Absolutely wonderful! This place gets 10 stars from me. This food is by far the best food I have ever tasted in my life! After eating here, I understand why it is rated the #1 restaurant in San Juan PR on Trip Advisor and why people rant and rave about the food. I had a small destination wedding and food was the #1 thing we wanted to splurge on. Wedding food is always blah to me and I wanted to go to a restaurant where I knew the food was made fresh and would be so out of the world that our guests would talk about it days later. At Marmalade that is exactly what we got and I could not be happier with the choice we made. We had a group of 35 people and we were able to have a secluded section of the restaurant. Groups sizes over 6 I believe, have to order from their group dining menu. Our wedding dinner was 15 courses!! Of course this is tapas style (sharing), but it really was a lot of food. So, much food that we had to change our evening plans because our guests were so stuffed. I will admit, 15 courses was a lot to try to eat, but I made sure to try every single dish because the food was that great. Our guests had 10 appetizers to try, soup, 1 main dish, and 4 desserts to try. There was not one dish that was bad. The service was impeccable. They were very attentive to food allergies and made a point to explain what was in each dish. If someone had allergies, they were very accommodating by offering a substitution. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks were also good too. The signature passion fruit drink was very tasty and everyone's drink of choice. The only downside is that the tables were a little weird, so there was one table tucked in a corner and they could not hear any of the speeches. I did not know this prior to arriving at the restaurant. Other than that, everything was perfect. So perfect, that I wanted to go back a second time to eat more. I highly recommend this place for a small wedding group and if you want something different
