We worked with Olga for our Brooklyn wedding catering and truly couldn’t have been happier. Our venue was taking care of the dinner course, which left some creative freedom for apps and dessert. From the start, we knew we wanted an elevated, visually stunning charcuterie display and fun passed desserts (no traditional wedding cake), and she completely got the vision right away.

Olga is incredibly imaginative and such a joy to work with. She nailed everything with very minimal direction, which made the whole process feel easy and collaborative. She was also thoughtful and creative when working within our budget, offering smart, beautiful solutions without ever making things feel compromised.

Her entire team was professional, polished, and calm throughout the event—and they genuinely went above and beyond. When our welcome sign stand didn’t work out last minute, they stepped in and secured a better easel without hesitation, totally saving the day.

Months later, our friends and family are still raving about the food and presentation. If you’re looking for a caterer who understands aesthetics, flavor, and logistics—and who will truly elevate your event—we can’t recommend Olga and her team highly enough.

It was such a pleasure working with Olga and Marcey Brownstein Catering for our wedding. From the very beginning, Olga understood our vision and created a custom menu for me and my husband that felt so “us” - it was spot-on from the first draft with zero edits needed. Olga and her team were incredible - they were with us for every step of the event and went out of their way to ensure all catering and presentation was to our liking and perfectly suited to the event, as well as flexible for any changes or requests we had. the food was phenomenal and many guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had - highly, highly recommend!

I cannot overstate how spectacular Marcey Brownstein Catering is, and in particular, how spectacular Olga Svirkova is! Right from the start they made a strong impression. The “pitch” menu we received was nearly perfect, and frankly we could have moved forward with it as-is. The MBC team leveraged a few notes from our planner (shoutout Veronica Joy at Veronica Joy Events) on our tastes and came out swinging. On our initial calls with them, they immediately looked to connect personally, understand our vision, taste profile, etc. They asked about our favorite restaurants, our favorite dishes, and even went out to try some themselves.

After we joined Olga for our taste test we knew we had made the right decision. The bespoke and elevated nature of everything became very clear, as well as the level of service. We tasted every bite, critiqued and praised intricate details (e.g., more special sauce on the sliders, less garlic in the Ceasar cups, can I have another serving of the spicy penne vodka?!), and worked to refine the menu together. It was collaborative and we made a few key changes that night at the suggestion of Olga, which completely knocked the menu out of the park.

When it came to game day they showed up and delivered beyond what we could have asked for. Every detail was spot on. From the mini Diet Coke bottles served upon arrival, to the martini bar, and every little bite between, it was a delicious affair. We still have guests commenting that their favorite part of the wedding was watching the servers align behind a table, look at their captain, nod together, then deliver the plates to their tables in perfect unison. A work of art!

It should go without saying, but the food was superb. We were nervous that the delta between taste test and 140 person wedding would be large, but there was no deviation in quality.

As a final note, what made the experience with MBC so special was the teamwork and collaboration with Olga. We spent months together curating every detail and she was determined to ensure it landed exactly as we’d drawn it up.

To share a quick anecdote on the level of service she brought to the table…my wife and I headed directly to the martini bar as soon as we entered the cocktail hour. Upon ordering a Monkey 47 martini, extra dry, with a twist, I was informed that there was no Monkey 47. Confused and groom-zilla’d I asked Veronica and Olga what happened to my Monkey 47. With all of the respect and composure in the world, Olga kindly reminded me (and showed email receipts!) that I’d scrapped Monkey 47 from the menu and stuck with Hendrick’s. Embossed and apologetic, I grabbed myself a Hendrick’s martini. What came next will show you the lengths that Olga and MBC will go to in order to ensure you’re having the wedding of your dreams. No more than 15 minutes later, Olga taps me on the shoulder and with a smile on her face and a martini glass in her hand, passed me a Monkey 47 martini…in nearly no time flat, she ran to the store, grabbed a bottle of Monkey, and delivered the best surprise of the night.

Through the entire planning process, she gave us her expertise and guidance, and also met us where we were when we had to make changes to fit within our budget. Together, we created the most wonderful evening, with the most beautiful tablescapes! ALL of our friends and family will be talking about THE FOOD for years and years to come. When we decided to have a NYC wedding, we knew that the food needed to impress, and Olga and her team did exactly that. Money well spent to know that you are getting exquisite quality and a catering experience that is leagues above the rest, that will leave all of your guests, regardless of age, speechless. We were so confident going into our wedding day, having complete and total faith that Olga would produce nothing short of a flawless event, and the cherry on top - she is fabulous.

I loved working with Olga at Marcey Brownstein Catering. She created a menu that fit our tastes exactly and was flexible with us to make it just what we wanted. But when I got to the event, I was overwhelmed by not only how delicious the food was but how beautifully presented it was. Wedding food is known to always be fair at best, but Marcey Brownstein really defied this and served the most amazing food. My only regret is not eating more during my wedding!

The food was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully presented and even better tasting (guests are still raving about it)—but what really blew us away was everything Olga did that went far beyond catering.
