Makeup By Lauren Whipple is an accomplished makeup artist located in Wanchese, North Carolina. Starting her career in 2012, owner Lauren has gained knowledge with makeup in all types of settings. In 2014 and 2015 she was invited to New York Fashion Week, where she learned about different types of makeup application and how to work in a high-intensity setting. She specializes in bridal/special occasion makeup and is thrilled to be a part of your big day.

Absolutely Flawless!

Lauren did my bridal makeup as well as my daughter, my other junior bridesmaid, and my mom. Everything about my experience with her was amazing- from my first contact until the very end. She was quick to respond, easy to work with, and made us all look flawless! She was attentive but sweet as she did what she needed before the ceremony. She was very prompt and efficient. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

A delightful surprise

So one month before my wedding, my make up artist bailed on me and I was panicking. I am scared of make up because I do not wear it and people always mess up my eyeliner. I found Lauren from wedding wire and decided to take a chance and pray that she was available for my day and she was! She came out and I can honestly say I’ve never seen someone do make up so beautifully and just RIGHT. I felt like I stepped off a Pinterest page. But seriously she was amazing and I loved her(:

Great experience, loved her ideas!

Lauren was great to work with! She made my bridal party look amazing for my wedding day. She made me feel super comfortable and was so sweet! She really knows what she's doing and did an amazing job with our airbrush makeup. She was quick to respond to all my emails and super flexible for my makeup trial. I would definitely recommend her services for your wedding day.

Lifesaver!

Lauren was a lifesaver for my wedding! I was lucky she was available the day of my wedding so that my bridesmaids could have their make up done as well. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and made everything as easy as possible! And the make up was fantastic!

Lauren did such an amazing job for my wedding! We did a makeup trial 3 days before my wedding and she was so accommodating meeting up with me. I planned my wedding from NY so it was very nerve wracking hiring a makeup artist from so far away! She did makeup for 3 bridesmaids, 2 moms and myself and got everyone completed effortlessly! She was a treat to work with and such a nice person. She even helped touch up my hair before I walked down the isle! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Lauren was not only super accomodating for me and my bridesmaids, she was also SO warm and kind. I am from NY and planning a destination wedding is terrifying, especially hiring a makeup artist. I did a make up trial with lauren three days before my wedding. She was so welcoming and a breath of fresh air. She did an amazing job on all of my bridemaids and never made any of us feel rushed. Her relaxed style was contagous which made the whole room destress. love love love!

I cannot give this girl enough praise! She was absolutely perfect for my wedding day! What set her apart from other make up artists that I met with was that she took her time during our makeup trial to learn exactly what I was looking for, and she delivered! She made the whole process so easy, and was very accommodating for someone who doesn't live in the area. Don't hesitate to hire this girl, you won't be sorry!!

Just when you think you can't possibly be more beautiful on your wedding day, you meet Lauren and she transforms you into a modern day Cinderella. She is truly amazing!!! Not only did she do all the makeup for our wedding party including the moms, she also touched up the groomsman and Groom! She was wonderful throughout the entire day, keeping me calm and reassuring me that everything was going to be wonderful. She even stayed after the ceremony to do any necessary touch ups! She is truly one in a million and will forever be in my heart! I will always be grateful to her for making us all beautiful! ❤️
