The Palm Boston

We had our rehearsal dinner (that ended up being a huge family affair!) at the Palm, and I cannot be happier with how the evening went. My sister spearheaded coordination with the restaurant, and their communication and flexibility was perfect for hosting 40ish out of towners coming to Boston (many for the first time!). The staff took the time to introduce themselves to myself and my fiance, remember us by name, and kept close eye on us all night if we needed anything. Despite the large crowd, the staff remembered everyone's drink orders and were amazing with food allergies. Thanks again for a great dinner!

We got married on 5/30/21 here at The Palm, after having originally booked the venue for a Labor Day weekend wedding in 2020 (ugh, COVID). We got incredibly lucky because we simply had to pick a new date at The Palm with no change in price or loss of money.

Paulina is the Events Coordinator and she is BOMB. She was great with keeping us regularly updated, scheduling our tastings, helping us figure out our menus to hit our minimum, helping us navigate COVID guidelines, etc. The day of the wedding, she and other staff did such an awesome job decorating, coordinating, you name it -- all I had to do was drop off several bags/boxes of things and they took care of the rest!

The wedding itself was AMAZING and the food, drinks, ambiance, were all top notch. I have had several family members tell me that our wedding was "the best wedding" they've attended, and I know it is because of the amazing staff. THANK YOU TIMES A MILLION to The Palm -- if you are looking for a super fun restaurant wedding with both awesome food and people, THIS IS YOUR PLACE!

My husband and I had our wedding dinner here in Aug 2019, and HIGHLY recommend Paulina and her team at The Palm!
From the beginning, they were flexible and attentive to what we needed. Great food was a must-have at our wedding dinner, and so although most places do a complimentary tasting only after you make a commitment to the place, Paulina asked us the first night we showed up to meet her to stay for dinner and check out the food. She then arranged with the chef that night (who had zero advance warning) to give us a slew of different meals to sample their culinary offerings. I even remember our server that evening - Michelle - who was warm, funny and very Bostonian. She made sure we had everything we needed, and is probably in the top 3% of servers I've had. They then sent us home with boxes of food that lasted the next week!!

Given the spectacular experience we had, the convenience factor of being in downtown Boston steps from the T, the extreeeeemely reasonable pricing they had, and the fact that the existing ambience and decor hardly needs enhancing, we committed to The Palm.

And THEN we saw what everyone else had been talking about in the months after that. Paulina was on top of things, constantly sending emails to check in while never stressing us out. She was flexible with the menus - when we couldn't choose 1 of 3 dessert options, she let us plate 2 of the 3 desserts instead. She was cool with last minute changes to the guest list, happily advised us on seating arrangements, and worked with our DJ to scope out the space. I have to emphasize that throughout this process, Paulina was ever cheerful and accomodating, truly a wonderful professional to work with.

The day of, everything went smoothly! We loved how our ~150 guests could chill outside in the glass terrace for drinks, then transition to the main dining room for dinner, speeches and dance. The two side rooms were used for (i) nursing babies and (ii) for the kids to watch a movie so their parents could just focus on dinner and conversation. And then of course the partying, fun and games in the glass terrace the rest of the night in the glass terrace was transitioned seamlessly into...

I can't recommend The Palm any more highly!!!

I wish I had the words to adequately describe our experience with The Palm Boston. From the moment we "popped in" to the bar with the intent to check it out as a wedding venue to the end of our reception our experience was nothing short of fantastic. The physical venue itself is stunning. Soaring marble columns, a glass terrace overlooking the Greenway, and floor to ceiling windows throughout. It's location in the Financial District means you can easily access the Waterfront and Post Office Park for photos. We knew immediately that we wanted to have our reception here but were concerned about where we would have our ceremony. The Palm staff took care of that and transformed their dining room into a beautiful ceremony space for us. The glass terrace served as a space for cocktail hour and then dancing to the backdrop of city lights. The whole space is so elegant. Beyond the space, the food is phenomenal. We are big foodies and knew that we didn't want "wedding food." In fact it was the one thing we cared about the most. The passed appetizers were delicious. One touch I appreciated was that after cocktail hour the remaining cheese display was moved to the terrace which allowed our guests to munch on it throughout the night. I thought this was a thoughtful touch. For dinner, our guests were treated to filets cooked to their liking, enormous servings of chicken parm, salmon, and butternut squash ravioli. The chowder was a fun surprise for our guests instead of traditional salad and the chocolate cake was out of this world. Skip the wedding cake, go with The Palm's chocolate cake.

The thing that really sets this venue apart from all others is the staff. Everyone from our vendors to our guests commented on how nice and professional the staff were. Paulina is amazing. From start to finish she provided ideas and details and checked in with us. The night of our wedding she was there from beginning to end making sure everything ran smoothly. I will genuinely miss working with her and would not hesitate to host events in the future. After our ceremony Paulina brought champagne and pitchers or water to a room they had for bridal party use in the back. We were able to access the room all night which was great when I needed to fix my bustle or just take a moment away. All of these little details added up in big ways.

Every time we visited The Palm leading up to our wedding we were treated like VIPs. They say that they treat their customers like family and this is so true.

As we were eating dinner in the mezzanine gazing out at all of our guests, my husband looked at me and said "this is the best wedding I've been to, and it's ours." I think that says it all.

I have been in over 10 weddings, I have seen it all. Our experience with The Palm Boston was so unique. I felt confident from day one that we were in good hands and they executed a perfect day for us.

If you are looking to get married in the heart of the city and want exceptional food, a gorgeous venue, and unparalleled service, check out The Palm. You will not be disappointed. I could go on and on, but go and see it for yourself. Stop looking, you have found your venue.

I had the pleasure of hosting an event at The Palm Boston. Not only was it an amazing experience, but the entire team at The Palm Boston went above and beyond. The venue was intimate and the food was outstanding. I can't wait to go back!

I host multiple events every year at the Palm, and they've always been perfect. Always. The Palm's website says that when you dine with them you become part of their family, and that's not just a tagline. The warmth that comes from the ambiance and team is genuine, and not something you always feel in higher end venues. From the moment I begin planning our events with Paulina, the attention to detail and prompt communication is the best in Boston. Potential issues are anticipated ahead of time and dealt with before anyone (including myself) shows up. The Palm team (including those not part of our event) goes out of their way to welcome guests, say hello to my co hosts and make sure we know they are happy to have us. The food is delicious, at the correct temperature, and exactly as described. Have you meet their bartenders? So delightful to interact with. I've witnessed servers during cocktail hour events notice guests with extra needs and seamlessly accommodate them. It's such a relief to arrive at the Palm before an event to see everything ready to go, and correct; but with someone happy to help with last minute requests or extra touches. Paulina is such a pro - answers all of our questions, customizes the events to our needs, and provides insight and perfect decision making when we would rather lean on her expertise. I almost don't want to write this review, because it might make it harder for me to get dates for myself; but they've been wonderful to me and deserve all the accolades.

Stop looking!!! You have found exactly what you're looking for! We searched and searched for the perfect venue... and as soon as we entered The Palm Boston with the intention of checking it out for our wedding venue, we knew, THIS IS IT.
The restaurant comfortably seated our 200 guests and even accommodated a 9 member band with the perfect sized dance floor. The food from cocktail hour to dessert was nothing short of spectacular! Guests were even treated to their 14 ounce, yes you read that correctly, 14 ounce filet mignon exactly how they liked it, rare to well done, with to-go bags provided at the end. It's the little things like this that people still rave about 4 years later!
The raw bar was to die for. The shrimp cocktail were enormous. And the Lollipop lamb-chops were a hit. The Chilean Sea Bass with corn relish melted in your mouth. (My mouth is salivating just thinking about it!)
Service was second to none. The event planners are responsive, receptive and so accommodating! The bartenders created masterful cocktails and fast! Servers were skilled, they are trained well and work hard to make every experience at The Palm an unforgettable one.
Tips:
Join the 837 Club.
Lay low on the flowers. We realized after spending far too much on flowers that the restaurant is perfect as is and the bread basket is more than enough on the tables.
Guests loved the different size tables (4 seaters booths, 10 seater rounds, 14 seater long tables) and it made the seating chart easy peasy.
Almost all of guests left with take out bags because the amount of food was more than generous!
Skip the cake! Included is dessert. It was fun to share our favorite dessert, creme brulee with all of our friends and family.
The band manager sent us an email after that read "Your party was one of the best of the year.Thanks again for letting us be a part of it!"

My family and I had an amazing experience working with Paulina Slovenkai and her team at the Palm. Service was exceptional- I was pleasantly surprised at how thoughtful Paulina's details in planning were. She created a beautiful ambiance with décor, music and service. The most important aspect of our experience was that the event ran smoothly and without issue. Working with Paulina and her great staff has made for many very nice dinner parties at the Palm Boston. From Anniversary dinners to college graduation parties The Palm has never disappointed. The food is always exceptional and the service is right on par as well. Great selection of food and wine and the cocktails are always tremendous!
