Let me start off by saying, Mapi is a miracle worker! My husband is not a big fan of cake and after a few tastings he was willing to accept that he would not enjoy our wedding cake and would be a good sport and eat our obligated bite for photos and that's it - BUT then we found Mapi.

First off, the level of insane professionalism she provided us with throughout the process was incredible. When we had set up a tasting we were floored to find an array of small cakes that were beautifully iced for our tasting. We had joked that since we were having a fall wedding we would go with carrot cake, but all joking aside - Mapi again came to the rescue and presented us with the most incredible carrot cake either of have either tasted - resulting in a 4-tier carrot cake.

She was professional in all communications - clear about expectations on when the cake will arrive. Decorated exactly how we had descirbed - affordable, and honestly should get award-winning recognition for how insanely delicious her baked goods are.

We had ordered a 4-tier wedding cake and mini cupcakes to surround it - we had a smaller wedding and fully expected to have some leftovers but our cake was devoured, so much so that we had to fight guests off of the top layer for our first anniversary.

Do yourself a favor and book Mapi for your wedding or any event you need baked goods for - SO delicious!

Mapi provided our 4-tier cake for our July 8 wedding at Viansa in Sonoma and it was so beautiful and delicious!! We got 4 unique flavors, one in each tier: chocolate with buttercream, lemon with lemon curd, white chiffon cake with berries (and got extra berries!), and a vanilla cake with passionfruit curd which she made custom for us and was my favorite!! Her pricing and quality were not to be beaten and I would definitely recommend her desserts to anyone hosting a party or wedding in Sonoma.

I had reached out to Mapi after seeing her cakes on Instagram. I had been looking for someone near Sonoma, CA to make my cake since my now husband and I were having a destination wedding. Unfortunately a lot of shops in the area had minimum per person count and were not accommodating. However, when I reached out to Mapi she was different. We spoke on the phone and communicated via email regarding the design and size. I ended up ordering a carrot cake wedding cake with cream cheese frosting and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! My guest were extremely surprised by my choice and they all commented about how good it was. It was so light and fluffy and was so good. I wish I had some now that I could have taken home lol. She followed the designs I mentioned exactly with the gold leaf and sugar flowers. Overall, the cake was beautiful, tasted great, pricing was extremely reasonable, and her communication and service were top notch. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding cake designer. Just so people are aware, my wedding had 26 guests and we ordered a two tier cake, which was more than enough.

We had the pleasure of working with Mapi for our wedding in Sonoma last October and we wouldn’t have gone with anyone else. Mapi was hands on with both planning and execution and was able to deliver the exact cake we had in mind, if not better.

There was a slight mishap during our wedding - we seemed to have gotten the date wrong on our contract and we had Mapi’s calendar booked for Sunday, not Saturday (which was the night of our wedding)...a fact we only found out the day of the wedding!! When our planner called her, Mapi was very responsive and so kind to accommodate the last minute change just to ensure we had a cake to celebrate with. She raced to the venue and was able to dress up our cake on the spot….and worked her magic so well. No one could’ve guessed that all the piping was done right on the venue. She is truly an artist. My friends still rave about how good our cake was.

Mapi executed and brought our vision to life. She is detail oriented, professional and reliable. She customized a 3 tier wedding cake and beautifully decorated it with local flowers from our florist. She met with us beforehand for a tasting. We recommend her! Thank you again Mapi!

Mapi's Cakes is the BEST! We wanted a simple but special cake for our wedding, in funfetti flavor, and Mapi knocked it out of the park. She created a beautiful, classic, but incredibly fun cake for us, exactly as we had hoped. Mapi was flexible, responsive, and helpful in the weeks leading up to our wedding. She was there the day of the wedding meticulously adding olive branches for us to make sure everything was perfect. And maybe most importantly, the cake tasted incredible!!! We got rave reviews from all our guests - so much so, that there was none left to take home. We will absolutely be calling on Mapi's for our next big event or celebration.

Mapi was such a pleasure to work with and very professional. I was absolutely blown away when I saw my cake . It was everything I asked for and more. The cake was so good and everyone loved it. Her Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting was so delicious !
Mapi also made cupcakes for us , I loved her idea of the raspberry on top! The desert bar we had was better than anything I've saved on Pinterest :) and let me tell you there was nothing left! I would definitely recommend her services for all of your future events.
