We had the most memorable Rehearsal Dinner at Mamma Maria. The staff was incredible and the food was phenomenal. We can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu!!

We could not be happier to have chosen Mamma Maria for our wedding rehearsal dinner. We had 2 rooms for a max of 75 people and the space was perfect: 50 in the large Verdi room and one large table of 20 for the younger adults in the Terrace room. Phoebe was a star at organising everything and gave responsive, helpful and detailed answers to our countless questions to help alleviate our stress of planning. The restaurant was also flexible to make substitutions to their set menu to suit our guests’ needs.

On the night itself, service was flawless and the food quality and ambience were unbeatable. Everyone left happy, full and excited for the rest of the wedding weekend.

The only issue we had that we paid $150 for a projector to show a slideshow of family photos throughout the night. We put a lot of effort into making the slideshow which disappointingly turned out to be wasted effort. The projector did not actually fit between the tables without completely blocking the waitstaff, so it had to be removed at the start of the evening. The restaurant should have known in advance that it would not fit with our table layout. The manager did eventually agree not to charge us for it, but it took some some unnecessarily uncomfortable discussions / demands from us when this should have been an automatic offer from the restaurant to not charge for something they couldn’t provide.

Nonetheless, I can’t imagine a better venue for a wedding rehearsal dinner, and no one need look anywhere other than Mamma Maria for theirs!

We had a wedding reception here with about 60 people and it was the perfect choice for this number of people. If you're looking for an intimate reception with great food and at a reasonable price (for a wedding!!), I would highly suggest you consider this restaurant. Jennifer was great to work with and had a ton of ideas of how to customize the space. She was so attentive to detail, as if it was her own wedding. She was extremely responsive over email as well, a huge plus as we were planning from long distance. We bought the restaurant out for a reception starting at 12, with a cocktail hour downstairs and meal upstairs. Having the entire restaurant to ourselves really made it feel like a family gathering rather than just a restaurant meal. It was defintely worth having a morning wedding to accomplish this within our budget. Not to mention the North square atmosphere and lighting in the afternoon is amazing! We brought in our own table decorations, which the staff graciously put out for us, but even without our decorations the restaurant looked stunning. They brought in a ton of candles and other decor which really lit the place up. The maitre d' was extremely warm and welcoming and all the waitstaff were exceptionally kind. And the food! I can't say enough good things about the food. You can be sure your wedding will stand out to your guests as probably THE best wedding meal they have ever eaten. Mamma Maria's really went above and beyond the minimum, and did way more than their contract obligated them to. It was a perfect event, nothing but good vibes about the venue. I am already looking forward to an anniversary dinner here :)
