From start to finish, a delicious and unique dining experience wouldn’t have been possible without Marcey’s flexibility during the planning process. Seamlessly integrating a family-style serving at our request, custom cocktails and non-traditional desserts - Marcey helped us shape our dinner into something people talked about the morning after. With a deep bench of menu options, we appreciated Marcey talking us through how dishes could work together or be approached differently. Having bases in NYC and Hudson Valley meant that Marcey could easily attend in-person meetings at the venue or with our planner - a huge plus for anyone looking to get married upstate.
The moment we knew our guests would be in for a treat was right after our ceremony. Before cocktails started, and almost immediately, Marcey’s team greeted us with both of our custom cocktails and a full plate of all the appetizers being passed to our guests. That special gesture set the tone for our evening and we felt reassured that our guests would enjoy the thoughtful menu Marcey helped us put together.

Marcey Brownstein helped bring our dream wedding to life!
Marcey was so creative in coming up with menu for our New Orleans themed cocktail hour and our Italian style family feast. She really took the whole event to another level. We couldn’t be more thrilled with the way things went and we had so much positive feedback from guests. Her staff was also so on top of everything from keeping our glasses full to the finest of details without every seeming to break a sweat. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a top notch caterer. -

We chose Marcey Brownstein Catering + Events as our Wedding catering vendor because we had heard amazing things from our venue team and we were totally blown away when we did our tasting. The food is not only delicious, but so beautiful. Olga helped us dream up a menu that reflected both of us and all of the things we love, and worked with us every step of the way to ensure our wedding day was perfect. She was so helpful with her recommendations, and we felt like we were in great hands throughout the process. Our expectations were totally exceeded on the day of the wedding with the incredible service, presentation (and of course flavor!) of everything. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks at the wedding one month later and some of them said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Truly an exceptional experience working with Olga and everyone at Marcey Brownstein - cannot recommend them highly enough! -

We cannot say enough about Marcey Brownstein Catering & Events and especially Olga, who was the true MVP of our wedding at The Foundry on in August. The food was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully presented and even better tasting (guests are still raving about it)—but what really blew us away was everything Olga did that went far beyond catering. From planning support to day-of coordination, she anticipated every need before we even realized it, kept us calm through the chaos, and made sure every detail ran seamlessly. Quite honestly, our wedding could not have happened without her. Olga and her team didn’t just cater our wedding—they made the entire celebration possible. -

Marcey Brownstein, and in particular Olga, was fantastic to work with! Olga was attentive to what we wanted, creative with solutions, and always found a way to make the answer yes. On top of that, the food was incredible. Our guests raved about it all night. Would definitely recommend! -

When we started our planning process we had NO idea what we wanted other than to get married. We fluxuated from small to big back to small guest list, said we wanted a sit down dinner then decided we were uncomfortable with it, had a color scheme scrapped the color scheme etc etc.
Through it all for 2 years Leslie was patiently there for us and helped craft our non-vision in to a day that perfectly represented everything about us as a couple. From appetizers and stations that featured food from our favorite travel destinations to delicious handcrafted cocktails every detail was spectacular. All while staying in our strict budget!!
As for how the food tasted - simply put a friend of ours ate meat for the first time in 10 years because all the guests wouldn't stop raving about the lamb. He said it was well worth it!!
We couldn't talk about our wedding day without mentioning the flash thunderstorm during our outdoor ceremony. If it were anyone other than Leslie there with us I think the whole day would have gone chaotic. But she calmly and quickly implemented a plan b and guests had NO idea the original vision went belly up.
I also couldn't write a review without mentioning how fun the entire staff was. The whole event just felt like a warm party full of love and the Marcey Brownstien team just added to it. -

Olga catered our wedding dinner for roughly 175 guests at the Harold Pratt House, and working with her was a delight on both a professional and personal level. Olga’s talent, creativity, and flexibility made the catering decisions the least stressful element of planning our wedding. Everything was perfect, from the signature craft cocktails to the late-night snack Olga helped us execute. And I can’t not mention the hors d'oeuvres, which our guests still talk about (one friend in fact told me she replanned the entire menu for her wedding after attending ours 😅). If you’re looking for a high quality, trusted, and easy to work with caterer, look no further -

Marcey Brownstein's phenomenal reputation exists for a reason. Working with Leslie Russell was hands down the best part of this experience. Throughout our two year planning process she was accommodating, responsive, and flexible. On the day of the wedding we did not have a thing to worry about. She was in control and made sure that all of our needs were met. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and the cocktails. Service was timely. The tagliatelle was to die for!!!! The cocktail hour was perfect and the bartenders were amazing. Leslie was one of the main reasons why the wedding went off without a hitch! -

My daughter’s Brooklyn, NY wedding was just perfect, and in large part thanks to Olga at Marcey Brownstein Catering. Olga was one of the very first people I spoke to when my daughter got engaged and with her guidance, I easily assembled a dream team of vendors — wedding planner, florals & lighting, and of course, Marcey Brownstein Catering, which is truly a next-level culinary experience. This is not your typical wedding food! From a poke bar to mini falafel and bao buns to upscale fresh pasta and branzino and amazing signature cocktails — and Kosher-style too!! — everyone who attended our wedding told us that this was the BEST wedding food they’ve ever had. Besides the delicious fare, Olga’s impeccable hospitality the level of customer service she and her team provide ensured that the food and beverage service at our party was seamless and free-flowing. Just as importantly, throughout the entire planning process, Olga’s calming, can-do manner allowed us to truly be a guest at our own event and be fully present for ever magical moment. -

It’s been almost 9 months since my wedding and people are STILL talking about the food! Selecting Marcey Brownstein Catering was by far the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. Our amazing wedding planner, Jose Rolon, recommended we check them out for our wedding in April at 26 Bridge in Dumbo. This is an empty space where you have to bring in every single thing which can be a bit daunting, but the Marcey Brownstein team worked so well with my planner to make everything perfect for us and helped to execute our vision flawlessly. We were lucky enough to work with Olga Svirkova, who was an absolute pleasure. Olga was incredibly attentive, flexible, detail oriented and so easy to work with. She consistently went above and beyond and made sure we were happy with every single detail. She even went to one of our favorite restaurants to try one of the dishes we mentioned so they could come up with something inspired by it for our wedding ! Olga completely killed it with our menu was also so patient with us when it came to little changes we wanted made to the menu a month or two before the wedding. It was so hard to pick between all of the options at our tasting because everything was so good !! At the actual wedding (and for the tasting), everything not only tasted delicious, but was presented in a really unique, fun way. On the actual wedding day, Olga and her team also made sure my husband and I and our families always had everything we needed. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that people still come up to me and tell me our wedding had the best food and no other wedding has compared. I couldn’t recommend Marcey Brownstein Catering (and Olga !) more highly and hope to have another event sometime soon that I can work with them on. -

Absolutely amazing!
If you do one thing right for your wedding, make it your catering choice. The only things guests really care about is good food, alcohol, and music. Marcey Brownstein Catering covered the 2 of 3!!! Our guests raved about how incredible the appetizers and buffet dinner was. The drinks were very well made (and our guests appreciated that they were nice and strong). Over and over we heard how it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. A massive thank you especially to Olga! She was kind, patient, creative and very helpful always. She helped to fuse both of our cultures into the food choices (Brazilian and Trini) while ensuring it was very elegant. Also shoutout to the incredible servers! They were all so nice, happy, and so quick to ensure everyone was well served. They also ensured my husband and I were offered food and drinks very often, honestly I wouldn’t have eaten at all if they didn’t because we were so distracted. They are also great at pivoting if needed. We were originally hosting an outdoor wedding and the morning of it was very windy and we had to make a decision to host it indoors instead (since it was on a rooftop), the catering team made it work and literally set up outside to ensure we had sufficient spacing. My husband already said that any future private events we hold he wants this incredible team to cater for us. Do yourself and your guests a favor and HIRE MARCEY BROWNSTEIN CATERING! -

The entire catering experience from start to finish was so wonderful and impeccable. So many of our guests came up to us personally during the course of events and after the wedding to express how much they enjoyed the food.
Each person said that the caliber of the cuisine was so much more sophisticated than anything they had tasted at other weddings and celebrations.
The presentation was beautiful, the service was fabulous, and the food was delicious
Olga was amazing to work with on this special event. I was impressed from the moment I reached out. Her ideas and creativity really impressed the entire family, and we are still reminiscing over the delicious food. -

We just got married on 10/13/23 and needless to say it was a process getting to the day. We had an Italian tuscan theme wedding. Our venue was The Foundry in LIC and this particular venue you have to do all the leg work meaning you have to bring in outside vendors for everything. Thank god we found Olga and her team at Marcey Brownstein Catering + Events because she really helped take over that role as our wedding planner. Every question that popped into our heads we reached out to Olga for answers and she was more than happy to answer and help point us in the right direction. Her and her teammate Nicole were so amazing through the entire process and even on the day of the wedding they stayed to make sure things ran smoothly. Whether it was queueing me for walking down the aisle for the ceremony or making sure my husband and I ate dinner. Every step they were there. They are also some of the nicest people we have ever met. They gave us their opinions on everything and really helped us shape our ideas and make them a reality. They helped our Italian tuscan theme come to life and everyone that attended the wedding was just in awe of it. All throughout the night people were telling us how beautiful the venue was and they were also raving about the food. Normally when you think of a wedding you think pretty decor and "meh" food. But the food that Marcey Brownstein puts out is absolutely amazing! So many people came up to my husband and I to tell us how much they loved the food and even still a little more than a week after our wedding people are still telling us how much they loved the food. I honestly can't thank Olga Nicole and the team enough for such an amazing night they really made our dreams come true for this wedding. -

I can not say enough good things about working with Marcey Brownstein for our recent wedding in June! We worked directly with Olga, and I truly don't think I could have planned a wedding without her.
We started with an intro call with Olga, which was so personalized and she was really trying to get to know us as a couple. I was blown away by the menu they put together after that first call. They tailored it to things we loved (cheeseburger dumplings with shake shack sauce?! boozy popsicles?!) and even helped us decide that a cocktail style dinner is what we were looking for. After that we knew we wanted to go with the MB team for our wedding. We had a tasting in the NY office which was so well done, the food was amazing, the cocktails even better!
Olga helped us pick out rentals for the wedding, helped us visualize how everything would work together and was so patient as we changed out minds a few times through the process.
The day of the wedding was truly perfect, the set up of stations and the bars, the passed canapés - everything went so smoothly. The thing that stood out the most to us and all of our guests was how amazing the service was. Every single person on the MB team was attentive, kind, fun and did an incredible job. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food and service was.
Do yourself a favor and work with this amazing team!!!! It was the best decision we made throughout the process. I wish I could do it all over again! -

Olga and all the staff at Marcey Brownstein Catering could not have made our day any more perfect. Olga went above and beyond to make sure the day went on without a hitch. We wanted a more casual wedding that integrated a food truck and a friend to help bartend his cocktails -- it was no problem. We asked for budget conscious menu -- it was not problem. We had some food sensitivity request -- also no problem. She contacted all our vendors to make sure they had the details of the day, she helped develop the timeline, she seriously did more than we could have asked for. We didn't hire a wedding planner but Olga made it feel like we did. We planned from out of state and it was a breeze. Everyone loved the food, drinks, and the kind, professional, and attentive staff. I cannot say enough about this company. Hire them. You won't regret it...christy + mack -

The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. The staff was attentive, efficient, and so incredibly kind. Everything was executed to perfection and this was in HUGE thanks to Olga. After planning for over a year and a half, my now husband and I got married at the Foundry on August 2020. We went to a few tastings with other companies where we were very unhappy with the quality of the food, until we had our tasting with Marcey Brownstein. After a brief preliminary conversation over the phone, Olga immediately picked up on what we envisioned for our menu, and set up a tasting that was beyond our expectations. She incorporated our cultures, added fun touches, and yet still maintained the elevated elegance we wanted for our wedding.
Since then she was responsive to every question and concern, and offered amazing advice along the way. She also coordinated our rentals, which was a huge help as that takes a lot of detailed planning. She was a great support system through a covid-postponement, and worked with us to make sure our wedding was safe and appropriate procedures were taken to comply with any restrictions and guidelines we had to meet.
In terms of value for the food and service - you get what you pay for. It was very important that we had an abundance of food for our guests, and that was what we got. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was and how beautifully it was presented. They said our cocktail hour was “out of this world” and we love hearing all the compliments.
To wrap this up – when the ladies at The Foundry gave us the long list of caterers that we can choose from, it was overwhelming on where to start. For all future brides – we HIGHLY recommend going with Marcey Brownstein.

Stellar, especially for those looking for non-standard kosher catering
Marcey Brownstein was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We needed kosher catering to be inclusive of all of our guests, but we didn’t want to compromise on a modern vibe and having the variety of international flavors we love represented at our wedding. I don’t think any other caterer would have been able to deliver the way Olga and her team did.
The menu Olga created for us had Mexican, Italian and middle eastern influences, and yet everything worked together to tell a cohesive story. Olga created a signature cocktail for us with unusual ingredients we requested specifically, and our guests loved it so much that we’ve received multiple requests for the recipe. The entire team, from servers to bartenders, were consummate professionals from start to finish.
Absolutely worth it. Thank you Olga & team!

Jacqueline Sent on 10/10/2016One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was booking Marcey Brownstein. My husband and I were beyond happy with the way the food, service and event turned out and our guests are still talking about how great the food was.
The first thing to note is that when booking Marcey Brownstein for your wedding, you're not just getting a caterer...you're getting an experienced events team. Leslie was our lead event manager and she is the best. From the first phone call I had with Leslie, I got a sense that she was going to be a person we could trust to ensure everything would run smoothly. Throughout the planning process she was great to work with. She even exceeded our, already high, expectations the day of wedding as well. Everything was flawless. She is exactly what you want in an lead - knowledgable, receptive, reliable, fast, honest, organized, detail oriented.
One of my husband and my favorite things about Marcey Brownstein is how flexible and adaptable they are to your overall vision. We had an unconventional wedding with a roving/floating dinner at a gorgeous, yet complicated venue in West Village with a specific aesthetic in mind. The wedding we wanted was something neither one of us had ever seen or been to. In other words, there wasn't a "template" we could follow. Marcey Brownstein was honestly the perfect choice for this kind of event. We told them exactly what were looking to achieve and Marcey Brownstein (Leslie) helped make it happen. She offered suggestions and advice along the way and was able to set our expectations for things that were more difficult, etc. We also loved how Leslie encouraged us to tell her what our favorite dishes are at restaurants, etc. so her and the team could incorporate those into the wedding menu. They absolutely nailed every single dish.
Overall, our wedding was everything we had hoped for and more...and we wouldn't have been able to pull it off without Leslie and Marcey Brownstein's expertise.

We hired Marcey for our wedding, her company did an excellent job and we had a really special wedding also thanks to them. Marcey herself is very knowledgeable, understanding, and flexible. Olga was a pleasure to work with and the food was outstanding. Most weddings I have been to are a success if the food is not terrible; with Olga, that was far from the case! So many of our guests have commented on how phenomenal the food was, both at the cocktail hour and the main course. Olga was so personable and helpful along the way as we had to make some quick decisions and needed guidance, and I would absolutely recommend their team to anyone looking to throw a memorable & delicious event!
