The most amazing and engaging band!!!

I cannot begin to put into words how amazing this band is. One of the few things we knew from the beginning of our wedding planning process was that if we could pull off a live band, that is what we wanted. We love to dance and our friends/family have always loved a good party. Matchmaker band did the most amazing job keeping everyone entertained and up and dancing all night!!

I dreaded the idea of music selection but they made it so simple with a list of loves and a list of avoids. This took so much stress off of us and they did such a great job picking songs that matched the vibe we told them we were going for and the songs that we provided on our "Love it" list. They also read the room perfectly and did a great job of matching the vibe of the moment.

Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they are very talented entertainers. The singers had matching dance moves and even came out onto the dance floor to interact with people and get everyone hyped up. The number one compliment we got after our wedding was how amazing our band was, and we have had multiple people ask for their information for future weddings/events. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS BAND AGAIN. They are truly amazing and worth every penny you invest if you're looking to have great music for entertainment and dancing.

Everything was Amazing

Matchmaker was such a key part of what all our wedding guests said was an unbelievable evening. Everyone said it was the best band they ever seen at wedding. Their breadth and depth of music, skill and execution was impressive. Amos and his team were super easy to work with and added zero stress to the wedding planning process. They also provided for us Dueling Pianos for the rehearsal dinner that were a big hit to kick the weekend off, strings and singer for the ceremony and DJ for the after party. Amos and his team were a key part of the whole weekend and it went seamlessly.

Matchmaker is da bomb

A band was our #1 priority. After the venue, it was the first thing we researched and booked. Matchmaker exceeded all of our expectations. Amos and the team were amazing to work with, and I really appreciated their personalization, allowing us to pick entrance songs, pre-ceremony songs, make our own playlist for cocktail hour and deal with our extremely detailed DO/DO NOT play list. Because of the venue setup, we chose to have the string trio play during dinner and only have the full band perform during the two-hour dance party. Even though 15-minute breaks were expected, the team took none. We noticed. It was incredible. We've received non-stop comments after the wedding about it being the "best band I've ever seen." Can't say enough good things. Music is so important to us and we found a band that GOT IT.

The BEST Wedding Band!!!

I don't know how to begin to describe how incredible Matchmaker was!! They were so communicative and helpful leading up to the wedding, and they are truly a one-stop shop – they provided our ceremony sound system, cocktail hour music, reception music, and uplighting in the room. My husband and I also performed together at our reception, and they provided microphones and had everything perfectly set for us. From the moment the dinner set started, we were transported by their INCREDIBLE vocals and high-quality music from every member of the band. When I tell you I dreaaaam of the way they played "At Last" – I've never seen people stand up and clap for the band during dinner. They MCed the night perfectly and kept the dance floor packed all night long and brought the absolute best energy and talent!! They brought the quality of our entire wedding up, and everyone I talk to post wedding ALWAYS brings up how they'll never get over our band. Thanks for helping us create a night that no one will ever forget!!

Absolutely Amazing!

Matchmaker played at my son’s wedding in Austin, TX in 2023 and we were blown away! By far the best band we had EVER heard at a wedding. They have multiple singers (both male and female) so they can cover such a wide variety of songs and really know how to work the crowd and keep the party going. We enjoyed them so much in 2023, that we had to hire them for my wedding celebration in 2024! They were just as amazing and really made our night special. I would definitely recommend you hire them! You won’t regret it!

The best decision ever!

We had the Matchmaker Wedding Band perform at our wedding reception at the Austin Country Club, and they were absolutely phenomenal! From the moment they started playing, they had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Their energy and talent were infectious, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that truly made our special day even more magical.

A Night to Remember

Our wedding was an absolute smashing success, and we owe a huge part of that to The Matchmaker Band. They went above and beyond by learning our First Dance song—even though it was previously unfamiliar to them—and performed it with amazing musical craftsmanship. It sounded just like the original recording!
Each member of the band is a fabulous entertainer. The way they engaged our guests and encouraged them to P-A-R-T-Y was second to none. Their energy and charisma were contagious, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
In my opinion, The Matchmaker Band is hands down the best event band in Texas. My advice to anyone planning an event: do NOT scrimp on the band. It truly makes all the difference. Everyone who attended our wedding has been raving about how it was the best wedding they have EVER attended. Long after the food and cake are forgotten, our guests will remember the incredible performance by The Matchmaker Band—probably for years to come!

The dance floor was packed!!

Love & Happiness Band was amazing!! We had them at our wedding celebration and the dance floor was packed! They were a pleasure to work with in the planning stages, during the event and after. They reached out with a wide list of songs for us to choose some of our top songs and “don’t play” list then they curated a perfect set list for the entire party. The energy was amazing the whole time and our guests event weeks later are still talking about how awesome the band was. I highly recommend Love and Happiness! A bit thank you to the whole team!

Matchmaker, our perfect match.

Matchmaker was extremely professional and provided outstanding music for our wedding event. Throughout the planning they were responsive and flexible, allowing us to make many changes as the plan evolved.

From the first chord through to the last rambunctious song of the evening, the music and musicians exceeded expectations, and the sound technician was excellent to work with.

A wonderful and unanticipated maneuver was a SEAMLESS transition between Gone to Texas country band, and Matchmaker. It kept the energy high and the dance-floor overflowing. We were afraid of losing guests during transitions, but they were so smooth that we didn’t lose one.

Despite rain at our event everyone involved played and performed in a very professional manner. Our high expectations were not only met, but exceeded!

Moontower + Matchmaker is the Best

This group and band is amazing!! We hired Matchmaker to play at our wedding after listening to them at another venue in town. They are so talented and professional - and they have their performance down to a science. You will love it and your guests will love it. Its worth going to one of their shows - you only need to see them once to understand how and why they are so good.
I also want to call out that they are equally as organized and professional in the background. As anyone planning a wedding or an event learns, communication is important. The Moontower team is phenomenal to work with and made our lives super easy.

Unmatched Talent!

Our wedding planner recommended the Matchmakers saying that they put on an incredible performance. No doubt these this band is was nothing short of extraordinary.
The musical prowess of the Matchmakers is truly exceptional. They will make a personalized set based on music that you like and that you want to hear on the special day. Their versatility allowed them to effortlessly transition between genres, creating a dynamic and energetic atmosphere that kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. The talent displayed by each member of the band was not only evident but also infectious – their passion for music radiated throughout the entire venue.
THEY BROUGHT THE ENGERY. Their ability to read and interact with the crowd increased and maintained everyone’s energy at the wedding. The Matchmakers had an uncanny knack for choosing the right song at the right time. Their ability to engage with the audience created a connection that made our wedding celebration truly memorable.
The level of professionalism exhibited by the band was commendable. Leading up to the wedding, they were organized, responsive, and attentive to our musical preferences. On the day of the event, they arrived promptly, set up seamlessly, and worked seamlessly with other vendors to ensure a smooth flow of the entire event.

Amazing band!

Had Matchmaker Band play at my wedding and they were phenomenal! Couldn’t have asked for a better performance. The energy, skill, stage presence, everything was top notch. I’ve had numerous people ask about them afterwards.

They play every week at a local bar, so if you are on the edge go check them out in person.

Incredible

Matchmaker did everything to make this the most amazing day for us. first of all the sign up process is super streamlined and was easy to add on more products like a string trio. Next was the music selection which they give you a list and you pick 10 must plays and 10 do not plays, and they take that and run with it to create the perfect playlist. we also provided first dance, mother son and father daughter dances along with any other details we felt like including, like a special request for an intro song.
the day of was seamless and they came in and set everything up. our main hope was that everyone would be out on the dance floor by the end of the night and that was certainly the case with match maker playing. They started off the dinner set playing some great motown classics to ease into the night and with each set they started to play more and more songs to get people moving and shaking. Ultimately reaching a crescendo toward the end of the night with everyone screaming Backstreets back at the top of there lungs (the crowd was mostly 80's and 90's babies). they were so attentive, interactive with the crowd and really just knew what was needed for everyone to have a blast. Highlights: they pulled us up on stage(not planned) to sing one of our requested songs(you don't have to go up there if you don't want, but we were all about it), the soul train dance line that one of the singers initiated. Proud Mary being played where everyone was in a full on dance circle.

Band of the Year

We had the Matchmaker band for our wedding in July and they absolutely killed it. Leading up to the day, Amos, Drew, and team were consummate professionals answering all our emails and being available to us when we wanted to talk things over on the phone. We even asked for a special tribute song before dinner and they did an incredible job. Finally the actual set - Their energy and talent was absolutely off the charts. Matchmaker made the party!

We are SO glad we chose Matchmaker for our wedding. We had them play a jazz trio during our cocktail hour and then the full band during our reception, plus the New Orleans Second Line send off at the end of the night, which was a really fun finishing touch! They made the night and our reception just wonderful. Our guests had a fantastic time and have raved about it afterwards. They were so accommodating, responsive and easy to work with the entire time. The quality of the singing and the music is outstanding. We can't recommend them highly enough. Book them - you will be so glad you did!!!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Matchmaker Band blew us away! We didn't get a chance to see them live before we booked them for our wedding as we live out of state--but they truly were so amazing!! One of the best bands we've seen(we go to A LOT of weddings) & we're so happy we went with them. I don't think there is one guest who didn't mention how great they were. They were easy to communicate with and created an awesome setlist that kept the party going all night. Highly recommend :)

This is the best band in America. I am not kidding. They are amazing. All of my guests were RAVING. Did not take too many breaks either. Cannot say enough about them.

Our dream wedding band!!!

There are no words to describe how incredibly perfect our experience was with Matchmaker Band for our wedding day in Horseshoe Bay! The communication leading up to the event was amazing, they catered to our song list flawlessly, and delivered a performance unlike any other. They even let the father of the bride, who plays bass guitar, perform with the band for a song! The dance floor was absolutely buzzing all night long and our friends and family continue to talk about how this is the best wedding band they’ve ever seen! And those vocals? UNREAL!!! Absolutely amazing experience

Every one of our guests told us that Matchmaker was the single best wedding band they have ever heard and made for one of the most fun weddings they've ever been to. I listened to a handful of wedding bands live to make a selection, and the moment I stepped out of my car in the parking lot at Far Out Lounge where they were playing, I knew they were the one. Matchmaker was phenomenal through every stage of planning - super communicative, great to work with, friendly, and even gave really helpful suggestions on my day-of timeline. The performance at the wedding itself was just unbelievably good, so engaging and incredibly talented musicians. Not a single person was sitting the entire reception.

Don't walk, RUN to book Matchmaker!!

We hired them for a jazz dinner set + 2 dance sets and they did not disappoint! The jazz set was groovy and perfect for a mingling dinner. The band could not have been more helpful and easy to work with along the way. We had quite a few special requests -- the band played with my MOH who sung during our first dance song, provided all sound equipment for our ceremony musician and officiant, and all of the equipment for our friend to late-night DJ. We had so many guests ask about the band after the event wanting to book them. Best night of our lives, THANK YOU Matchmaker!

Fabulous band!

The band was my daughter's number one priority! We hired Matchmaker without hearing them live, so we were a little nervous! We watched YouTube videos and thought they were good. Well their performance at our wedding exceeded our expectations! They were AMAZING! They engaged the crowd and played all the songs we requested! Our guests raved about the band!

Matchmaker Band was exceptional! We first hear them at Motown Monday in South Austin and immediately knew we wanted to have them as our wedding band. All of our guests were blown away by the band's performance and we had a blast dancing to the variety of music they played. I would 100% recommend Matchmaker Band for any wedding or event. They know how to put on a show!

Just amazing!

Best wedding band ever‼️🤬

Love and Happiness Band was awesome

Made my wedding perfect

If you are debating to get a DJ or any other band, STOP NOW. Matchmaker Band made my wedding the most incredible party ever. Not only did they naturally get everyone on the dance floor and having a good time, they were SO kind and helpful. Their positive attitudes made the night so stress free. I can’t tell you the amount of people that have reached out asking who the band was and how amazing they were. They are worth EVERY PENNY AND MORE! I can not give a high enough review for them. 100% the best band for your wedding

The Matchmakers were absolutely incredible. They kept everyone dancing all night long and our guests were blown away by their talent. We had so many people say it was the best cover band they’ve ever heard. They were easy to work with and curated the playlist specifically to our needs. I was a precious event planner in Austin for years and have seen my share of other bands and can vouch for them as the best!!!

Incredible entertainment!!

We booked Matchmaker band for our wedding and I cannot say enough about how fabulous they were!! They absolutely brought the party and exceeded our every expectatons. June 11, 2021 - What a night!

Matchmaker exceeded our exceptions! They had all ages out on the dance floor all night! Our guests could not stop talking about how GREAT the band was....no one wanted the night to end. My brother in law is usually the first one to pull the disappearing act and he stayed until the end wanting to hear more music! Matchmaker band is the BEST!

Matchmaker band is truly the best wedding band! From the very start they were so easy and helpful to work with! Due to the pandemic, we were not able to listen to them live before we booked the band but they made us feel so comfortable and sent us videos that proved they were amazing! We were SO excited to have a band at our wedding and Matchmaker exceeded any expectations we had! They kept the party going the entire night and SO many of our guests said it was the best wedding band they had ever heard! It felt like we were at the best concert with everyone we love! I would highly recommend doing the Second Line Send off as well! It was such a great end to the night and amazing way to start our send off! I cannot imagine our wedding without Matchmaker band and am so thankful they helped us celebrate our wedding! If you are looking for an wedding band in Austin, do not look any further!!

Perfectly done!

Went to see Matchmaker play at a local dance club and knew they would impress our wedding guests. They were most helpful with the ceremony music, dinner set, and dance sets, even during this pan-damn-demic! We got multiple compliments on the music, and were pleased that guests now understand the music culture in Austin!

Fantastic through a hard time

We booked Matchmaker for our April 2020 wedding which unfortunately has now been rescheduled multiple times. Matchmaker has been AMAZING to us in being as flexible as possible and always respond very quickly. Even though their industry has been very shaken through the pandemic they still face decisions with a customer first mentality that we are so grateful for. Book immediately - these guys are the best!

The Matchmakers are INCREDIBLE! We feel so lucky that we were able to have them play at our wedding. We were originally planning a 200+ person wedding, but pared down to a 50 person, mostly family wedding instead due to covid19. The Matchmakers DELIVERED. We anticipated playing mostly dinner music given the smaller guest count, but they read the room and pivoted to dance music by the end of the night, and we had the time of our lives! All of our guests were raving about the Matchmakers the rest of the weekend. They are the most talented. Look no further if you're in search of the perfect wedding band, regardless of your guest count. We would 100 percent recommend!

Absolutely amazing!

I've had the privilege of hearing Matchmaker perform many times and they NEVER disappoint. Whether it's "Motown Mondays" or at a special event, this band is incredible. The vocals are so above and beyond anything else I've ever heard at a wedding. I especially love Drew, who sounds like a mix between Sarah Bareilles and Brandi Carlile (my 2 favorite artists!). So good!!! Anyone who hires them will get an interactive and fun experience for their guests that people will be talking about for years to come. You CANNOT GO WRONG with Matchmaker Band!

Amazing band, unforgettable evening!

The band was so good!! Not only were they extremely accommodating and kind to work with, they kept the party going all night! It was like having our own private concert! Best of the best

You get what you pay for because we looked at many bands and Matchmaker is above and beyond! They made the entire night SO MUCH FUN. Our guests wanted 2 more hours! Even those not on the dance floor were absolutely jamming at their tables, they couldn’t help it. The brass section did a mini second line leading us out of the venue which our NOLA crowd absolutely loved. Great people, great band, we can’t recommend them enough!

Pure talent. Pure joy on our day.

UNBELIEVABLE talent. They took our wedding to a completely different level. Each member was so unique in their talent and presence - they are all the real deal. We wanted a band with soul, that lifted people up and was non stop fun (after the rough year so many have navigated) and they did exactly that. There is no way this band could disappoint. Hired the band back in 2019 for an April 2020 wedding and have had to reschedule

We have had to move our wedding twice due to COVID, and the band has gone out of their way to accommodate us and work with us on rescheduling. I can’t speak to the band’s music (yet) but Amos was exceptionally helpful.

Best. Band. Ever.

I was SO happy when I found out the Matchmakers were going to be able to perform at our wedding in July 2020. They were my #1 pick from the beginning. I had seen them perform at multiple of my friends weddings and they were AMAZING! Such high energy and they have a type of dance routine for every song. They all perform so well together and every song got the crowd on the dance floor! Even if you don't like to dance they are so entertaining!!! Book them now!!!

"Your band was amazing!"

The very first comment we heard from EVERY guest about our wedding was how amazing Matchmaker was. I echo every 5-star review - they are more than worth the budget allocation. Professional, FUN, extremely talented and clearly very passionate about what they do.

We utilized them for our ceremony (piano music, so beautiful and brought me to tears) , jazz trio set during our cocktail hour (SO FUN and fancy and set the mood) , and of course the full 10-piece band during our reception. People were swaying in their seats and singing along even during their dinner set, and the dance floor stayed packed the rest of the night. They MC-ed the whole evening and made it seamless. The DJ during set breaks was awesome.

One of the groomsman has a wedding coming up and grabbed their card. SERIOUSLY, BOOK THIS BAND!!!

Matchmaker is far and away the best band in Austin!!! Amos, Jerry and Drew were so easy to work with on song choice and creating a custom feel between cocktails, dinner, and the party. wedding band music

Matchmaker played for 4 hrs at my daughter's wedding. We hired a 10 piece band, with 4 singers and horn section. They are a top notch band with so much energy, and the dance floor was lit up the entire evening. Their playlist is extensive and the musicians are amazingly talented. We did not want the music to end, they were so much fun! The dance floor was full the entire 4 hours and our guests just loved the band! They are pricier than alot of bands in Austin we looked at, but so worth the money spent. Matchmaker will not disappoint you or your guests! Their talent is superb and they are very responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend Matchmaker for your next event, you will not regret!

The BEST Wedding Band in Austin!!

When we were narrowing down wedding bands we shared our list with our wedding planner, who said if Matchmaker Band is available for your date/in your budget, hands down you should go with them. We took her advice and could not be happier with how absolutely wonderful our experience with Matchmaker was ... From playing all of our parent dance songs live to emceeing our dinner speeches to keeping the dance floor jam packed with all of our guests for the entire reception, we can't say enough about what an awesome job they did. My husband and I were dancing so hard that with about an hour left in the reception we realized we'd never even left the dance floor to go try one of our signature cocktails! You won't be disappointed if you book Matchmaker Band for your wedding - even among our otherwise amazing vendor team, they really stood out with their fun energy, amazing musical talent and accommodation of all of our special requests throughout the planning process. Still trying to live off the wedding high! and my feet hurt from dancing too much!

I absolutely LOVED that we went with matchmaker for our wedding!! In the end, it wasn't just me who was obsessed with them, every since guest was amazed on how great every single member of the band was!!! I loved the singers popped off the stage and sang in the crowd! They set the energy for the night and because of that our guests said, "if you didn't have fun at that wedding, you don't know how to have fun!" and "your band played songs that everyone wanted to hear, not just catering to one generation."

They also let me 'karaoke' with them! that was so fun and something else that the guests loved :)

Thank you again for everything! check them out at the Highball! We were so happy with how everything turned out! We've been telling our other friends to book them as they are truly the best wedding band in Austin!

Simply put, a band can make or break a wedding reception. When we set out to book our band, we had very high standards and looked all over Dallas/FTW, Houston and Austin. Matchmaker Band BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN! This group of musicians is so unbelievably talented, and they mesh so well. Their harmony, dancing, all of it was just fantastic. From the first email to our last dance, they were so easy to work with and answered all of our questions very quickly. There were so many of our guests commenting that it was the best band they had ever seen at a wedding. In my wildest dreams I never thought my daughter's wedding would be as lively and as much fun as it was with the Matchmaker Band. From a very warm cocktail party set to an elegant dinner set to the most lively and spirited dancing I've ever seen, the music for my daughter's wedding was perfect. Somehow the band seemed to know how to make the crowd respond and everybody there, even those who walk with canes, were up shouting and dancing. The rave reviews from our relatives and friends were overwhelming. We had expected that the bride and groom's wedding song would have to be played by the DJ but to our amazement, the band learned the entire song and played it flawlessly. The demo clips we saw, while good enough to make us hire the band, are nowhere near a fair portrayal of how they perform live. This is truly a sophisticated and accomplished group and I am so happy we spent the little extra to get them. In every sense of the word, they truly made magic!

The Matchmaker Band is the best band that I have ever heard at a wedding reception. Our guests were really impressed with the band with many saying "the best ever!" All of the singers were terrific, and they had a perfect playlist. I have never seen as high a percent of guests on the dance floor all night long! We had researched several bands in the Austin area, and the Matchmaker Band certainly hit a home run. I highly recommend this band and would be happy to talk to anyone considering them.

Guys. Guys. Matchmaker Band is the most amazing band you could possibly hire. They absolutely slayed at our wedding, and we had guests all night coming up to us and telling us how much they loved our band. Not only was the music amazing, they just had a great feel for what people wanted to hear and when people wanted to slow dance vs get their groove on! We had people actually applauding during some of the slow dances.

And not only that, Matchmaker Band learned two songs for us, our first dance song and another song we just really wanted played at our wedding. They absolutely nailed both of them! We were floored!

So many of our guests stayed at the wedding until the end, and our dance floor was always jam-packed. These guys know how to make a party. Communication with them was always easy--their pianist did our ceremony music beforehand, and he was funny and easy to get a hold of--and they were so kind and sweet during the actual wedding, too.

I can't recommend the Matchmaker Band highly enough. We saw them at another wedding in 2015 and knew THEN that they would be the band for us. After seeing MANY bands since then, nobody could supplant the Matchmaker Band. They were our first choice and absolutely the best!

I cannot begin to express how amazing the Matchmaker Band is. I had them for my wedding reception and could not have been more pleased. They know how to work a crowd and every single one of our guests was on the dance floor all night- which was just what I wanted! They were incredibly easy to work with as well. I would do anything to re-live that night. I can only hope to attend another wedding in the future with Matchmaker Band!

This band is absolutely fantastic!! We had them for my daughter's wedding and the reception was a blast!! They are a must!!
Very professional too. Did everything they said and we did not worry about a thing. They had the whole night under control.

What an AMAZING band! I hired Matchmaker for my May 14th wedding and suffice it to say, our guests were WOWED. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had an amazing time. We gave them 7 songs we liked and 7 we didn't from their list, and they tailored the music perfectly for us. They are incredibly engaging and just so much fun. The cherry on top was playing our first dance song live, which we were not expecting, since it wasn't on their list. REALLY special moment for me when the dance started! Thanks so much, Matchmaker!

Having Matchmaker was the absolute best decision we made. They brought the party and had everyone on the dance floor through the last song. They interact with the crowd, involve the bride and groom and handle all the announcements/extra DJ duties. I don't know how they could have been better, seriously.

Matchmaker Band! I must have said their name 100 times on the night of my daughter's wedding! All through the night and even a week later, people are still asking the band's name and saying how fabulous they were! This band created the party atmosphere, made wedding announcements, provided DJ services on their breaks, etc. Matchmaker is the ultimate wedding band not only because of their great personalities and that they are gorgeous to look at, but because they are extremely talented vocal artists and musicians! Best decision ever was to hire Matchmaker!

This band is worth every penny and more!! They were seriously the highlight of our wedding!! Everyone could not stop talking about them. My grandma even stayed up until midnight and couldn't wait to hug them after! They rock the house and have so much energy. You would think doing this every weekend they would get a little worn out but they came in guns blazing and put on an amazing show. I feel so lucky to have had them!! Their trumpet player is amazing as well! De did our ceremony music which was modern songs played on a solo trumpet and he killed it. Cannot reccomend these guys enough!!

Matchmaker played at my daughter's wedding this weekend and the music was definitely a highlight! The bride and groom love Motown music but also country and pop and there was a perfect blend of new (Uptown Funk) and old (Shout and At Last). We continue to get emails and calls about how amazing they were and comments include "Best Wedding Ever!" and "I want to wedding crash every wedding they play at!"

I'm just sad that I only have one daughter to marry because I would definitely book them again. Very entertaining, got the crowd involved. Plan early because they book up fast! You will not be disappointed!!!

Awesome. Just awesome. Our wedding was basically the best party either of us had ever been to. So many guests said the same. Matchmaker was a huge reason the wedding was such a success and SO MUCH FUN! They are so much more than a cover band - they really love the music and put so much soul into it. I think everyone could FEEL this in the music. Dance floor was packed and nobody wanted to stop.

My wedding was 11 days ago and I'm still receiving pictures and emails about how amazing the Matchmaker Band was. They appealed to EVERYONE at my wedding -- the older folks loved the Motown jams and everyone hit the floor when Uptown Funk started playing. The "slower" music during dinner was so fantastic that couples started dancing before the plates were cleared. Ange brought me up on stage for one of my favorite songs, Proud Mary, and my husband and I were brought up again for the final song. We sang and danced our hearts out, along with our guests.

Jerry was my primary contact leading up to the wedding and he was extremely responsive and professional. Every single member of the band is execeptionally talented and experts at engaging the audience. I'll never forget when Demetrius got on the dance floor and busted a move with my guests!

The Matchmaker Band provided the soundtrack for a magical day that we will never forget. One note for future brides -- try to book a year in advance. They are great, reasonably priced and book fast.

Thank you to the entire Matchmaker Band for making us feel so special on our big day!

This band was great! Matchmaker plays all the party standards and can keep a party hopping! They kept my reception energized and rocking all evening long. They have a great sound, they interacted with the crowd and our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves!! It was so much fun getting up on the stage and dancing with the singers. I am so thankful we were able to get them out of Austin. You can not go wrong with this group.

I am unsure if I could write a review to match how unbelievably amazing this band is! We were introduced to them at Motown Mondays and immediately called them about our wedding the next day. Extremely professional and flexible in their work. Their cocktail set was perfect for dinner and then when they really got jammin... you basically had to fight for a place on the floor! My guests are still complimenting them; 5 months later! If you are looking for a band that is interactive and energetic with extremely talented musicians, this is the one.

I just had the Matchmaker Band play at my wedding this past weekend and they were incredible!! Everyone was dancing and having the time of their life. They played all the right songs at the right time. I am originally from Switzerland and all my guests from overseas were stunned at the bands singing qualities, stage presence and energy that they brought to the property. This band is a no brainer when it comes to a wedding or any other party! The best "shout" I have ever seen!

I wish I could give these guys more stars. They absolutely MADE our wedding reception. They were amazing! I've seen them several times around town but the intimate wedding reception really made them shine. They got rave reviews from our guests and made the whole reception a giant dance party! What a perfect evening!

These guys are awesome. They are a 10 piece band and they really made our night excellent. They are so much fun and do a great job getting people onto the dance floor. Two weeks before the wedding we sent them a list of songs that were sorted into tiers: must play, 1st choices, 2nd choices, and a 'do not play' list. This really helped them put together a set list that we would like and that we felt our guests would enjoy. Their sound guy, Alex, is great. He really worked with us and the Hummingbird House to keep the music at a perfect level for dancing while not being too loud. I highly recommend these guys. Also, they tend to play at the Highball in Austin on Monday nights if you want to check them out.

Matchmaker Band could not have been a better band for our daughter’s wedding!! They were everything we hoped for and more! Their professionalism and entertainment was beyond what we hoped for. Dinner set was beautiful. Then after dinner, they did not miss a beat and kept everyone on the dance floor. We would book them again and again! Truly the perfect band for our daughter and son-in-laws wedding. If you have an opportunity to have them at your event…..do it!!

Hands down best wedding band

There aren’t words to express how incredible The Matchmakers were at our wedding. 3 different guests got their info that night and more have been asking us. Their voices, their dance moves, their energy, their song choices, even just the overall A/V guy were absolutely spectacular. 100% you need them at your wedding. Best decision ever!!

Matchmaker is hands down the BEST wedding band ever!!! They made our reception SO much fun - we had so many people tell us at our reception that they were the best wedding band they had ever heard. Matchmaker will knock your socks off!

Holy cow, Matchmaker are incredible. We hired them for a 200 person party of a wedding and then... Covid. Somehow, they managed to bring that same spirit to our 19 person minimony. I was worried that having a live band for a tiny group of our immediate family who were masked and socially distanced would be weird, depressing, and the opposite of fun, but man did Matchmaker deliver!

All our guests were raving about the band all night and everyone was having so much fun dancing (despite masks, distancing, and 100 degree heat) that we extended our dancing time.

Matchmaker was extremely professional and easy to work with. They were on top of everything, lovely in every interaction, and flexible with adjusting around Covid. They figured out a new band construction that would be appropriate for a smaller wedding and revised the song list and approach to be just right for the wedding we had.

The performers (from the cocktail hour / dinner jazz trio to the full band for dancing) were unbelievably talented. They were some of the best musicians I've ever heard perform and brought so much energy and enthusiasm to our event.

If you are thinking of having a band at your wedding, please do yourself a favor and hire Matchmaker. They are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. If you're able to invest, you will be so happy you did!

So much fun!

We had been checking out a few wedding bands when a friend recommended we check out Matchmaker where they play every Monday night at the Highball. We went, and could hear them through the walls halfway across the parking lot, so we knew before we even got in that they were the real deal. They have a following of regulars who go every week just to dance to Matchmaker! They are all really professional musicians and a cut above the rest of the wedding bands we heard. When we had to postpone our 3/21/20 wedding due to COVID, they were so flexible and easy to work with in rescheduling. When we finally had our wedding on 10/4/20, it was a much smaller crowd, but even at the end of the night when there were only 5 or 6 of us on the dance floor, they kept the party rocking as if there were 500 or 600 people. I cannot say enough amazing things about Matchmaker, and can't wait until they're back at the Highball! If you want to give your guests a rocking party, look no further!

Matchmaker Band played at our reception and everyone LOVED them! People danced from start to finish. We are so happy we chose them, though it was a little more than we had budgeted. They are extremely talented, fun, energetic and entertaining. We would choose them to play again if we did it all over again!
