero intentions of photographing weddings or portraiture (like, no joke - never), despite Majoring in Portraiture my final year, I find myself so in love with both. I love being able to capture the sweet moments between a bride and her Grandmother, or the groom and his Mom during their first dance, to capturing the true essence of a High School Senior in their senior portrait, or the tender touch a new father has with his newborn child. I love connecting with my clients it helps make the photograph complete.
EXPECTATIONS
My goal is to capture emotive images that will enable you to relive your wedding day for many many years.. It is very important to me to build a relationship that helps you to feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Meg was amazing
Where do I start. Meg made us feel comfortable the second she walked through our door for our engagement shoot. She listened to us, was professional, and most importantly, was fun. Our guests commented on how warm and friendly she was at the wedding, fitting right in amongst the crowd and helping people coordinate their own photos plus her own. The few shots I've seen so far are absolutely breathtaking and capture the feel and vibe of our day perfectly. I could not recommend Meg more! Not only is she an unbelievably talented photographer, she is also a really wonderful person!!

Choosing Meg as our wedding photographer was the best decision we could have made! We met in the most random of circumstances (a story for another day), and I am so thankful that we did. From the beginning, she has been like a friend to us, while also providing us with a professional service. I think there is a fine line between the two, and she balances it perfectly. Feeling comfortable with your wedding photographer is one of the number one things we learned throughout the planning process; after all, you're with them throughout the entire wedding day. She was wonderful from the start and understood that we were a little nervous about the whole "professional photo" thing. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed the whole time and we ended up having such a blast at our engagement photo shoot! The pictures turned out beautifully. From then on, every meeting we had to plan leading up to the big day was clear, organized and fun, too. Our wedding day was perfect, the photos were so fun and unique, and they turned out exactly how we hoped they would. She captured our day to a tee and when we were going through our photos, it was quite emotional as she was able to evoke the same motions we experienced the day of. The photos came in a cute package and it was extremely personalized - something that's a small detail, but we really appreciated. Meg was fun, professional, creative, hilarious, detail-oriented, and always had our back. We had a blast and would 100% recommend Meg to anyone looking for a photographer who's not only there to take photos, but to make you laugh, have even more fun than you can imagine on the best day of your life, and is your friend throughout it all. Meg was recommended to us by newlywed customers at our restaurant in Westchester, NY. After viewing the couples' amazing photos on a cellphone, I couldn't wait to see more of Meg's work! Shortly after, we arranged a meeting with Meg to discuss details and I knew by the time she was walking out the door that we had found our wedding photographer. Super friendly, funny, passionate, and professional, we were put at ease during both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. Meg photographed our wedding in May 2015 and was a delight to work with! Since reaching out to her nine months before the wedding, Meg was responsive and helpful. She is laid-back in the best way possible and makes everyone feel at ease. She highly recommended having an engagement session, which I wasn't into, but am so glad she did--it really helped us learn how to be more natural in front of a camera and made for even better wedding pics. Not only does Meg take beautiful photographs, she also has the right personality to help make your day a success. At times you have no idea she's even there and at others, her outgoing nature really helps--especially with some of those group photos. From the minute Meg got to the venue on the day of the wedding, she went straight to work, hardly asking a thing of me, but checking in as needed. She worked her magic and made sure that we got all the shots we wanted before she ended. Overall, my husband and I would highly recommend Meg!!

I have known Meg for a long time, so when it came to looking for a wedding photographer I knew I had to use her. If you follow her on any social media you see how involved she is in watching her clients dreams come true. She is genuinely happy and excited to be going on this journey with you. Meg is always professional, always available and she has a contagious laugh that for sure brings a smile to your face and eases the nervous butterflies on the big day. She listens to what you want and makes sure it happens. On top of being a wonderful person she is an extremely talented photographer who captures photos that will make your jaw drop. I will always have beautiful pictures to remind me of one of the best days of my life and it will always make me smile that Meg was behind the camera! Meg was the perfect balance of fun loving and professional. Her creative ideas were welcomed and she was open to any suggestions we had. She was so comfortable to work with, and our videographer agreed. They were both able to work well together despite never meeting each other, which I have heard is not always the case. -Oh dear, I can't imagine!
Meg's passion for her work was evident in every shot, and she was a wonderful addition to the positivity on our special day. We got married on one of the hottest days of the summer, yet Meg was still able to get amazing shots of my husband and I, despite the sweat and heat. The angles and the lighting were perfect in every shot, and she was able to capture all of the little details from that day. I would highly recommend Meg, she was not only an exceptional photographer, but we consider her now a friend!
