Matchmaker Band is an award-winning wedding band based in Austin, Texas that has been an integral part of over 1,000 events over the last 10 years! Comprised of 10+ veteran Austin musicians with decades of experience, we know how to get any crowd up dancing and singing along. We provide clients with an expansive song list to choose from, letting you enjoy the best in Motown, funk, R&B classics, top 40 hits, and even country. Consistently celebrated as Austin’s first-choice party band, our wide range of talented musicians and unique vocalists make for a truly immersive experience. From weddings to corporate events, private events, and fundraisers to intimate elopements and elegant receptions, we are here to serenade you and make your evening one you and your guests will be talking about for years to come!
Our standard 10-piece band is packed with talented musicians including four unique vocalists, keys, guitar, bass, drums, sax and trumpet, but you can scale the band up to include a bigger brass section, percussion, or even strings.
But what really sets us apart is our “client-first" mentality. With more than a decade of experience, we are here to guide you through the entertainment experience - from booking to emceeing, customizing playlists, adding on your favorite song, and more. With a variety of music configurations, you can customize your entertainment exactly how you'd like it. From solo pianists for your ceremony to the big band at your reception, the music will carry you and your guests through your special event.

The most amazing and engaging band!!!
I dreaded the idea of music selection but they made it so simple with a list of loves and a list of avoids. This took so much stress off of us and they did such a great job picking songs that matched the vibe we told them we were going for and the songs that we provided on our "Love it" list. They also read the room perfectly and did a great job of matching the vibe of the moment.
Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they are very talented entertainers. The singers had matching dance moves and even came out onto the dance floor to interact with people and get everyone hyped up. The number one compliment we got after our wedding was how amazing our band was, and we have had multiple people ask for their information for future weddings/events. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS BAND AGAIN. They are truly amazing and worth every penny you invest if you're looking to have great music for entertainment and dancing.
