We needed to schedule a photoshoot within a several day window. We were lucky enough that Daniela had an opening in her schedule. The photos are so beautiful and we cherish them! Daniela was very professional but also fun to work with! She also sent the photos to us very quickly! We cannot recommend her enough! She is a wonderful photographer!

Daniela is incredibly talented and definitely worth the investment! A friend of mine recommended her and after looking at her wedding photos, I knew Daniela was my top choice. She was so incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the planning process and really remembers all of your special requests the day of the wedding. She has this incredibly ability take photos from many angles and capture important moments without drawing attention, but also being right there when you want to talk to her. She's amazing!

Daniela Dawson is amazing!!! We were drawn to her from all of the unbelievably positive feedback we had read about her, and we could not have made a better choice!! She is incredibly professional, timely, friendly and a master of her craft. She braved one of the coldest days I think I've ever experienced with us to capture a winter wonderland photo session for our engagement photos, and they came out incredible. It was exactly what we had our hearts set on and more! We also have just gotten our wedding photos back (much sooner than anticipated) and they are PERFECT!!! She captured our special day perfectly and we are going to cherish the moments she's caught on film for the rest of our lives. It's been a year since we had our wedding and I was too busy to write this review. However, now that my sister is getting married and asked for a good photographer I remembered how awesome Daniela was! She was so easy and fun to work with. My husband hates posing so she didn't make us do poses and let us just be ourselves while she took many pictures and they are beautiful!

My husband and I were married this past September and I can honestly say that we both feel incredibly lucky to have found Daniela to be our photographer. She was an absolute delight to work with from day one. With all of the craziness of wedding planning, I never once thought twice about the photography element of the day knowing that Daniela had it all under control. She is so sweet and thoughtful and was a calming force through all our planning and on our wedding day. I’ve been a bridesmaid in other weddings where the photographers felt like a pushy presence during getting ready times or during portraits, but with Daniela it felt like having an awesome friend hanging around who also just happened to be taking your photos. Our entire family commented on how wonderful she was, and she handled photographing our 6 boisterous nephews and nieces with ease. Both my husband and I count as one of our favorite memories of our wedding day the part where we walked around doing our portraits with just Daniela. We had so much fun and she made us feel comfortable and natural, she helped to create and capture was a special moment of peace and fun for the two of us in the midst of a crazy day.


Her positive energy shines through in the photos. She really captures the feeling and emotions of the day. Looking through them I’m instantly transported back to the emotion of that day. What everyone says is true- your wedding day goes by SO fast. I truly cherish the photos Daniela took for us because they are memories made tangible. Her photos help us go back in time and actually feel it all over again. I know I’ll cherish these images, and the feeling she created for us through them, for the rest of my life. I’m so happy to have chosen Daniela and I look forward to the next excuse to hire a photographer just so I can work with her again!

Daniela was, HANDS DOWN, the best vendor decision I made for my entire wedding. Not only is she tremendously talented, she is the sweetest soul you will ever meet. From start to finish, we were so pleased with her services.

We opted to take advantage of Daniela’s complimentary engagement session. We met out by Beavertail Lighthouse (apparently one of her favorite spots around town). This was really the first time that my husband and I had taken pictures of this nature so, of course, we were just a little anxious going into it all. Daniela made everything SO easy, fun, and relaxed. The very next day she sent over a few sneak peak pics from the engagement session. The photos were STUNNING. It made me even more excited to have her as my photographer!

On the day of the wedding Daniela showed up and we just had a brief conversation about any of the pictures I specifically wanted. I also gave her a list of my “need to have” pics. She made sure that all of these were taken. Further, we did all of our family/wedding party pics BEFORE the ceremony, which was probably the greatest idea ever. My wedding party was actually able to enjoy cocktail hour while my husband and I snagged just a few more shots we wanted. I would also like to note that it can sometimes be difficult herding a large group of people and also fitting them into one picture with a cohesive look. Daniela was a master at this and, again, just such a sweet and calm presence.

During the actually wedding Daniela walked around with a big smile on her face. When I received my pictures I was just floored. I knew that they were going to be good because I already saw the engagement pics but the wedding pics just blew everything out of the water. She captured every intricate detail so beautifully.

I’m so grateful I hired Daniela! She is a genuinely kind, wonderful, TALENTED person. If you can snag Daniela for your wedding, DO SO ASAP! It will be your best wedding decision too!!!

Daniela was one of our favorite vendors to work with during our wedding. She's super sweet, very responsive, and most importantly, takes some awesome photos! From the day we reached out, she was welcoming and worked with us to ensure our day would be special. She understood our style was more candid and natural, not the typical "staged" photos at weddings, which is her definitely in her wheelhouse! We loved the shots she captured for our engagement photos and wedding, and we're so glad that we've got so many beautiful images that captured an amazing day. The photos came to us super quick as well! She's got a great artistic eye and helped us find some unique areas for photos. She also helped keep our day on track which was super helpful as well - she would touch base with us on things that might affect our timeline (which she knew we were worried about) and she made sure we had an amazing day, catching all the things the bride and groom can be too busy to see. We were so happy to have Daniela photograph all of the great moments of our wedding day, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

Daniela photographed our wedding in rural Vermont, and took our engagement photos in and around the Boston Public Library. We really hadn't decided on a wedding photographer by the time Daniela took the engagement photos, but those photos sealed the deal; we immediately invited her to photograph our wedding.

The wedding photos, and the process of taking them, blew us away. She captured the happiness of the guests, captured the love between two of us, and captured the beauty of the scenery. She also managed to capture all the tiny details that we put time into for the ceremony and the reception; it is so great that we will be able to remember all of these little personal touches years down the road.

And she's so fun! Taking all these photos was a pure joy. I didn't think it was possible to simultaneously pose a number of photos AND have the whole experience feel spontaneous and fun. Daniela pulled it off perfectly. It was simply fun to have her around on the special day, especially after we had gotten to know her during our engagement shoot.

You should book her for your engagement shoot and/or wedding before the rest of the world does.

Daniela is amazing! We did a lot of research into Boston area wedding photographers and were unimpressed with so many we communicated with. From the very first communication, Daniela was just what we were looking for: laid back, confident, open and communicative. We met with her in person and immediately hired her. Her photos showed her range and artistic talent. Everything was perfect. The photos she took captured the essence of the day. They are not just a series snapshots capturing events. Each photo could stand alone on its artistic merit. They tell the story of the wedding. We couldn't be happier!

Daniela was amazing! We hired her for our wedding in Newport and she captured so many wonderful moments from the day. As we go through the photographs it's impossible to choose the favorites. She was great to work with, super responsive and professional. We loved her, are super happy with are photos and so grateful we were lucky enough to have her part of our wedding.
