One of the best pieces of wedding advice I received was to pick a photographer who I was comfortable with as the photographer will spend a lot of time with you on your wedding day. From my first phone call with Maura I knew she was warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to. After meeting Maura in person, I knew that spending time with her would be like spending time with a friend- a really talented friend who takes amazing photos.
Maura was professional, responsive, and organized. Three very important traits for a wedding photographer. She was able to meet me before the wedding to go over my must have list. I told Maura how much I loved candid photos. Maura really listened to me! Her background is in photo journalism so she was able to help arrange our first look, wedding party, family, and couple shots to be very natural. She choose great locations at our venue to get the best light and background. The photos came out beyond amazing. Maura was able to take a wide variety of photos from different vantage points. We had so many photo choices, which made it feel like we had a second photographer!
The quality of Maura’s work is unparalleled. She took the most beautiful wedding photos throughout the whole day. She blended in during the ceremony and at the reception. I didn’t expect the amount of pictures she took because I hardly noticed her there! There were so many hidden moments that Maura was able to get because she was so unobtrusive. With this style, she was able to beautifully capture the range of emotions throughout our wedding day. Looking at her photos enabled us to relive our wedding day over and over again.

Total professional. Everywhere we turned Maura was snapping away. She kept people in line for formals, but was discrete, and caught everything throughout the night. Can't wait for our album!
